Excellent, we loved it, very smiling welcome, fast and precise service and the quality of the food is really perfect. The restaurant's decor is equally well thought-out. I highly recommend it.

Ordered Mi Xao Bo on UberEats, where I got the wrong menu delivered. They reacted instantly, sent the correct menu to me asap and even sent a cake for free - super nice! Also, the food and service is always great when dining in the restaurant, will come back again.

My favorite restaurant for Vietnamese food in Zurich. Quality very good and chic, rustic-modern atmosphere.

We didn’t like the food. We ordered lemon grass ribs and duck in glass noodles. Both were painfully dry. The service was ok. The restaurant is nice. Prices are too high even for Zurich. Cannot recommend.

Very good food with a large selection and delicious dishes. The ambience inside is very nice, but I wasn't entirely happy on the terrace. It is very difficult to get a table, but this also shows that the quality is good and there is a lot of demand. I can happily recommend it

An absolutely awesome place to eat!

The food was delicious, unfortunately the hospitality leaves a lot to be desired! We had reserved a table for a birthday party. Even before dessert, the waitress told us that we had to leave because the table was needed for other guests. We said that when we made the reservation it was confirmed that the table had been reserved for us and that we weren't finished with the birthday dinner after 1 1/4 hours. Nothing to do, said the innkeeper. The five of us had to move to a small table and other guests took our places. I am shocked at so much arrogance towards the guests and will avoid this place in the future! The customer is no longer king here, it's all about rip-offs... what a shame.

The Bun Bo Hue was surprisingly disappointing. The meat was in the broth (so it takes up half the tub and as a result too little broth. Meat is fatty, but be expected I suppose, as it’s the rib as mentioned in the menu. I won’t be ordering This again.

Co Chin Chin is one of my favorite restaurants in Zurich. The cuisine is excellent, great atmosphere and always very courteous service. And all at a good price. The fact that you can hardly get a table here without a reservation speaks for itself. Keep it up. I would definitely like to come back. 👍🤩

There were three of us and as soon as we had eaten the main course, the bill arrived. They would need the table (without warning). Food and ambience are generally okay, but not a burner either. This mindset of maximizing profits is unkind…

Excellent Vietnamese food! Have not had a single authentic Asian dish outside of my own kitchen after I left London and moved to Zurich. This was an exception. Excellent, especially given how far we are from the source of ingredients. The ban xeo and bo la lot was super.

It's a great restaurant overall with really kind staff and tasty food. The best spare ribs ever. Nice tea as well and the passion fruit cheesecake is amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful, a nice place to go with friends, family partner/date.

Great taste experience! The dish Mi Xao Bo, egg noodles with beef and vegetables from the wok, was very tasty and beautifully served. The duck was also good. The service was very attentive, friendly and friendly, the atmosphere was appealing with lots of plants. We'd love to come back!

A haven of peace in the heart of Zurich. It's an authentic, quality experience that you won't find anywhere else in this city. Formerly nicknamed the Elephant of Light, this former tobacco bar converted into an exotic temple takes us on a journey through our 5 senses. The staff is warm, smiling and thinks of what you don't think. The dishes are a delight that you won't find anywhere else. All for a low and more than reasonable price.

Food is good but nothing special, service was friendly. Cocktails are also ok but way too expensive. For 16.- I expect more than just a small glass. It's almost a disgrace that normal tap water costs 6CHF per liter. If a table only ordered this water, I would understand it, but our table ordered expensive drinks and wine.

More French than Vietnamese, at least that’s my impression. Would rate differently if I came in with an expectation walking into a French-style restaurant. Overall classy and the experience is French-like.

This restaurant is beautiful, great ambience and very friendly and attentive service. We ordered the Cari Chay, the Hu Tieu Xao Chay, and the tofu and veggie summer rolls (all vegan). Nothing really blew us away, but it wasn’t bad either. I imagine the meat dishes are probably better!

Fantastic Vietnamese cuisine, food sharing concept. High quality, tasty food, nicely presented. We had 3 different starters and 3 main courses and desert and all were excellent! The service was quick and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They were also funny, cracking jokes, which made us laugh. The atmosphere is a cozy, busy atmosphere. Great if you are looking for a lively environment or if you want to celebrate a birthday. Must book in advance like everywhere in Zürich.

Just the best Vietnamese cuisine in Zurich: authentic, true flavours, great staff. I wish more restaurants were like this one here, instead of being overpriced and not great. And now do me a favour and ask them to do more pork dishes, there are to die for!

Food was alright but it came out way too quickly and the fish was coldish... Mediocre wine, no free water which is a faux pas in my opinion. The atmosphere was really cosy with lots of plants

Finally a great Vietnamese restaurant in Switzerland! It's of course not comparable to what you will find in Vietnam but quite authentic given how far away we are from the fresh ingredients.

Great Saturday lunch! We ordered a selection of starters and mains to bring as they were prepared rather than in 2 courses! Wonderful. Incredible flavours. We had: Goi Cuon, Banh Cuon, No CAO Bong, Mien. So Ga and Com Rang. Definitely coming back. Service super friendly, helpful and professional. Great Saturday vibe with the diverse restaurant crowd.

A great rustic location with delicious Vietnamese food! The picture shows “Bo Luc Lac”, which is served on a hot stone. But my favorite is the crispy duck (Vit Noung)

Co Chin Chin is a beautiful concept restaurant that's impressively well-organized. The food is nothing short of amazing. Personally, I can't get enough of their Bo-la-lot, and their Banh Xeo is both special and delicious. To top it off, their Vietnamese coffee helps soothe my homesickness with every sip. But what truly sets Co Chin Chin apart is its staff. They are the highest point of this restaurant. Incredibly helpful and friendly, they enhance the entire dining experience. A must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure and exceptional service.

Amazing Vietnamese food Zurich in really reasonable price in a wonderful environment! We had 2 tofu dishes and 2 lime drinks that was delicious! We are vegetarians so we don't know about the meat dishes but definitely it's amazing for vegs lovers.

Our favourite meal while we were in Zurich! Living in London, we eat a lot of Vietnamese food and Co Chin Chin was probably some of the best Viet we have ever had. The chicken Pho was so fresh and fragrant and the tofu rice dumplings were absolutely delicious. Service was so friendly and also had some great non-alcoholic beer available. Such a beautiful space and ambiance. Thank-you!

The food was good, but it was rather expensive. For example, a mega small muffin cost CHF 4.

Delicious Vietnamese food, could eat there every week

A Vietnamese restaurant with a gorgeous foreign style...it sells Vietnamese food but still has drinks! The food tastes quite good... but if Asians don't miss things like rice or Vietnamese pho too much... there is no need to come here to eat. After all, the price is several times that of Asia!

Whether in the restaurant or the bistro, Co Chin Chin is definitely a place to go if you love Asian cuisine. The staff are always very friendly and cheerful. The food is fantastic. Luckily, there is also an Uber Eats delivery service if you want to order on the spur of the moment. Highly recommended!

I loved this restaurant and the food offered! Truly a delight. I am relatively demanding in terms of taste and authenticity, and this restaurant meets all my criteria! There are Vietnamese dishes that you can't find everywhere! Really great originality, superb freshness and maximum tastes and flavors, truly incredible. The service was also TOP! I can only recommend that you go eat there!

A neighbourhood gem. Large dining room, outdoor seating in nice weather (blankets when it’s breezy). Staff are welcoming, but seating may take a wait on busy days. Extensive menu with lots of vegetarian choices and some cheeky comments. The 4 veg spring rolls were generous, mostly filled with taro (?) the homemade dip very mild. Awesome papaya salad. Lots of fresh herbs and awesome food presentation. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Many local regulars. Clean toilets downstairs, handicap lavatory upstairs (ask staff to unlock it if needed). Healthy way to escape to south Vietnam for an hour or two.

What a blast it is to return to that spot and indulge in some scrumptious grub with fantastic pals! But, on this one memorable evening, the service took a wild turn for the worse. It was like a culinary comedy of errors as the food didn't synchronize its entrance for all eight groups of diners. Nonetheless, the staff remained ever so affable and did their best to make amends. Despite the hiccup, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be returning for more good times and great eats!

Yesterday we had dinner at Co Chin Chin again and, as always, we were thrilled. Great location, great food and a very friendly and attentive team. It was a pleasure!

The tastiest cheese cake ever eaten.

The food was okay but overall rather disappointing because it was simply too expensive for the small portions. There were 6 of us there and at some point we were asked to leave 2.3 times. We had to be gone on a Wednesday (!) at 8:15 p.m. Weird shop.

A great Vietnamese in Zurich. The food is excellent and the Spanish waiter (from the Canary Islands) who served us was charming. I don't give the atmosphere 5 stars because there were a lot of flies, that's the only fault.

This is a wonderful restaurant and has amazing Vietnamese food that I have gone to many times. While a bit pricey it is worthwhile for treating yourself to a nice atmosphere and authentic food. When making a reservation, make sure to know which location you are booking. They have two locations just a couple blocks from each other. You will be close to the booked location either way. It just can be confusing if it's your first time there. The appetizers are also pricey, however they are almost a meal in themselves so go with an empty belly 😋

We went for lunch and the food tasted good. I usually eat a lot and my portion was a bit small. I asked if I could get a little more and they said there was no more for the prices I paid. I think it's fair too. I left the restaurant hungry but the food is good and the staff is friendly. I would happily recommend the restaurant. Cool atmosphere and super good restaurant.

Well organized, and food was amazing! I was there with 7other people, and tried various dishes and all super yummy! Service and behaviour of staff was super good. We all felt extremely welcomed! Most importantly, it's a dairy free restaurant and they have very specific menue for gluten free and vegan dishes/dessert/drinks! Highly recommend!

For me the perfect Vietnamese food. Unfortunately I cannot judge whether it is authentic.

A solid place to come to enjoy food, the hipster atmosphere and people watch. The interior decorations of Co Chin Chin is warm and welcoming, as are the hosts and servers! Five stars for atmosphere, friendly staff, food presentation and for the egg pancake we had as a starter (so far the best dish I’ve had here; see pictures). Our entrees were unremarkable but still fine to eat. I had a veggie bowl with noodles (Hu Tieu Xao Chay) and my friend had the chicken pho (Pho Ga). While the food isn’t my favorite—what draws me back is the convenient, central location right next to HB and Langstrasse and for it’s cool vibes to bring my friends/visitors. I do enjoy coming here every once and awhile just know what you’re paying for!

I don‘t get the hype about this restaurant at all. The service was awful the food was edible but nothing more. So yeah if you like salty food and like to wait for ages to place an order for your food or drinks then go there.

Top place to get proper Vietnamese food. Good choice if you share some appetizers (the rice spring rolls are amazing) and then get a Pho, my favorite 😍!

It may be that the food in the restaurant is very tasty. But if the service is bad then half the food is already spoiled. We have 15 minutes until someone comes to us and asks how many people we are for, no one. Neither asked nor given space. Waiters/ladies just looked, walked past and nothing. A pity.

We're here often but this time the food was too salty: glass noodle with crabs, crab rice and fried morning glory. Fried morning glory should have strong garlic, fish source flavour with a bit of sugar than too much salts. The crab pieces inside glass noodles seem to be pre-cooked or came out of a can as we asked no-salt for the kids yet it was still too salty. Not sure if they changed the cook or haven't tasted their own dishes for a while. Otherwise service and atmosphere was still great, but won't be back for long.

Great Vietnamese! As a Vietnamese, I can confirm that this is one of the best Vietnamese in Zurich. Super authentic food at fair prices and great service. Always worth a visit!
