Clubhaus TC Ried in Wollerau

Very loving and tasteful restaurant decorated for Christmas. The starter was first class, the martini was as it should be, the fillet steak was on point. The welcome alone was so warm. There was only some room for improvement in the service; the lady seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, but was always extremely friendly. In any case, I have a clear recommendation; it couldn't be better.

Food good, service very nice, lots of parking spaces in front of the restaurant, large terrace. Of course it's not exactly cheap, but you should know that it's normal in Switzerland.

We were starving. Not really, but we were so hungry . We were lost not really, but we were on our way to a place we had never been. I told my son to pull off at the next exit and take a chance to see what we could find so we could get something to eat and we came across this amazing little gem of a restaurant called Orion. The setting was picturesque and the weather was lovely so we could eat outside at tables which were very close to a beautiful arch and the indescribable beauty of the small town. Then we saw a chalkboard menu , and at the top of it were words that I had been hoping but not able to find during our two week stay in Germany, Wild boar. 40 years ago when I lived in Germany I ate it and loved it, and I wanted to get that memory back. This was the most amazing taste sensation with thick gravy, and none of the over gaminess of that type of meat. It was served with the most delicate baby brussels sprouts and warm German potato salad, which I am not usually a fan of because I like my potato salad cold. My son ordered the schnitzel, and it was fried with such perfection. There was no heaviness and it was not super thin either. It came with french fries, which were cooked to perfection. We ended up switching plates and each eating half which was an amazing bonus. To top all of this off, the price was not bad at all, and in Switzerland, that’s really something to say. But I truly think that the best thing of all was the amazing server. I liked her so much that I wrote her name down on the card so I could be certain to thank her by name. Of course, the card is nowhere to be found and I am not the youngest person anymore. She had blonde hair with a curl in it and a smile that would light up Luzerne. She said she did not speak English well, but she did, and she laughed with us and made us feel at home in this wonderful little restaurant. If you happen to be in this area and you do not stop by and meet the owners, who apparently also are the chefs, and this lovely , lovely lady that took care of us it will be a huge mistake. I am so very sorry that I cannot remember your name as you were phenomenal and you made the meal more amazing than it already was if that’s possible.
