A supermarket deli. Nothing to write home about

Whenever I go to Zurich I like to go to the Coop Restaurant. I also think the soup is very good. Good meeting place.

I arrived at the restaurant before 7.45pm and it was closed. What will the opening hours be like if the employees had everything tidy and clean in the restaurant area?

Very nice self-service restaurant. Staff friendly. If you want to go to the toilet you have to get a key at the checkout, that would still be possible, but you have to leave your ID. That's a bit strange

It's a little crowded, but it's an affordable option in the center of Zurich.

It was around 7 o'clock and there wasn't much food.

Great hot breakfast buffet… but unfortunately its always a gamble if they do it or not. Which is a shame

The Coop restaurant on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich is well located, very close to the station on the top floor of the building. Large choice of meat, vegetables, salad, suitable for vegetarians. Accessibility without problems for people with reduced mobility. Public transport passes in front.

Magnificent option for breakfast or lunch in the center of Zurich. Although it is located on the luxurious Bahnhofstrasse, the COOP restaurant offers affordable prices with a diverse menu to suit all tastes. The salad bar is very good and the stews go without saying. My favorite in the Viennese style Milanesa. You can also buy a small bottle of good Swiss wine. And if the weather permits, you can go out to a terrace, which, although narrow, has a view of several buildings.

Nice big space, you can find anything here. Also have Restaurant. I love shopping here. Most of my needs I always buy here.👍👍👍👍

Great value for money. It's very worth it

There is a cheap buffet restaurant on the top floor of a shopping mall. The price is very affordable and the taste is good. I highly recommend it.

Good morning, I would like to inform you that the chefs talk about the food while cooking, so they spit out salt while talking, since the grill is low, they would have to wear a mask. touching their face and hair without washing their hands. Secondly, if I ask a chef to please make me an entrecôte I ask you not to cover it so that it doesn't cook, otherwise I want to put it on the grill. But it seems that the chefs misunderstand this and are offended by comments that I am ignorant. .The cutlery is also very dirty. Please excuse the inconvenience

I ordered a Pizza last Monday,it was delicious but the cook was irritable because the dough always deformed

The food selection is rather limited, but cheap. But I tried a delicious muesli bowl. Tip: There are a few chairs and tables outside with a nice view.

Affordable prices and plenty of choices. However, the restaurant mainly serves lunch, and there are fewer dinner options.

It is an option to eat in Zurich. It is cheaper than eating at any restaurant. There are grill options such as fish, pork, meat with various accompaniments. A pasta and pizza section and a salad buffet. It is not by weight, you pay a stipulated price according to the dish chosen

Very spacious and bright. Fresh vegetables. Price a bit high because you have to serve yourself. The highlight was the pea soup with fresh peas. 💚

Can fill our plate as much as you can and pay is depending on the plate size. Juice, cakes and coffee are separately payable. It's worth. Restaurant got good seating capacity..

Very good food at more than fair Zurich prices.

Visited as tourists. It was a very nice visit. At the top floor of the Coop city supermarket building (accessible by lift, stairs or escalator) you will enter the Coop restaurant which offers a lot of nice food. The menu changes every day and offers international and local cuisine for a very good price. My wife ordered a thai curry with rice and tofu and I ordered a tuna steak which were perfect (especially the tuna steak!!!). The prices includes different side dishes. The restaurant relies on self service. You can also add/choose a salad and different kinds of desserts/sweets. They offer reduced prices when you combine different salads/drinks/desserts. There are a lot of seats so even during lunch times should be enough space.

Excellent food. There is a salad buffet and included is a good selection of hot food. To top it, separately priced Fresh juices, desserts and pizzas with a nice atmosphere.

It's like fast food..our house...on the 4th floor....went in to get something to eat, there were Thai people working there..so it looked warm and nice.

Switzerland is very expensive, some meals in tourist area restaurants starting at $60 for just an entree. The Coop is a department store, grocery store and many of them have a restaurant. The restaurant offers a buffet, individual meals, dessert bar, and salad bar. It has good seating in many of them. The prices are much lower than anywhere else. The food is excellent.

Poor choice of meals when we got there (around 15h). The food was ok, but did not meet the expectations we were hoping for when reading other reviews.

I have been a customer at the Coop Restaurant in Hinwil for years. A big compliment to Mr. Safaj and Mr. Berisha and the entire restaurant team, always friendly and helpful..Keep it up....

Good moderately priced food, try steak and a fruit plate for desert.

A big disappointment. We had various vegetables with fries. Hard beans, raw baked tomatoes, half-hard kohlrabi and overcooked broccoli. Poorly seasoned and full of butter, the vegetables can only be dreamed of. All the food wasn't warm. Espresso wasn't hot either. Pay so much for such bad food. An impudence. Never again!👎👎👎

Very pleasant department store restaurant with lots of space. Tends to be overcrowded at lunchtime, but otherwise a quiet oasis. There is even a spacious play area for children. I find it very well maintained and clean, except for the toilets, which are simply too small and are used by many older, very frail men with obvious prostate problems. In this single point, the Migros Restaurant City is worlds better, as the toilets there are much larger and the toilet cubicles are completely closed.

Had a yogurt bowl with berries and honey for 8 chf. Bit pricey but the ambience was casual and good. Recommend it for pastries/salad/fruit bowl.

The cashier was very friendly, unfortunately the skewer was only lukewarm, but the French fries tasted good.

Good restaurant in the middle of the city, where you can also have a quick coffee.

The restaurant at St.Annahof is probably older than anything else in the area. This history can be felt when you eat here. Otherwise, the offer is the usual standard as in all Coop restaurants. Good and cheap, what more could you want. Be careful, family friendly with a children's corner and sometimes loud children screaming...

This coop-Reschti is a gastronomic dream. The food always tastes very good, remains varied even with very regular visits and the eye always gets its money's worth here. The warm and cold buffets are beautifully prepared and attentively maintained every day. The cleanliness and the atmosphere in the restaurant are impressive. The staff is attentive and friendly. Because of my professional work in the field, I know numerous Coop restaurants throughout Switzerland and this ZH-Bhfstr is definitely one of the best!

The food is pretty good, but unfortunately (probably due to the space) it doesn't have as wide a selection as the Migros restaurant on Löwenplatz

Picked up TooGoodToGo at the restaurant tonight. I have done this several other times at other coop restaurants and have always asked if I could eat it in the dining area. It was never an issue in the past and staff have always said it’s fine to eat in the restaurant. We were yelled at by the woman working on the cash register and told we had to leave when we tried to sit down and eat our meal. Very rude service.

For being located in one of the most expensive areas of Zurich, the food was quite affordable, I recommend it 👉

Ideal place to have an affordable lunch in Zurich if you are venturing there for the day. A wide choice of warm dishes , salads, freshly baked sweet items , soups, choice of warm drinks and cold drinks. A large indoor seating area. I would however suggest you go a little before 12 lunchtime as many local businesses have lunch between 12-13:30 so it might be harder finding a place to sit. There are also toilets on the same floor as the restaurant. Afterwards you can do a bit of shopping and browsing. It is also very well situated from Zurich Hauptbahnhof/ main train station and close enough for a pleasant walk towards the lake after you have had a bite to eat or a warm coffee to warm you up if it’s in the winter months. Note it is a self service restaurant. So don’t sit down and expect someone to serve you. I’d suggest when you arrive , find a table. Put your belongings at the table (like a jacket) to reserve the place, grab a tray and then load up your plate, you pay at the tills, then after that you take your cutlery. There is also a ‘free water fountain’ in the restaurant which is brilliant if you just want a glass of water or to fill your own water bottle to continue your walking adventures after you have eaten.

Having never seen such a listless cook, the pre-cooked gordonbleu was slapped onto the hot plate/grill and within 1 minute onto a cold plate. And that's exactly how the shoe sole tasted. (I only had a 30 minute break, so I chose the self-service restaurant). NO MORE!!!!

A wonderful bistro where you know how much you will pay for the food and that you will definitely not get food poisoning. A very convenient place, a huge supermarket, where at average prices there is almost everything a city person needs.

Ideal for uncomplicated, quick and good food

The toilets are catastrophic. The staff is unmotivated and negative, not a good atmosphere.

Very nice selection of food and spacious. A major plus for me was the indoor playground, good to enjoy a coffee and cake while the little ones can occupy themselves for a while.

This was considered one of the valued and cheapest meal we had in swiss. And its Tasty! It goes by size and just use your puzzle skills to pile on what you wanted to eat. Smile at the cashier and eat! Plenty of seatings here too

The food is Coop standard. But the waitress at the checkout didn't greet me, look at me or say goodbye. She didn't even say how much it cost. She just pointed at the card terminal. That shouldn't be the case.

We ordered food from To Good to Go and went to get it from the Coop Restaurant. One employee didn't even know what To Good To Go was all about. Then we got the food, it was ice cold, outrageous!!! We had to pay a 10 franc deposit for the Tupperware and the employee said several times with complete conviction that we could return the Tupperware to ANY COOP BRANCH IN THE ENTIRE OF SWITZERLAND and get the 10 franc deposit back. We went to 4 different Coops and were just looked at strangely and sent on our way in an unfriendly manner, none of them even knew what To Good To Go was all about. never again, forever #Migroskind

This is a system where the price is determined by the size of the plate used. It is a style where you put your food on a plate yourself and take it to the cash register to pay. Some foods have separate prices (=additional charges). The taste is so-so. For people who aren't that obsessed with food. The plate is surprisingly small and cannot hold a lot of food, so the price may seem high. However, the location is great!

They always have the same things to eat, personally I ate very rarely. However, it's worth taking a look around, maybe I'm too used to always looking for new dishes.

Cheap and with a playground for kids

It was cheeky that they forced us to consume vegi. There were about 100 different salad dressings and all of them only vegi and when I asked the staff if there was also normal sauce, I was portrayed as stupid as if I couldn't read. But the food was good The Asian staff was very, very unfriendly.
