Confiserie Dober AG in Flawil

Extremely unfriendly service when I was there!!! Simply at the bottom of the drawer!!!! An employee like that never, ever belongs in the hospitality industry...!!!

No matter whether in the main store or at the branch on Magdenauerstrasse, it is always great there! When I made a reservation there for my birthday, I was very happy that the ladies made a special effort and decorated my plate with chocolate 😊. They are also always very patient when we are there with the children and the little one always gets a cookie. My orders (mostly croissants or sandwiches for work) were always very good! Dober is always a good address!

I find the morning meal a bit expensive, for what it costs you could eat lunch in another restaurant

If I could give 0 stars I would! We were there late at lunchtime for a little meal. We ordered the veggimenu. Then the spectacle began. Complaint management is not an issue in this restaurant. When we complained about the food, we were shouted at by the service and then we asked to speak to the boss. We thought we could sort this all out. However, the boss came towards us like a fury and shouted at us about our problem. A normal conversation was not possible at all, he also shouted that he didn't want to listen to us and that it didn't interest him. We have already experienced a lot, but this beat everything before. Such a reaction and such a restaurant should not call itself a “gastronomy business”, it is a shame for all professional colleagues (including us). It's a shame that a regular coffee is no longer available, as we will avoid this and all other Dobers in the future.

I'm not familiar with the "banana cake". The composition is different than usual, the filling and the chocolate are soft. The taste has nothing to do with bananas. The chocolate falls down before you can enjoy the cake. A loveless cake...

A restaurant for every occasion. Good and friendly in general. Shop Bakery Confiserie...leaves nothing to be desired. Craftsmanship at its finest at a good price/performance ratio. It's nice and good that there are still such companies where the Chrf is a role model in all respects. Thanks

Service was friendly, food was good. Bill payment was extremely unfriendly. My friend was accused of knowingly using a credit card that incurs kebab costs. Incredibly unprofessional. We will avoid Dober from now on.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's 20th birthday. We agreed exactly what this should look like and we said it could be easily done. When we went to pick it up, it didn't look anything like it did on the template, no, it looked like it had been "made" by a small child. The processing of the details was very poor and the inscription, which was supposed to be large on the edge of the cake as agreed, was instead written on a small piece of white chocolate. When we asked the saleswoman about it, all she said was: "At least you can eat the chocolate." Just a shame.

Bakery, confectionery with a large café/restaurant. Fine, rich breakfast buffet. Very nicely presented, good service.

We have ordered various things from Dober several times. Half of the staff is very unfriendly and rude! This time we wanted an AMERICAN DREAM CAKE, we were assured that they also offer such cakes. In the end we ended up with a perfectly normal rectangular strawberry cake. We wanted “Happy Birthday Mayla #3” as decoration. When the employee showed us the cake, we were shocked at the “decoration” on the cake!!! (We had to pay extra for this???!) Everything was written side by side on a broken piece of chocolate in a very ugly font. That was definitely the last time we ordered there!!

Was at Dober's again on Friday. Had a coup Romanoff. Would recommend the Dober Chef to study the original recipe. Instead of Extremely Hard Nuts a dash of orange liqueur on top. But that's just too expensive. The arrangement was really careless. It just gets more expensive and worse.

I had a real fake memory, a Mandela effect experience. When I came the other day I remembered that this confiserie is supposed to be called dob(l)er with an l. but I'm shocked...it's not called dobler but dober......wow lol

Too hectic, service not friendly, employees at the counter and in the kitchen very accommodating. Food was very tasty, varied.

We wanted to eat purchased ice cream in the cafe. Cefin personally told us that wasn't possible, she was very rude

Beef tartare and raspberry yoghurt cake are absolutely worthy of stars. Staff very competent and friendly. A must for every taste and budget. Absolutely recommended and top.

I ordered a cake and wanted the whole cake blue and something written on it. To be on the safe side, I asked (3 TIMES) ''Is it really possible,' the lady who served me said, 'yeah, how can I do that, I should send a picture,' I was pleased and sent the picture. When I picked up the cake it wasn't at all what I wanted... there was only the picture on it and a few flowers... I don't think it's ok at all and I even said, "If you're unclear or have any questions, you can contact me," I will never order from dober again😠 (I wouldn't even give it 1 star)

Are not able to serve a few Wienerli with mustard and bread as ordered!!! No mustard received despite asking twice - unbelievable! Also very rude never again!

We had specifically made a reservation in the cafe for a larger group. Without further information, we were given a table in the magic garden, where it was very cool and uncomfortable. The food we ordered was ok and the service was friendly. Since we didn't really feel welcome and everyone was sitting on the metal chairs in winter jackets, we decided not to order dessert. We are very disappointed and will no longer visit Cafe Dober.

Visit Kafi Dober often. But I've been very disappointed for 1 1/2 months. Service is bad. Long waiting times, confectionery is not always fresh.

Had a meeting with 2 fellow travelers from a trip to Italy. There are good ice cream sundaes, homemade iced tea, as well as good Inger lemonade. The espresso was also very good.

I was a regular customer and went to Dober Zmorge every Sunday, go hell, Dober Flawil, so unpleasant! I ordered an 80cm sandvich and the box wasn't even closed properly, the result: sandvich flew out and landed on the floor! Then comes such a stupid saying, think of the UKRAINE, I have never experienced anything like that, a conflict is created between me and the bakery so that it is in a better position, I should take sandvich with me out of solidarity and eat it, I see what kind of dog? That's ridiculous and not customer friendly! NEVER AGAIN DOBER!

Service was very slow there last Sunday. My son (3 years old) had no understanding of this. Unfortunately there was no games corner either. It is probably suitable as a normal café, but not with and for small, bright children.

Definitely a good address in Flawil for desserts and bread products. Lunch carelessly prepared and served, service on the unfriendly side. But we all have bad days and deserve a second chance as a result.

Good pastries, good service. We used to go there for brunch, it was great. Now it's definitely great, try it out. It's worth it.

Purkorn bread = crispbread with lots of good ingredients in it: oat flakes, sunflower seeds, linseed and sesame seeds, soybean meal, wholemeal spelled sourdough, wholemeal emmer, soybeans and rye malt flour. It tastes good, unfortunately the price is overpriced. 100g costs 3.80, for my 238g pack I paid 9.15. I won't pay that price for the crispbread again.

The boss is very unfriendly and derogatory. You receive incompetent advice and your wishes are hardly taken into account. I felt very uncomfortable. Ordered a cake 3 times for birthdays. The first time she wasn't ready at the agreed time (the statement was lost). The second time you got a different filling than agreed and it didn't meet your expectations. The third time there was way too much alcohol and the taste was a disaster. I'd rather go to Migros and buy the cake there and pay half.

The breakfast buffet is only recommended. Large room at the back of the store offers plenty of space! And the homemade chocolate cream bursts the taste buds!

Very nice and rich bakery Z'Morge (brunch) including hash browns, fried eggs and bacon. The latter are cooked in a paella pan on an old wood stove.

Arrived by chance while looking for a tea room for a quick lunch. Very well stocked pastry section. Some hot meal suggestions. Simple, but good and effective. What you would expect from such a place.
