Christen Beck in Stans

Very relaxing! Just a cafe, not crowded (like at the train station), no drinking (like pubs) and no cigarette smoke. Good air, good coffee with milk (!) and good desserts. Unfortunately, you have to look more and more for cafes “that” are just cafes. Stans is now very big and there are always a lot of people (unfortunately I don't know many anymore, I was away for a few years myself)... Have a nice day!

Magnificent varied food store, with many exclusive products but very expensive! Everything is perfectly set up and highlighted. Beautiful wine cellar. Lots of choices for small gifts to bring as a guest. 4 small tables at the entrance with service for a coffee, croissant. A bit of a draft with the sliding door at minus 5C outside! Lots of choices of bread and small pastries!

The backery in Stans. The only place I know when a cashier is unhappy with a client when they buy more than a few items. Apparently, selling more items at once a bad thing because "they will be sitting empty later". I watched this happen today, too. I have no desire to purchase items in this backery anymore when this cashier is selling there. Regarding the food - it is fine but nothing special. Some regualr sandwiches, oversweet pastry (as anywhere in Switzerland). I prefer other places in Lucerne.

Great selection of high quality local food! It hurts my soul that I don't have anything comparable at home in Germany.

Decent Bakery, with alot of good pastries, the sandwichs where a little Stale and the bread was super hard to bite into, other than that it was a good place for a quick snack

The whole shop at Dorfplatz 9 in Stans is in a class of its own! Great products and super nice staff! It's nice to still be served there! BRAVO!!👍👍👍

Spinach quiche was totally peppered, I only tasted the spiciness and no more of the spinach. I only knew from my order that it was actually spinach. Takeout.

Sorry, the Easter chocolate bunnies tasted like they were made in a factory to me. Way too sweet for me. I paid 18 for it. Better go to the Coop and get the chocolate bunny there. The Berliner was also very dry for me. Very disappointing!

I was in the village square because I had to wait. I ordered a latte with a nut stick. The employee was very unfriendly. Unfortunately it was cold and quickly uncomfortable in the restaurant, the nut stick where I was hoping for a fresh one that had been baked in the morning (because they are really good and you can tell whether it is from today or not from today) had the texture and quality of one from the day before yesterday.. I also eat things the day before, no problem, but then I would like to know beforehand (especially at the bakery). 2.60 for the stem was definitely too much. The small bowl costs 4.90 but comes with a glass of water and a small biscuit.

In the last year the quality has deteriorated. not improved. It's a shame, but I don't buy baked goods here anymore!

We would have liked to have dessert at 4:25 p.m. The service lady told us it was too late, they closed at 5 p.m....

Would have given 5 star hands down. Excellent place. Good food. Convenient location. But big negative was the attitude of the attendant tonight. Extremely irritable, arrogant and looking down at tourists. Totally disappointed with the way she handled us as if she is giving the food for free.. Dint wanna give 1 star cos the place is really good otherwise.
