The food, delicious: We had the tasting menu and you can choose between 3 or 4 courses. If you usually don’t eat much I recommend you to go for the 3-course menu as the portions are fulfilling. The service, excellent: many thanks to Roberto for assisting us during our dinner with his kindness and professionalism. Also our warmest regards to Sergio. The location, magical: the restaurant inside is beautiful but outside it is a dream. Quality-Price, worth it: this place is perfect for special occasions and for those who are looking to make a beautiful surprise to someone special. There is also free parking for the guests in front of the restaurant. Highly recommended - we will come back. Hopefully real soon!

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Da Enzo. We were warmly welcomed and given a beautiful table. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. We were able to easily adapt the menu to our wishes. The food at Da Enzo, whether for lunch or dinner, is always at the highest level and for us one of the best you can get in Ticino. The interior, the beautiful garden with the art - a real oasis of well-being. The overall concept is just right here - the audience is accordingly. Thank you very much for a particularly lovely evening - we would love to come back.

Extraordinary restaurant in an idyllic location. Pretty table under a stone arch. There are 2 hotel rooms and we slept in the one on the ground floor. Very good comfort and super pretty bathroom, original and typical of the region. The dishes offered were just perfect and the staff took great care. The breakfast is just top notch. Nothing negative, too bad we live so far away! To recommend without hesitation. Many thanks again for everything!

Really disappointing, none of the dishes were original or particularly tasteful. No creativity, but completely exorbitant prices for burnt, dry chicken or boring saddle of veal. We also had to wait over an hour for the main course.

The atmosphere is unique. The service staff very attentive. The wine list leaves little to be desired. And all of this is rounded off by the wonderful food that we were able to enjoy!! A visit to Da Enzo is always a highlight.

We were there with friends yesterday. We were greeted warmly and seated at a nice table. The service was attentive and friendly. The food corresponds to the higher culinary art. Unfortunately the sequence was a bit too quick. Points deducted: the mineral water served had moldy labels. When I mentioned this, the boss said it was because of the damp basement and could simply wipe it off, which he did right in front of me. Anyone who knows anything about fine dining knows that this is not possible and is extremely unpleasant for the customer. You even get the impression that you are completely wrong.

The restaurant was amazing! Had an amazing steak that was so tender and perfectly cooked plus an appetizer of ravioli which was also excellent. The service was very good as well the lady who served our table was amazing and the view was lovely. It is pricey, expect to pay 70+ CFH per person but worth it!

Ambiance is great. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. The breading / frying of my eggplant tart was not crispy, but seemed stale and not fresh. Unfortunately, the puff pastry cake wasn't good either because it was swimming in a sauce and the dough became so soggy. The stars have probably gone out a bit

We only ate at ‘Da Enzo’. Beautiful location. Unfortunately, none of the four courses of the degu menu were able to meet the (high) ratings. It's a shame - with 16 GM points we have eaten much more sophisticatedly...

Super nice restaurant and great food. Spending a summer evening on this terrace is a dream. Even those who don't come with a Porsche and an expensive suit will be served politely and courteously.

We loved this restaurant with elegantly authentic atmosphere, delicious gourmet dishes and friendly service. They kept our table until late even though it was slightly after service time. Risotto, fish, meat, tiramisu were all delicious. Breads are so fresh and nice! Wine choice was perfect. Decoration is elegant yet authentic. Just beautiful, we’ll be back to enjoy the terrace.

Table reserved over 2 weeks ago, restaurant called me today to reconfirm (which is what we did)... showed up, no table available... maybe in 20 minutes (???!!)... employee explained that more people had shown up (Hello ?What do you make reservations for here?)...we have been guests of da Enzo for many years...after today: that's it!!

Just unbelievable! The rooms are beautifully romantic. The breakfast is simply unique. Hats off! The dinner, from A to Z, was simply brilliant. We will be back!

The location is in an incredibly fascinating place, right in front of a rock. If you go up the stairs you will see three niches - fantastically beautiful. It was warm there, but we preferred to eat in the restaurant. It looked very beautiful, noble and romantic there too. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. The son even said jokingly: Too attentive. As soon as he finished the glass, the lady immediately refilled it for him. We liked the Peugeot salt and pepper shakers so much that we ordered them straight away. Thank you for the wonderful last evening of the autumn break at Da Enzo.

Da Enzo is of course not a “grotto” or any country pub. A noble restaurant in a beautiful garden. Here the “80-year-old Bentley driver” meets the “wandering bank manager”. The quality of the food and the attentive service definitely correspond to the prices. In terms of ambience, I can only judge the interior area in the evening and it is very civilized (for most guests here, this is certainly exactly what they are looking for). The exuberant atmosphere takes place on the plate and in the wine glass. World class.

Fine cuisine, attentive service and first-class wines. That was a dinner of a very high standard. Not exactly cheap, but quite reasonable. Unfortunately it was too wet and too late in the year for the garden and the grottos, but we will be happy to come back.

The food is good. For the high price level you would expect impeccable service - but the experience was more reminiscent of a tourist trap: the wine glass was filled three times without being asked before the first sip, no explanation of the menu or the wine was given despite asking and orders were forgotten.

Nice location, decent food, service unfortunately careless and poor. For example, empty plates were already cleared away during the meal, champagne and white wine were always poured very aggressively to the brim at the beginning and then had to be cleared away half full, so it is reasonable to assume that a high turnover was to be achieved. There were also flippant comments from the waiter (guest: “What kind of wine is that?” Answer: “A wine made from grapes.” Waiter leaves the table.) Price-performance ratio was definitely not right for our meal with 21 people. The managing director also responded to corresponding feedback in an extremely arrogant manner or dismissed it with defiant accusations. Very unsympathetic.

The only disadvantage: spontaneous visits are impossible. a table reservation is far in advance Unfortunately, advance notice is necessary unless you are a regular guest. It's also worth getting there early because parking spaces are limited.

Unfortunately not at all satisfied. At the first table, water dripped on my head. Afterwards we would be relocated at our request. Unfortunately it wasn't any better, the whole table was full of ants. We left immediately without eating anything. I find this completely unacceptable at such a price range.

Very nice terrace with natural shade. We ordered the anniversary menu. It tasted good and was perfect after our short hike. A little overpriced, but still okay. Nice attentive service who spoke German.

What more can you say! Enzo has been top of the top at Locarnese for years. I lived in Minusio for over 7 years and was a regular guest at Enzo + Josi. Last Saturday I went to ENZO again for a long time to celebrate my beloved sister's 70th birthday in a warm and welcoming environment. It was a really nice evening (I didn't expect anything else), the culinary was as always at its best, the service was very attentive and friendly - AND ENZO was personally there that evening - what more could you want? Very good food without any negative criticism. For me personally, the wine list is too foreign for a grotto and the Swiss wines and Ticino wines are not exclusive enough. But as we all know, everything is a matter of taste. Gladly again...

As always, everything was perfect and with the perfect weather we had, it felt like paradise in the garden. Quiet, idyllic and the food, as always, is top notch. Hello, presto :)

Great restaurant highly recommended! I visited it with friends in July 2021. Ambiance: Great ambience, especially the terrace is a dream. At the permanently installed tables for 8, things can get tight when they are full. They are also not ideal to use. Staff: very friendly, attentive and accommodating. German, Italian or English no problem. Food: awesome, high standard. Unfortunately, the kitchen crew didn't get to the point of the meat. Prices: Are high but reasonable. There is also a very fair daily menu. Conclusion: Gladly again at any time. 1 star deduction for the tight seating, the cooking point not being met, and the simultaneous serving would be desirable at this high level and you should avoid advertising on the tarte flambée boards.
