Chez ma cousine in Genève

This day we went to get four portions of chicken to take away, the chicken tasted weird. We couldn't eat it. I called you to let you know and the only answer I was given was that you had changed supplier and that there was nothing you could do. This saddens me a lot!

This was my second time there during the trade fair. Very easy to reach by bus. Very friendly service despite language problems. Also super tasty food in more than adequately sized portions. Prices are reasonable for Swiss standards. I'd love to come back.

Beautiful space. Nice seating outside but if seated next to a smoker then it does kill the ambience. Some smokers don’t understand that people do suffer from asthma and other conditions and can trigger a wheezing epdi side when they get second hand smoke. Nature and trees and good ambience is for all. So I wish Swiss does something to stop public smoking. Chez ma cousine is famous for its half chicken and soup. The soup portions are a bit small but nevertheless tastes great. The service personnel are friendly and simply amazing. Just the smokers need to stay out. 🙂

The guy at the desk at our hostel suggested we go here if we had a craving for chicken…so we did. This was a wise decision as the rotisserie chicken 🍗 we ordered was absolutely phenomenal!! Tender, tasty, and cooked to perfection, this was easily the best chicken I’ve ever had! I realize I’ve been saying that a lot on this trip but I stand by that statement firmly because I keep getting my mind blown by the quality of so many great places I’ve patronized. The service was great; we were greeted and seated immediately! The waiter was friendly and our food came out so quick we were like ?!?!? Yes! We left with smiles on our faces and our stomachs content. Would definitely go back and also highly recommend. We got there around 11:30 and the place started filling up shortly after that.

Thai bland chicken, overcooked lamb...increased prices. The complete opposite of what Chez Ma couisine was. Only the gesture of offering us a coffee saved the experience a little. Difficult to think of going back.

Very good meal! Very good homemade nuggets. They should even call them tenders because the chicken meat is not ground!! Top! No waiting and pleasant service. Big downside on the homemade “coke”. There were 6 of us who ordered it and we didn't like it unanimously. I recommend the address.

Very good chicken, juicy with crunchy skin, fresh green salad, homemade lemonade, desert, coffee. Nice and very quick service.

Nice place, good food. The desserts are delicious and we are never disappointed with the 1/2 chicken. On the other hand, the manager (tall bald) behaves very badly with his employees, yelling at them in front of customers, confronting them face to face. Give orders and say bad words out loud. Before his arrival the atmosphere was much friendlier.

The place is deceptive... You think you're finding a classic little restaurant and yet it's quite the opposite. Despite its geographical discretion and simplicity, the dishes there are delicious. The service is quality. The staff is smiling and accessible. And the wait is almost non-existent. In short, a perfect place for a good meal, which was the case for our handball team. Our players still talk about it. Can not wait for next year. ;) Signed by the team’s physical trainer.

That of Petit Saconex is a pleasure for children. The adults are also well cared for and well fed - portions are generous.

Fairly simple restaurant, good place to eat chicken

Very nice fried goat cheese salad, an amazing tarte tatin (apple reversed pie) with cream and vanilla ice cream and a very cozy terrace.

The waitress with her accent was a very bad waitress. She was very bitter.

Nice restaurant where everything revolves around the preparation of the chicken, in Italy it would be a rotisserie with table service, however for the quality/price ratio I didn't mind at all, good products and well cooked, perhaps the portions could have been slightly more generous, but considering the alternatives and the competition I can overlook it. Good beer, excellent potatoes and tasty dessert. Courteous and kind service. Full sufficiency achieved with expectations of improvement for the future.

We called for booking a table for six people and when we arrived 30 min after they had finished the chickens…but this was not anticipated at the phone and the place was not particularly full… Considering that is a place where they do practically only chickens, how can it be that this was not anticipated at the phone when we booked?

This is it! This is the one, the best restaurant in Geneva! I've been living in Geneva for two months and I tried all sorts of fast food, they are all below average. This one sets the bar high and is far better than most fast food places around the world. 4 stars on service because they wouldn't let me order by phone and pick it up :( but other than that it's amazing

Unpretentious restaurant, but which serves tasty dishes, quickly and with a smile. I ate there, often had takeaway, never disappointed. And their cousin sauce hmmm… delicious!

We gathered for the departure of a colleague around a good roast chicken with fries and a 🥗. I left very happy and with a full stomach. To do again and in the same place. I recommend 100%. Well done to the staff.

Great place! Be sure to try out the lemon mayonnaise sauce - it’s bursting with flavor and definitely pairs well with the chicken. Service was also great and the interior decor provided a pleasant atmosphere for a family outing.

I believe we were very unlucky yesterday: we could not order the half grilled chicken - that I believe is their highlight - cause they ran out of it so we took a chicken sandwich and a thai curry chicken. Although the sandwich was ok, the green curry was cold and not tasty at all. The sauce was so cold that was not anymore liquid and had a strange texture. I wouldn't expect to get something at the se level of a Thai restaurant, but a cold sauce which wasn't even warmed up was really a bad surprise. I didn't ask for replacement because I already had to do it, as the first dish I received wasn't what I had ordered. Hopefully this was just a bad episode that doesn't reflect their standards.

Waitresses without any respect for the customer, French staff, terrible. Every time I pass by I want to throw eggs at them at the windows. Lost boss yells at the waitresses live. In short, it feels like Marakesh. I like.

Good place for a simple and very good meal. I have eaten there several times and each time it was perfect. A good place for a quick meal. The desserts were also very good.

Service too slow! We asked 3 times if it was possible to serve the children first and even so, the adults received their dishes before. 1 hour wait for chickens seems too long!!

If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without being disturbed by inappropriate behavior, this restaurant may not be the ideal choice. In fact the manager shouts throughout the restaurant which is particularly unpleasant.

What can we say, we often go there, it’s the staff’s waltz and therefore the catastrophe… The bosses have increased the drinks so much that you go to the nearby gas station for your drink. Abuse of the price of drinks and the cousine sauce cooking juices lengthen with water. Too bad.

As usual we come to eat in this restaurant but when you make a mistake on your ticket and you bring me with an extra dessert I'll let you know... offer the 2 coffees at least... so much rapia...

We love coming to my cousin's with the children because it's good and served quickly... normally. This is the first time that there were so many people that the service was a little slow. We will come back but outside the holiday season!

The food was delicious and the service stellar! We got the dish they're famous for, the 1/2 poulet à la broche (1/2 chicken cooked in a rotisserie with fried potatoes and a salad) and the roast pork. Not only were they both delectable (both very tasty and cooked just right) they're also priced reasonably. The staff is wonderful, everyone with whom we interacted was very warm and pleasant. I definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Simple and good. The “homemade” sauce is cooking juices, defatted. Paying 2.8 is too expensive. I would have liked homemade fries, especially with wide time slots, there would be little or no waste.

I never felt home in a restaurant more than Chez ma Cousine. The make feel you are in your cousin house or your relatives the ambiance is very cozy and the staff are really friendly dly and thye make you feel at home.

I used to eat their roast chicken with fries but I kinda prefer the thai chicken salad (salade de poulet thai). It's just prefectly spicy.

Avoid the Grand Saconnex restaurant. No customer service, lousy. You order two chickens, one with rice, they are unable to prepare different orders. When we call them, they find no solution, they hang up on you. Their only solution is for me to go back and get the hot rice and eat it with my cold chicken at home. No refund, no delivery at their expense even though it's their mistake, no sympathy... I go almost every week to the one in the city center, and there they know how to work and talk to customers.
