Confiserie Sprüngli in Kloten

My experience at this bakery in the airport was mixed. While the prices were a bit steep, which I suppose is typical for airport establishments, I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed by the quality of the food. The products lacked flavor and freshness, leaving much to be desired. The coffee was disappointingly watery, and the warm chocolate tasted more like cheap cocoa than real chocolate. However, I must commend the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness, which somewhat made up for the culinary letdown. Overall, it's an okay option if you're in a pinch, but don't expect anything remarkable in terms of taste.

Very bad customer service. That's not how you sell. At 6:20 p.m. I asked the saleswoman for a certain type of Luxemburgerli. Her answer: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, we don’t have it.” I’m very disappointed in the way you communicate with customers.

If it's 17 francs, please fill it up.

We had to wait about 15 minutes for our order

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday December 10th) I went to the Sprüngli Bar with my family for a coffee. The service was excellent (the ZH airport) was packed to capacity as there were lots of Christmas competitions, travelers, etc. The team put a lot of effort into serving all guests quickly and promptly (tables were cleared and disinfected in seconds), taking orders and bringing larger orders to the table together, even in pairs. You noticed how the team harmonizes and works hand in hand, and is also very friendly. Top and great respect!

Back to the team, fast women rule here, the canapés are very good... and the dream is the Chocolat Melange... Rosé good Cüpli rosé ok, not particularly Ambience great. Prices are no different from Zurich. I had a comfortable and calm time while waiting for the plane.

Long waiting time, expensive and the croissant is absolutely inedible. Pretty good

Stupid arrangement with the seating of guests as has already been mentioned here several times, especially because it doesn't work: you won't be picked up. Many guests are also confused by the barricade and where the entrance is. Tip: Just walk in and sit down.

The worst ordering system ever, queuing twice for coffee. Absolutely ridiculous

AVOID this outlet. Went here on 27 Sep at night time. Despite patiently waiting for 10 minutes, we received subpar service at this establishment. The staff appeared disinterested in assisting us and even attempted to dismiss our inquiries. Just avoid this outlet and opting for Sprungli in the duty-free area, where you'll encounter a much more pleasant and accommodating attitude."

I don't understand why guests are made to wait at the entrance for over 10 minutes even though four tables are free. We have simply spent our money elsewhere and will continue to do so in the future

Anyone making a stop at Zurich Airport has to come here. High-quality cuisine, incredibly charming service and delicious conferences and coffee specialties.

You pay 20 chf for 3 drinks and you have the waitress chef who comes to threaten you because you dare to eat a sandwich that doesn't come from here. What an unpleasant welcome. Never again Sprungli for me, place to avoid.

Only good experiences so far. Sometimes you wait a little long, but the staff, especially in the confectionery, are very nice and we were always allowed to eat Luxemburgerli with our coffee

This is the second time in a row that we have had a bad experience here. The first time it was said that you weren't allowed to eat the Luxenburgerli you bought in the store with the coffee you bought in the café 🙄 and today it was said that you don't get Orangina if you sit in the zone that doesn't belong to Lindt & Sprüngli. However, coffee from Lindt&Sprüngli would work 🤦‍♀️ Customer friendliness is no longer popular here.

If you have the wrong table because the children eat chips from the MC, the father will not be served a beer or will not be allowed to order beer at the bar because it cannot be consumed in the other part (1.5 meters next to it). Why are there always such strict rules?

My favorite Sprüngli. The employees are extremely concentrated, relaxed and nimble. And this despite the fact that they have to serve extremely stressed, impatient and unfriendly guests. I have great respect for this team. Chapeau.

Ordered a cappuccino. My 2 year old son wanted to eat his Bircher muesli in the stroller. We were told that he wasn't allowed to do that here, despite my order. Impudence! Seems Lindt & Sprüngli is on the verge of losing customers. Never again. Andre & Lennart

We were just eating at foodland right next to Sprüngli and my mother wanted to buy a coffee and drink it at our table. Unfortunately, the employee refused her this coffee because she was not allowed to have it at our table. Mind you, we had our table right next to the Sprüngli and she would have brought the dishes back herself. So unfortunately she left without coffee.

WOW the lady with blonde hair, about 30 years old, very cheeky and stressed. Absolutely rude. It's time to dismiss her with so many negative comments, it's absolutely incomprehensible that she's still there. Less make-up so that some air and daylight can come through might not be a bad idea. You're in the wrong business, a factory would be better where you don't have to see anyone

Anyone who loves chocolate also loves Sprüngli. I don't have to have this every day, but I'm not at the airport in Zurich that often and every now and then I treat myself to a sweet little something 😉

This place really catches your eye . It was however very busy so had to wait in line for a bit to get seated. Service was average, I would assume this had to do with the number of waiters catering to a huge crowd. Ordered the late machiato and chocolate cake - no complaints with it . If you prefer a quieter setting to enjoy your coffee consider a different place.

Just got bad experience from one young waitress plus cashier in the chocolate store, she’s very rude and stop me just because i take video for the chocolate that i bought inside the store. Such a bad experience and arrogant waitress!

Prices are too high despite the location, the staff is not really trained and tries to process every guest quickly, even if they want to stay seated! You clear away half-full drinks and try to free up space for the next ones... Sprüngli should consider whether this is really advertising!

The best cafe at Zurich Airport because they have a high quality delicious bakery 🧁 and cappuccino that tastes like a real coffee with a masterpiece decor. That worth of it if you want to have a pleasant time there. Friendly professional people.

Very unfriendly, had to wait 15 minutes for coffee and at the end there was no service at all. Very annoying

They would not let my son sit with the entire family in the sprungli café because he was eating a pretzel from a different store. It didn’t matter that my entire family was buying sprungli products, nor that i have a loyalty card for years. The waitress names Kokaj literally kicked us out of the cafe.

Really not representing what Sprungli is. A certain Mrs. S., attended me, in the most possible arrogant and disrespectful way. She even laughs at customers (!) They do not know well their job and are persuaded to be right (while laughing at you, and not in a figurative way). Go to the Hauptbahnof one or inside Zurich Airport if you travel. Sprungli clearly needs to consider re-training a few employees there...

Wanted a drink shortly before 9 p.m., didn't know the opening times. The waitress explained to me in a very defiant way Undertone that they are closed. That would also have been possible in a friendly way. Never again!

You are in Zurich, at the airport, so don't expect to pay little. Slice of chocolate cake and cappuccino, both very good, around €15

Very disappointed that a Swiss chocolatier, wanting to be of Quality, uses palm oil. Palm oil is used by manufacturers to replace cocoa butter which is more expensive. Prices are expensive at Sprüngli. Shame on you !

Were ignored by service for over 20 minutes and then left

Was asked to buy chocolate from this chocolatier in zurich airport in front of Migos which is indeed a beautiful shop and the chocolate looks mouthwatering. so I took a video on WhatsApp to ask my friend what she would like and I was told by the attendant it’s not nice to take a video. I apologized thinking it’s company policy not to have it reproduced which I would have understood but I was met with a sarcastic smile by the attendant who told me i videoed her and her friend. i still apologized, showed her the video which didn't include anyone other than the displayed chocolate and proceeded to delete the video to comply, still being met with a further sarcastic smile even after deletion. thanks for the experience. if i have to buy euro 36 for 20 pieces of chocolates please give me a worthwhile 2 min experience and maybe a genuine smile. It would work miracles 🤗🤗

Underwhelming experience, unfriendly service. Service staff more interested in talking to each other than serving clients. Will not go back for a bad and overpriced coffee. What a pity for Sprüngli. They could do a million time better.

it is a shame for the reputation of this Swiss store , a terrible Flatwhite coffee with the excuse that it was with oat milk , for an exorbitant price they could at least fill the cup that does not even reach the brim in content . Don't waste your time and money there, it's not worth it!

After the security check there is also a Sprüngli café. The waitresses are all very attentive and nice. I dropped my coffee and they brought me a new one without me having to ask! Thanks

I am a very regular customer of the brand, but nonetheless its unbelievable how bad the Sprüngli at the airport in front of migros is !! firstly the Truf Cake Schnitte is always bad and old, this time after 3 times of the bad cake when i decided to tell the sales lady, that Ive had a bad experience the last 3 times, she said " OH WELL, I HOPE ITS BETTER THIS TIME ", also they are most of the times which is 99% extremely rude at this particular branch, maybe also especially to the foreigners. Shady Sprüngli.

I tried their Macrons,it is one of best Macrons i tasted before.Mine favourite was pistachio flavoured and Bournbon Vanilla.Choclates were also so good

They served the order (roasted chicken bowl) in plastic pack. In Café. Charging +30% more than in shop. Good, they brought standard cutlery and glass cup (not plastic) with orange juice. Feeling, you are served in fast food.

I bought the new pistachio chocolate yesterday, took it with me to Poland and today it is already gone as it was sooo good! Love the pistachio milk chocolate, it was worth the high price! Also, the lady who sold it to me was super nice :)

I had to wait a long time for the flight to Vienna, the salmon canape looked so inviting that despite the price (it's at the upper limit even for Zurich) I ordered 2, plus iced tea, it was a wonderful snack... I also went to the attached pastry shop, Bonbonniere to put together yourself, simply delicious! The staff was very friendly, I was completely satisfied and I also experienced this feeling at the tables next to me.

Average quality. The bill was overcharged with respect to the price on the menu of what was actually ordered and no explaination was given.

Even though you order something there, you're not even allowed to consume small snacks brought from other stores - it doesn't make any sense. (I would understand if you didn't order anything)

Smashing sandwiches and treats. Sprungli is a staple in Zurich and Swiss also offers some of their products for sale on short haul flights. Good idea to pick em up early (although just like a franc more in plane). Upstairs has a space to sit down which is great for breakfast.

Swiss quality...not cheap but excellent chocolate.

Food is very good but very simple. Everything is already prepared. It wasn't that crowded and you had to wait in line to get in even if there were free tables. We had to ask over 3 times who was coming to take the order and it took a very long time. The food didn't come at the same time. Not necessarily recommended but the Luxemburgerli are very tasty.

Rude staff. The lady that was in the Cafe on the 17/07/2022 11:45 am REFUSED to serve me. I kindly asked if I could have a coffee and she said "NO, IT'S TOO BUSY".

Service is extreeeemly slow. Both times I was here within a week, I had to wait abt 10' to have my order picked up. Delivery was also slow. Not at all the experience Sprüngli wants to advertise.

A flat white oat for 8.80 ok, airport just. But it tasted like 1.80. Rarely have I had such bad coffee.

One of my favourite place to visit before flying back to Singapore. They have one of the best selection of chocolates and macaroons, especially the truffles du jour which is highly recommended 👍

Worse impossible!!! Terrible!!! Super rude attendants. I bought a croissant at the Sprungli store for my daughter, because the restaurant didn't have any left, and the very rude attendant said that my 3-year-old daughter couldn't eat the croissant there, bought at the store. I will never go back to any Sprungli, a lack of respect, as I had already done this before.... I threw the croissant away, we sat in another very pleasant café next door, and the best thing was, the coffee was not from a machine and The attendants were super attentive to my daughter!!!

Absolutely disgusting experience in this location. Being scolded and treated like a child because I dared to sit and place on their table a redbull can with 50ml of fluid left. Sorry this is absolutely horrendous and unacceptsble customer service. Is it in the training of the staff to be rude to the customers?

You pay 30 francs for a few chocolates, you ask for a bag... That's another 10 cents. Not what I expected.

We couldn't come in because we weren't vaccinated. Please check that out. Nobody sits on the chairs. In other restaurants in the transit area there is no 2G, very strange and incomprehensible to us. No more gifts from Sprüngli. We stay with Läderach! :)

Long wait for a normal (but expensive) sandwich

This Sprüngli had the largest selection of all the airport shops. It is opposite Migros in the airport shopping, and opt to the public. There are many chairs and there is table service.

Delicious fresh chocolate and macarons. Doesn't really matter what language you speak- just smile and point and you can walk out with some amazing stuff! I recommend the pralines and "Truffes du Jour"

While waiting for the plane to Italy I decide to make myself a coffee and a croissant... it would have been better to wait to arrive at any Italian kiosk! Coffee served cold since it remained on the counter for more than 7 minutes before bringing it to me and the croissant truly indescribable, inedible, inedible, not swallowable... all surrounded by a service that doesn't even look you in the face! I had entrusted myself to the brand convinced that I would not make a mistake and instead it was the biggest disappointment! Oh I forgot an espresso 5.30 Fr. (dirty water) and do we want to talk about the croissant..?!? instead cheaper 2.80 Fr. since it was probably from last week😂 Srüngli please do something you can't afford these M figures….
