Good pizza. Friendly staff. In summer with a seat in the fresh air.

Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service staff. BUT: I was in the mood for a good, real Italian carbonara again. Instead, I received a mega-fatty cream-bacon sauce (the egg was barely noticeable in the sticky mass of cream and fat), which stayed on my stomach that night. For me this has nothing to do with a real carbonara. And: CHF 26.50 for a plate of pasta, well...

Gluten free is not the slightest problem. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The pizzas are excellent. We were all very satisfied

Solid pizza but stuffy atmosphere and service.

The pizza was maybe acceptable, but I was quite disappointed by the service and the lack of language options. I don't see myself going to this place again.

Very good and friendly service. The food was enjoyable and exceeded expectations. The wine list has a good selection, the house wine particularly stood out. The dessert selection was clear and had a lot of special types of desserts, the lemon ice cream in a lemon tasted very good.

The sea bass & bruschettas were excellent and the service upstairs was also very attentive. The owner doesn't seem to be having the best day - his hospitality is not encouraging - had a good evening with a business partner and enjoyed the evening with a good wine - will definitely come back again and hope that the management also gets a smile on their faces.

It was very loud. The food wasn't really worth much other than being expensive. The stairwell smells of urine. Not worth a second visit for me.

There is hardly any space to sit on the upper floor. You are back to back with the table behind you. If you sit near the wall, other guests at the next table will have to stand up so you can exit. It was very uncomfortable and uncomfortable. The friendliness of the staff also leaves a lot to be desired. The food was below average, but the price was above average. There are definitely better Italian restaurants in Baden. A pity!

The seafood craving was resolved very well. The number of mussels, shrimps and calamari was very good. The sauce with it is simply fantastic. The service was very well coordinated, three different people and everyone knew what to do. I didn't have to wait from ordering to eating to paying, even though the restaurant was full 👍 Even though all the tables were reserved, a table was spontaneously found which I was allowed to use for 45 minutes. I am very satisfied ❣️👍 / Today it was difficult to pay (20 minutes), but they were also visibly overbooked.

Food was very fine. Truffle cream was really nice with the raviolis. It was a shame that we were almost thrown out by the staff at 9:15 p.m. They didn't ask us for dessert and already cleaned everything. It was open until 10:30 p.m., so we don't expect that we won't get anything more. Two passers-by were even turned away at this time because the kitchen was already closed. I feel sorry for the kitchen as the food was good.

08/15/23; The service is literally a disaster. The boss tries to correct what happened when his employee (m) oversleeps. Only the assistant is very friendly and tries to make the best of the situation. My menu was taken away by the kind service employee before ordering (without asking) and given to another neighboring table because he forgot to bring two new cards to the table! The small pizza Nonna Lina was small and shaped like a heart, but it came without truffle oil and with dried-out raw ham. The normal pizza wasn't really any bigger but cost three francs more at CHF 26.80. When we asked the waiter about it, he said; yes, your class. Pizza turned out too big!! And wanted to discuss with me. The boss brought the truffle oil in half of the pizza. Ah and a pizza knife was only available after 5 minutes when the pizza was already lukewarm! I don't have to mention at this point that our service employee no longer paid any attention to us from the time of the criticism!!

Pizza and chilli oil are very good! Choice isn't great and prices are a bit high (21-28chf for a basic pizza) Wouldn't be an issue if the service was even half decent... Absolutely aweful! 30 mins for pizza to arrive and had to go inside to ask for my 2nd drink which was already ordered 10 minutes before. Chef is clearly great but the boss doesn't seem interested and waiting staff don't even acknowledge you are there. There were 7 customers for 3 waiters when I ate... no excuses... just terrible service. And the bill came with 3 beers... only 2 beers drank (after some effort to get the 2nd) Altogether not a relaxing and pleasant experience... A shame because the food was really good

Restaurant la Citadella is on street level and easy to access. Notice that in my grading 4 is very good and 5 is outstanding. The waiter was very welcoming and friendly and we were quickly seated. The menu is wide and there is something for everybody. We started with bruscetta dust for tasty with a strong days of garlic that I liked very much in addition to good tomatoes. After that we had a mixed salad with Italian dressing. For the main course I had pizza Napoli that was really good with a lot of fish. The pizza was tasty and salty and the pizza dough was perfectly baked on the darker side which I prefer. We didn't have dessert but some good coffee instead. Overall we were very happy with our visit to this restaurant and we will return.

I had dinner at Citadella with colleagues on Friday. Even though I personally wasn't particularly impressed with the starter, the pizza was amazing. Crispy, perfectly seasoned and still juicy. So I was very happy with the food! The service seemed slightly stressed which was a bit annoying. All in all, it was a good and enjoyable evening. I'll be happy to come back, thank you!

The pizza tasted good and the Carpaccio di Manzo was even very tasty. Most of the staff are very friendly and the location is very pleasant. The bread rolls and olive paste offered were also very tasty. Prices are OK, I would come back if I'm in the region.

Unfortunately the food is really not good. You don't have to be Italian to understand that there is no such thing as square mozzarella. The breaded mozzarella is flat and square! Ergo, an industrial cheese and it has nothing to do with mozzarella. The mozzarella on the pizza is definitely not good quality mozzarella either. The soup with egg was rather eggless and the pizza itself was swimming in fat due to the poor quality salami. I'm sorry, but this restaurant doesn't deserve more than 2 stars. At least the service was friendly, but also very stressed.

At the beginning the service was great. The order was taken quickly and the drinks came quickly. After the starter it took a long time until the main course arrived, and the plates were certainly not cleared away for 30 minutes after the main course. An offer of dessert was made, but we decided not to take it because the ordering of desserts and coffee took a long time. The price/quality ratio wasn't right for me. 27Fr for a pizza is a lot, although quality can also be demanded. From my point of view, the beginning was good, but the service and quality declined rapidly and I wouldn't go there again.

Christmas dinner. Should share the upper floor with a maximum of 2-4 other people. At the end there were about 12 who had a huge party and were loud. If you promise something, you should keep it. Ok as a bar, not recommended for parties etc. Limancello and coffee were offered, although I don't drink either. Wirt squeezed in more for profit, which really dampened the mood. Next time no more there for me. Food was very good.

Staff is friendly. Restaurant quite small and many tables lined up together, therefore very narrow and correspondingly loud. We've been there several times. I noticed that every now and then a limoncello is offered with coffee and other times not at all.

Good Italian restaurant with variations of classic dishes such as pasta, pizza, gnocchi, risotto etc. Well attended, so the noise level is correspondingly high, so not for a romantic dinner. Overall, everything was right, there was just a certain warmth missing that you expect from an “Italian”. We enjoyed the house wine “La Citadella” from Corti opposite.

On a Sunday evening you want to eat a pizza, and you think you are in the right place but instead you are not and so we order 2 pizzas they arrive, but the worst thing is that you find a hair, ask the owner and you notice that he is annoyed by what has happened the pizza and says it's done immediately, 3 minutes pass and the pizza arrives, but the same pizza that was sent back is brought back because they didn't realize there was chilli pepper 🌶 so it's just reheated, I'm sorry but that's not how we'll ever behave again

We were happy to let the boss's charm convince us to stay. Accordingly, the service and the offer were very professional. The house aperitif tastes slightly sweet and sparkles refreshingly. The pizza was perfect for my taste. The ingredients (shrimps of different sizes) were also visually beautiful and easy to separate from the shell. The pizzaiolo thought about something.

The restaurant was full when we visited, it took us 3 minutes.... actually 5, to organize a table for 3 people. The organization with 2 people serving and 1 at the bar to prepare orders works well. Every time we thought we were forgotten in our room someone came to take our order or bring us a drink or a dish. Excellent value for money. A good table with nice portions. The difficulty is the language.

I couldn't have asked for a better birthday meal. I haven't had such a great meal in a restaurant for a long time. I had tagliatelle with cream of cauliflower soup. An absolute delight for the palate. When I'm in Baden again, "La Cittadella" will definitely be one of my destinations. Every single star is absolutely deserved. I came back here from Zurich today specifically to have dinner with my girlfriend. It was great again👍. Super delicious food and great service. The tables were all occupied. No wonder. We'd love to come back
