Beautiful Restaurant in a nice area with a wonderful menu. I was here twice and it was always perfect cooked food. Also the cheese and the wine are perfect here. And especially in the summer times the outside area has a beautiful view. The Service is always great!

Family lunch in this beautiful, characteristic place, as a vegan option they served me a watermelon carpaccio with sesame and horseradish sauce, and a skewer of vegetable meat on a bed of sautéed vegetables, all divine. According to my fellow diners, all the other courses were excellent. Thoughtful service. Prices in line with local venues in the area.

I had dinner last night (5 August 2023) and the chef had prepared this spectacular watermelon carpaccio with rocket and parmesan flakes. With a very complex procedure the watermelon had the flavor and consistency of meat. Then a risotto out of this world. In short, the food was excellent, extremely kind and they even brought me a blanket because it was cool outside.

They recommended this restaurant for families with children. The play area was very neglected, not clean and unsafe (the roof of a small house was just resting on it). The food.... I struggled to define a taste, I couldn't understand what I was eating (summer lasagne). We were very disappointed. On the other hand the service was good, very friendly waiters.

Starting with the appetizer, mixed cheese platter, the 5 of us are brought 3 tiny pieces. We ask that you bring at least 5 so that we can all taste it, the answer is categorical NO because this is the cutting board. The chicken arrives, almost completely raw! I point it out and NO ONE DOES ANYTHING! Not even an apology or discount at the checkout (I later learned that this often happens with raw chicken). The only saving grace is the very friendly and nice waiter. I would never go back there again!

Typical Ticino cuisine and more! Exquisite dishes, plentiful and well cared for! Super friendly staff!! We ate Ticino cured meats with black bread, polenta with rabbit, luganighetta and braised meat to our heart's content but chef Claudi spoiled us by letting us taste the kid too! A unique and rare goodness presenting it that way! And to finish with an excellent American grape sorbet! Everything was excellent, we will definitely be back!

In my humble opinion the restaurant is a bit overrated. the cuisine for me did not live up to my expectations, at least for that evening. We ordered the typical menu: Braised meat good but nothing special, Polenta dry and not freshly cooked, Rabbit large and fat. The cold cuts (the lard in particular) and the risotto are certainly good. The place is cute, even the outdoor space is pleasant in summer. I honestly expect more from a Grotto.

I had dinner at the crotto dei Tigli with colleagues from the company I work for. The place is welcoming, the staff very friendly and patient. We chose the menu which included an appetizer of cold cuts, all of excellent quality and as the main course the saddle of venison which melted in the mouth, a true delicacy, very well cooked. The side dishes such as chestnuts, sprouts and mushrooms were also excellent. Finally, an American grape sorbet which I tasted for the first time and I must say that I was fully satisfied.

I recently ate in these Grottos, and I can't say I was satisfied, first of all they didn't check our green pass, the second is the dish... a polenta and mushrooms that you charge 28 francs for, I expect at least that the mushrooms taste like something and... that they are not yet frozen... Da quste parti alcuni ristoranti si sono organizzati per la Cassoeula e anche la busecca all milanese, tipici piatto ticinesi-lombardi. Quelle dei Tigli sono da cinematografo, Cassoeula concotenna, salsiccia, costine, verze, tutto cotto a lungo e molto gustoso; la busecca é un quadro impressionista, all' occhio e al gustoi. W chi si da da fare, alla lunga vince !

Uno dei migliori grotti della regione, se non il migliore. Ho pranzato parecchie volte in questo ristorante con amici o con la famiglia e siamo sempre rimasti soddisfatti. Cucina tipica regionale con un Tocco di originalità. A fine pasto, non fatevi mancare un dolce fatto in casa. Ne vale la pena.

In questo difficile periodo, per fortuna ci sono locali come il Grotto dei Tigli che ti offrono il take away.I piatti che abbiamo preso sono tutti esattamente come mangiati sul posto, quindi di qualità ottima. Stasera in particolare abbiamo optato per il filetto di toro assolutamente spettacolare. Cottura perfetta e carne tenerissima. Ottimi e già provati anche il risotto ai mirtilli e la polenta con la luganiga. Claudio è davvero uno Chef sopraffino e pure molto gentile e simpatico. Quindi, nell'attesa di poter tornare al Grotto di persona, continueremo a servirci del suo servizio da asporto.

Ho scoperto questo grottino un po' per caso su Instagram, ed avendomi incuriosito per la tipologia di cucina proposta, ho deciso di venirci con amici. Il locale è relativamente piccolo ma molto molto carino e tradizionale. I camerieri sono giovani ed anch'essi simpatici, gentili e disponibili. La carta come detto mi incuriosiva molto perché c'erano tante pietanze che non avevo mai o quasi mai assaggiato, inizialmente abbiamo preso un tagliere misto di salumi da condividere, devo dire che la qualità di tutti i salumi era ottima! In seguito ho proseguito con una tagliatela al ragù di fagiano, e anche questa molto buona e particolare. Come piatto principale mi sono lasciato consigliare dal cameriere ed ho preso un piatto fuori carta (entrecote di cervo). Devo ammettere che la carne non mi è stata servita cotta come l'avevo richiesta (ovvero al sangue) ma era una via di mezzo tra il sangue e cottura media, ma ho sorvolato perché comunque era buona e non volevo farla cambiare siccome anche i miei amici stavano già mangiando. Gli spatzli come contorno erano invece molto buoni e croccanti come piacciono a me. Infine come dessert ho preso una spuma al cioccolato, molto buona anche se devo ammettere che l'avrei preferita senza il sale maldon sopra. Abbiamo anche apprezzato infine che dopo la richiesta del conto ci è stato offerto un digestivo. Unica nota un po' stridente, è il fatto che nel prezzo ci siamo ritrovati il lardo che era presente nel tagliere, inizialmente non ci era stato detto che era a parte o in più. Anche qua abbiamo voluto sorvolare perché tutto sommato è stata una bella serata ed abbiamo mangiato bene. Consigliato!

In una bella serata di metà ottobre, tempo di rassegna, ho potuto assaggiare e godermi due bei piatti a base di selvaggina (tartare di cervo e entrecôte di cervo), il tutto accompagnato da un buon Merlot. Il crotto dei tigli rimane un posto dove ritornare. Servizio professionale, cortese e con i tempi giusti. Rapporto qualità prezzo secondo le attese. Da leccarsi i baffi (la tartare di cervo ottima).

Ho frequentato con soddisfazione questo Grotto per almeno quattro anni Di recente sono andato con un gruppo di tre colleghi per pranzare una bella giornata di sole i tavoli all’aperto tutti disponibili Nonostante fossi cliente da tempo Appena varco l’ingresso la signorina mi blocca e mi dice siamo pieni Le chiedo se è possibile star fuori e mi risponde no assolutamente non facciamo servizio all’esterno ( cosa che in genere fanno). Insomma va bene essere pieni però un po’ di savoir-faire e cortesia aiuterebbe con i clienti storici

Gentilmente concessa in modalità take away, abbiamo ordinato ad inizio settimana per venerdi sera. Ho preso il menu proposto a 65.- senza bevande.Se prendi il menu della rassegna gastronomica deve mettere in preventivo che probabilmente una portata non corrisponda ai tuoi gusti, in quanto piatti particolari.Niente di grave si sperimentano nuove proposte che possono piacere oppure no.Riassumendo Antipasto non mi ha entusiasmato ma fa parte di quei piatti particolari che vuoi provare.il primo Risotto giallo al cioccolato.Molto particolare ed abbastanza buono anche se la porzione non sarebbe bastata per mia figlia che non e' una mangiona.il secondo era filetto di cervo con gli spaetzli.Il filetto ok, ma niente di particolare e la quantita' il minimo sindacale ma tutto sommato ok. Gli spaetzli invece erano pessimi, freddi, secchi.Abbiamo chiesto un assaggio del porcellino e ci e' stato portato 2 porzioni, praticqamente 4 pezzi senza contorno che abbiamo pagato 84 chf.Risultato finale nettamente bocciato su tutto il fronte poi il rapporto prezzo qualita' non ha alcun senso. Mi aspettavo ben altro per il costo sostenuto.Locale che non mi vedra' piu.

Durante il lock down abbiamo usufruito del servizio di asporto, sempre di ottima qualità con una ottima organizzazione.Nel mese di settembre abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno rimanendo pienamente soddisfatti.Il personale è molto gentile, attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e preparato alle varie intolleranze alimentari, adatto per persone celiache.Cibo di ottima qualità. An unforgettable evening at the ZUMA Snack Bar & Lounge. For my 50th birthday party, I chose the ZUMA Snack Bar & Lounge and I couldn't have made a better choice. From the beginning, the owner, Matteo and the staff proved to be extremely friendly, helpful and participatory, helping to create a welcoming and festive atmosphere. The music, carefully selected and on request, fully satisfied the needs of all the guests, making the evening even more special. The location, with a spartan but incredibly engaging style, was the perfect stage for the celebration. We opted for an aperitif, during which we were able to enjoy a variety of culinary delights that delighted everyone's palate. The cake, in addition to being aesthetically appealing, was delicious. All the guests had a great time, and the evening was a success on all fronts. The ZUMA Snack Bar & Lounge helped make my fiftieth birthday a memorable event, which will remain etched in the memories of all those who attended.
