My husband and I like to eat at the Coop Restaurant 2 to 3 times a week. I am always amazed by the huge selection of fresh vegetables and the wonderful salads, which are individually prepared every day with great and creative effort, seasoned and presented in a way that is appealing to the eye. The daily fresh soups, as well as the homemade fruit cakes and the patisserie are also recommended. You can feel the chef's great commitment and skill, which is missing when he is away. Because of him we became regulars.

The food was terrible as always. The rice had no rice taste and in the vegetables you can sometimes find something from another menu (old soggy French fries). I will never have lunch in this hole again and the meal (CHF 9.95) is worth at most CHF 5.00, if at all. The potato salad was great, probably because there was more cream (or whatever) on it than potatoes. I assume the food isn't particularly fresh either (at least it doesn't look or taste fresh either). The carrots were good, but you can tell that they probably weren't super fresh.
