Very authentic and delicious cuisine, we have traveled a lot in India before and found the same flavors which made us travel again in this universe immensely rich in colors and tastes.

The food was very good. It was also spontaneously served a little earlier, which I, as an external service technician, really appreciated. Service Efficient and friendly. The ambience can be described as simple, but like the food, it is made with love. That's why I find it very pleasant and cozy. The kitchen also responded to the special request for spiciness without exaggerating.

Central and good. The other two restaurants are closed!

Very tasty, fresh and above all authentic Indian food. The whole thing is served in a rustic restaurant with a family atmosphere. With the large selection of curries with different levels of spiciness, there is definitely something for everyone. We were there for the first time but definitely not the last - the trip to Nuglar is worth it!

Freundliche Bedingung und Beratung. Das Essen wär lecker, auch unser Sohn (vier Jahre alt) hat es sehr genossen. Es gab auch Bücher und Spielautos. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen.

Währschafte, einfache bengalische Küche, der Koch kommt aus Bangladesh. Das Ehepaar wirtet in Nuklear seit 30 Jahren, immerhin.Feiner Curryduft, gut gewürzt, nette Auswahl an vegetarischen bzw. veganen Speisen, sehr grosse Hauptgang-Portionen, freundliche, persönliche Bedienung. Alles hat gepasst. Wir durften die "Leftovers" in einer hauseigenen Tragtasche mit nach Hause nehmen und konnten am anderen Tag nochmals eine reichliche Mahlzeit geniessen.Einzig gefehlt hat mir ein Gericht mit Paneer, dem Koch-Käse, der in indischen Restaurants oft mit Spinat angeboten wird. Das Restaurant Ist eben bengalisch, dort brauchen sie keinen Paneer, wie ich erfahren hab.Wir kommen gern ein anderes Mal wieder.

We visited this restaurant as fans of Indian cuisine. The waitress was apparently the chef's wife and proudly said that her husband still cooked "authentically". Our verdict is that - if what we were served was authentic - we feel very sorry for the Indian subcontinent. We chose different curries, all of which were a bit mushy and not very visually appealing. We chose rice as a side dish, as the bread was not baked in-house as an alternative. That in itself is absolutely insufficient if you don't get good flatbread in an Indian restaurant. The curries were mediocre to bland. The rice was really shocking! Simply inedible, we had an association of mouse poop on our tongues, we have never eaten such disgusting rice - or refrained from consuming it after trying it. Whatever the rest of the meal would have been - with this side dish everything would have been and was spoiled. How do they store their rice? Is it washed before cooking? Conclusion: If you would like to eat Indian food, there are much better, even good alternatives in the Basel area that are affordable.

Wir suchten als Freunde der indischen Küche dieses Restaurant auf. Die Bedienung war offenbar die Gattin des Koches und erzählte stolz, daß ihr Mann noch "authentisch" koche. Vorweggenommen sei unser Urteil, daß -wenn das was wir serviert bekamen authentisch war - uns der indische Subkontinent sehr leid tut. Wir wählten verschiedene Curries die alle etwas breiig und optisch nicht sehr ansprechend daherkamen. Als Beilagen wählten wir Reis, da das Brot als Alternative nicht im Hause selbstgebacken wurde. Das ist an sich schon absolut ungenügend wenn man im indischen Restaurant kein gutes Fladenbrot serviert bekommt. Die Curries waren mittelmässig bis fade. Wirklich erschreckend war der Reis! Einfach ungeniessbar, wir hatten eine Mäusekotassoziation auf der Zunge, wir haben noch niemals so ekelhaften Reis gegessen - bzw. nach dem Probieren vom weiteren Verzehr abgesehen. Wie immer der Rest des Essens gewesen wäre - mit dieser Beilage wäre und war alles verdorben. Wie lagern die ihren Reis? Wird er vor dem Kochen gewaschen? Fazit: Wenn sie gerne indisch speisen wollen gibt es im Basler Raum deutlich bessere, sogar gute Alternativen die bezahlbar sind.

Sehr gute, authentische Curries, hervorragend gewürzt. Grosse Portionen. Kompetenter, sympathischer Service. Faire Preise. Wir kommen wieder!

Best curry in the area. Really excellent flavours and perfectly presented. Be aware that they don't accept credit cards so bring sufficient cash with you.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Curry Hus, da es uns schon mehrmals empfohlen wurde wollten wir es gestern testen. Wir bestellten als Vorspeise den Shik Kebab und die Samosa, welche begleitet mit einem Salat mit Currysauce serviert wurden. Deie Vorspeisen waren gut, jedoch nichts aussergewöhnliches. Für den AHA-Effekt sorgte dann das servierte Curry, meine Begleitung bestellte das mildere Rindfleisch Curry Bhuna und ich nahm das Crevetten Curry Vindaloo, welches als "sehr scharf" angepriesen wurde. Nun ja, ich esse oft und gerne scharf ohne Probleme, doch das Curry Vindaloo liess meinen Mund brennen :-) Trotzdem war es nie eine unangenehme Schärfe und geschmacklich waren beide Currys sehr gut. Als Beilage bestellten wir normalen und Gewürzreise, Chapatti (Fladenbrot) und die Champignons Bhaji. Das Ambiente war ok, das Restaurant war nicht sehr modern eingerichtet, aber das Flair passt absolut zur indischen Küche. Der Koch ist aus Bangladesh und seine Frau, welche uns bediente erzählte uns, dass er wirklich noch authentisch scharf kocht, das konnte ich bestätigen. Alles in Allem sehr gute Adresse für ein feines Curry.
