Ciko's in Winterthur

Ditto, I also had food poisoning on Friday, I ate a kebab box, came home and got cramps, that was it for me.

I ordered a kebab and only at Cikos did I get food poisoning. I'll never go there again.

Very nice atmosphere. Friendly owner who is happy to advise customers on the menu. Very tasty food even if the price is a bit above average. We would like to come again!

They play Turkish songs but when you ask where are you from, they said Kurdish 🤔 and hate Turkish people as I saw. no sense... They have "Manti" in the menu which the ravioli is great but sauce is terrible which is far far away from original Manti. Doner is fine. But the meat is typical ready to go type which you can find everywhere, not like original doner. Pommes 👍

The appearance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. The retro industrial lamps take us back to the time when the city of Winterthur was a large craft town. The staff is very friendly. Wonderful oriental dishes are served.

Absolutely top. The Berlin kebab is perfect. Cihan knows how to do it. Very nice shop, good food.

And friendly and no greeting, you stand for 10 minutes without them coming to you.

So far I've only eaten Dürüm, but it's really tasty 😋

Insider tip. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, but the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the hosts are friendly. The food is really first class.

Ciko's has good food, very friendly staff and reasonable prices. The portions and sauces are very generous. If you sit outside, it would be nice if the staff came by every now and then to check on you. Otherwise everything is great! I would come back in a heartbeat!

Wow, great. Ciko's sets new standards when it comes to ambience. The “Berliner Art” kebab was also incredibly tasty and its size is enough for every craftsman. Great go on.

Ciko’s in Winterthur is both a restaurant and take away. The restaurant is modernly furnished with large windows and a pleasant ambience. That lunchtime I took advice from the waiter and on his recommendation, supported by a guest, I ordered a 'special', the chicken plate with bulgur and various salads. Everything tasted great and the portion was really big. Two sauces were served with it, yoghurt and cocktail, although I didn't find the latter to really suit the dish. I spent a nice lunchtime here, pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service and very tasty food. What's not right for me is the price. For this great and rich dish, plus a drink, plus an espresso, I only pay CHF 26.00, which is clearly not enough. I'm happy to pay more because I would like to eat at Ciko's again in the future.

Unfortunately there is not enough meat in the kebab. You're welcome to take a sample at "Russli"... A student menu is also offered, but it doesn't say that it's only available to those aged 16 and under. If I'm 17 and a student, I'll assume that I belong if nothing else says.

At the beginning, Ciko's was one of the best restaurants in Winterthur. I became a regular customer and unfortunately I was disappointed for the third time. The food is served cold. It doesn't taste good at all anymore. In the beginning everything was much better. It's a shame that everything is only perfect when it opens is done and over time because you have won the customers it gets worse!!!

The food is great, but the service has been very questionable and poor for weeks. On the last two visits to the restaurant we waited at least 45 minutes for our food.

Unfortunately, the "cook" wasn't interested in me, the bread was filled sparingly and there was no sign of the grilled vegetables. The main thing is to say something else, but get the order wrong. Please hire motivated employees, like the young gentleman in the restaurant who is always friendly.

Excellent, always freshly prepared Food 👍👌 also great salads.👌 Generous portions, absolutely a very good price-performance ratio! 👍 Very friendly, attentive staff, at least the pretty, slim woman who speaks standard German and is always extremely nice to all the guests 😊👍👍 We are happy to come back for dinner at any time. Sorry, run of the mill kebab meat, no real highlights in the menu, in my opinion even too expensive. Even when there were few guests, we (2) were asked to leave the back area because it was apparently only intended for restaurant guests, even though we also ate in the restaurant. Another kebab shop nicely packaged

In addition to the very inviting atmosphere, the staff is also very polite, well-positioned and you can tell that everyone enjoys working at Ciko's. This can also be seen in the quality, the food is fresh and very varied. There are traditional dishes including kebabs. But you can also enjoy great drinks from the bar after your meal. So an all-round package - which I don't want to miss out on in the future :).

Not the typical run-of-the-mill kebab shop, honestly, the atmosphere is lively and very inviting, the food is prepared with love and you can taste it, a different enjoyment experience and the owner is on site and responds to the gesture and takes care of it. I'll be back (at least for a date :D)

Unfortunately just another kebab shop with some ambience. The otherwise rich Turkish cuisine is once again reduced to kebabs and a few fried dishes. It's a shame they don't make more of themselves and their food.

We had a very good meal here in Winterthur at the newly opened Ciko's and enjoyed a very fine coffee. The beautiful ambience and the courteous service are top. Conclusion: Fine, mostly Turkish specialties. in a very nice restaurant and courteous hosts. I can definitely recommend Ciko's.
