I happened to be in the area shortly before 11 a.m. and since I usually don't eat breakfast, I was already quite hungry at that time and took the liberty of parking there and entering the really well-kept Coop restaurant. I found very friendly staff and a fantastic salad buffet just from the different colors that immediately changed my mind about wanting to eat something warm and I immediately went for the salad buffet. Everything was really ultra fresh and he had a southern touch with a lot of olive oil and probably not necessarily to everyone's taste but for me it was effectively more than perfect. I really like olive oil and southern food and it was exactly the right thing for me. I also added a sandwich that looked and tasted really appealing and the potato soup was so excellent that you would have loved to sit down for it! All in all, a very positive surprise for the fact that this is a restaurant that is attached to a shopping center and actually attracts people who don't have particularly high expectations. The whole ambience naturally also attracts people who just want to drink and the tables are generously placed so that you can talk a bit without everyone listening. Even though I'm definitely in the city of Lucerne most of the time and only came there by chance, I was definitely impressed by the quality so that I would happily make the trip there again to go there specifically to have something to eat!

Chef at the food counter very friendly. The plus point in the restaurant is the wall of books where you can help yourself and linger.

Not recommended. We ordered 2 nasi goreng and no chicken meat inside. We complain to the checkout and we get this answer: "ha ha, what do you want, whole chicken for these prices?" I would be without words. Never again.

Good shopping opportunities with a restaurant to eat and drink

The first time, with a coffee voucher. I received this at checkout after my purchase. Since I generally don't just get things for free, I also used a patisserie. The lady then naturally charged me for both and said that the voucher had not been deducted. OK. I just paid and threw the voucher away. It was only valid today. That's it for free coffee.😂😀
