Small, lovingly run café with a fine selection of drinks and food. The café operates symbiotically with the boutique next door. So you can browse colorful fashion accessories while enjoying a coffee. Great concept!

A great starting point for a city tour of Basel. The owner is super nice, attentive and friendly (deserves an extra star for that alone). The coffee is absolutely delicious! The range of small delicacies is great and freshly prepared every day!

Double shop! Double pleasure! Antoinette and Daniels Lab. Magnificent silks, linens, jewelry and fashion on one side and excellent sandwiches, pastries, coffees and teas The other. The bosses are charming! Not to be missed during your stay in Basel!

This small, charming café is an asset to Basel!!! A shop-in-shop, if you like, can browse through fashion and accessories right next door. We ordered outstanding sandwiches: organic spelled fougasse, creamy and delicately topped with sweet potato, zucchini, homemade pesto, one of them with Italian sausage. Then buttery tartlets, I had an intense lemon cream accompanied by ripe, aromatic raspberries and pistachios. The tea was from Mariage Frères from Paris, my favorite. Coffee from Colombia, mild, aromatic and nutty at the same time. A latte macchiato was served at the next table, it looked like it was painted. All served with love. You sit comfortably on a terrace in the middle of Basel, surrounded by original design and beautiful old houses.

I recently enjoyed a delicious goat cheese and honey sandwich from Dan's Lab. Not only is the food really tasty, but Daniel is a wonderful host, who brightens every day with his warm smile. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Basel!

Came across this sweet cafe by accident - what a find! Delicious coffee and lots of vegan options (gipfeli, sandwiches etc). The pumpkin sandwich was probably the best sandwich we've ever had!! The store connected to the cafe also had lots of high quality Basel-inspired gifts such as posters, prints, and postcards. They also sold some stylish/artistic items such as jewelery and candles that would make great gifts for friends and family. Definitely recommend checking out this store/cafe if you're in Basel!

It has been tough to find the right café in Basel, but this new one is hitting all of the right marks. Super local, friendly feel, proper cappuccino, flaky pastries, and even some more decadent desserts if you’re feeling cheeky. But the sandwiches are my favorite: goat cheese with figs, honey, and handmade almond pesto for example. Definitely worth a try!
