My son and I were new to camping and were there for one night and were very well informed by host Norbert about how to get there. There is a barrier and no mobile network on site, you have to organize this in advance. The single parking space is on the quiet side of the alpine hut, where the hotpot is also located. Even then, my cell phone only sporadically connected to the 4G or 5G network, but it was usually possible to make calls. Anyone looking for isolation from the cell phone network will be rewarded with a phenomenal view of the mountains. The short climb to the Sommet du Cousimbert also rewards you with incredible views on all sides. When we went to sleep, the hotpot fired by Norbert was at temperature and we were able to admire the starry sky from the pleasantly warm water and enjoy a drink. Norbert is a great host, even though he was very busy renovating the hut and there was also some "construction site flair" to be admired around the house. We enjoyed it very much!

This parking space for campers is simply breathtakingly beautiful. The host and the team are very friendly and accommodating. The food is very tasty and the view is simply fantastic. The hot tube was heated up especially for us. Everything is very warm and we felt very comfortable. Our dog was also welcome. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back.

So so worth the drive on wonderful gravelled roads from the main road . The views are sublime . The welcome warm and the food just what you want before / after walking here at 1500m + . Please try it - you will always remember it !
