Friendly service, but the food was nothing special (Melanzane alla Parmigiana were simply disappointing), but the prices were even higher. The cheapest pizza at CHF 24 says it all, it's a shame.

Unfortunately not recommended. We were there on March 9, 2024 and were disappointed: - the drink was not carbonated -The knife used to cut pizza was blunt -The whole table shook while cutting the food -the most unpleasant part: my meat wasn't cooked medium rare and had to be returned...the waiting time was so long that my husband and I basically ate completely separately I don't imagine an evening like that, especially not with the prices. We were offered a tiramisu, but that couldn't save the evening and we politely declined. Unfortunately a complete disappointment.

We were looking for pizza in Andermatt after a ski tour and were not disappointed. The small but well-chosen menu immediately made a good impression; we decided on pizza with a great dough and good toppings. We spent our New Year's Eve at L'Ambasciatore and wow was it amazing! The owner was super charming and polite. The service was super nice and accommodating. The chefs were full-blooded Italians, which is an absolute plus for an Italian restaurant. Pizza, pasta entrees and dessert were delicious. The drinks are sensational.
