David Gym ZH-West in Schlieren

David Gym is hands down one of the best gyms I've used, I absolutely love this place when I visit Zurich. It's big, it has all the right equipment, and the atmosphere is welcoming, professional, and encouraging. Staff are amazing, friendly and will go above and beyond. It's easily accessible by public transport. A comprehensive shop and bistro with tasty food rounds out a fitness one stop shop for the enthusiast. Highly recommend!

Rarely have I seen such a well-ventilated, large and clean gym in Zurich or the surrounding area. Because the gym is so large, it isn't overcrowded during peak times during the week, you don't have to wait in line for equipment and therefore don't waste time training. At the same time, given what is included in the price, no other gym can beat the offer. In summer it is not stuffy at all compared to other gyms, which makes training in midsummer a joy. The staff as well as the managing director Kathi Fleig are very customer friendly and attach great importance to the well-being of the customers, which is unfortunately very rare in the Zurich area. Never seen any defects or defective devices. I can only recommend the gym to everyone!

The gym is good, but... the pedestrian entrance is dangerous, there are no signs, the cars pass quickly and aggressively, they should change the pedestrian entrance, or they should not allow cars to park in the alley and mark an exclusive path for pedestrians on the ground adding car bumpers

The best studio, world-class equipment (unique equipment, sauna, solarium, bistro, rest area), staff, music, etc. the feeling and everything else is just right. Modern and at the same time an old school feeling.

We have been in this gym for almost 10 months and we are delighted. It has many machines of all kinds, it is very spacious and above all, the employees are very pleasant.

One of the best fitness studios for training, but I can only give it 2 stars because the employees and the owner have no decency to properly greet you. For the price-performance ratio you would expect a little hello or good day! Otherwise top studio and always clean.

Best gym in the world!!! There are a lot of great gyms (especially in America). As a professional athlete, I know some good spots, but hands down none are as complete and spacious as David's. Martial arts, fitness, bodybuilding, functional, group fitness, wellness with 2 saunas! The complete chest and back HammerStrength plate loaded range is available here. A sprint track! Extra leg area with so many variations possibility. Professional ELEIKO equipment (Olympic bars, safety squat etc. etc.) Tools and handles in every variation. Stretch station etc. There is simply everything here, including in the cardio area. Great, competent team and specialists for every focus.

Supper fitness has never been so big and seen various things. Anyone who doesn't have motivation will never find it.

TOP gym with large, high rooms and the latest life fitness and hammer strength equipment. friendly and competent fitness trainers and employees. Snack bar, sauna, underground car park etc. what more could you want?

Very spacious, most of what you are looking is there. Great bar and hang out area to get refuelled. Especially good if you want to put on more weight. Extra room for martial arts and a boxing ring.

For me the best gym in Zurich. For all. No matter if you are an athlete or if you just want to stay fit. Great equipment, well-trained staff. A boss who is committed to sport. I'm away from Migros. Migros should finally concentrate on its core business.

I trained at David Gym for years. For a while the overall package suited me really well (old Letzigraben location). As a “normal fitness center customer” I then switched to Migros Fitnesspark (the main reasons were accessibility/location and the wellness offering). If I were still a member today, I would cancel now at the latest because the center's attitude towards dealing with Covid 19 (certificate requirement) is not acceptable to me personally.

Very large and modern gym. Lots of good machines for pretty much all muscle groups. Very competent trainers who show you the exercises very well and give tips on general nutrition and workouts. The gym is highly recommended for young and older people :)

The best fitness and weight hall in Switzerland. Probably even beyond national borders! There are no members there - just family! The David Gym with its 3 locations was my second home for almost 10 years! If I didn't live so far away and wouldn't be so busy with my job - I would be there all my life! I'm a little "too normal" for this gym. But I only took one course, so it's not that relevant.

It's the Mecca of bodybuilding and fitness, in addition to having a boxing ring inside this immense structure! All the machines you dreamed of for training are there! Super well maintained, perfect cleanliness! Small shop selling food supplements and fitness clothing also available next to the reception bar. The classrooms are big! Wardrobe too :-). Large lounge area and high chairs for having a coffee. I recommend!

What can I say about the David Gym... the cool atmosphere in the gym is somehow indescribable!!! From family to friendly. From hobby athletes to professional athletes. From boxers to kickboxers. You can find everything here. The club is very clean. And has everything from the bar to the lounge to talk to friends or training colleagues after or before training, etc. The whole team is also great. They are not university graduates who only learned it on paper. But people with experience, lots of experience!! Even ex-professional athletes or athletes are on the team. Very large fitness center, with its own ambience like a factory hall. You have to like it, I didn't feel very comfortable there. Friendly staff. Spacious cloakrooms. Nice wet zone area. Well-equipped course room. A top-equipped center for everyone who is primarily focused on strength training and martial arts.

Best and largest gym in Switzerland. Largest selection of Hammer Strength devices. Focus on strength training and bodybuilding, no dudelü and housewife gym. Motivated and expert staff.

Top gym, very large approx. 4000m2. Equipment is all hammer strength. Very high ceiling. Large martial arts dojo available. Many punching bags are available. Various courses included in the price including martial arts.

Good equipment for training. Poorly ventilated rooms.

You can tell straight away that there is someone with passion here. A lot of effort goes into this gym! Personally, I also think the cleanliness is worth mentioning, especially when you compare it to some other gyms. I have been at the David Gym for about 1 1/2 years and felt comfortable right from the start. All childcare employees are also very kind and take great care of you so that you can train in peace. That's the most important point for moms in a gym :-) Another point that I think is really great are the opening times. This is how you, as a mom with shift work, can make it to the gym regularly😎 Now there is also the new equipment in the gym. Absolutely recommended 😊💪

Price is at the upper limit. The competence and friendliness of the employees seem to vary greatly. The hygiene, at least in the men's wardrobe, often seems to me to be poor. Also noticed internal conflicts in the team. The gym's facilities are top notch.

One of the best gyms in the greater Zurich area. Very pleasant atmosphere, top selection of equipment and extremely friendly staff. Very long opening hours and easy to reach. My recommendation: pistachio protein shake with banana and orange juice!
