Unfortunately, Winterthur doesn't have enough old town cafes with indoor seating on Mondays. Outside in the summer is ok. but unfortunately not in cold winds.

I am a regular customer. The Bircher muesli is legendary, a new joy every morning and there is better coffee nowhere. Just the right thing in the morning with the best baked goods, fresh and varied.

There are lots of creative baked goods and breads here, all professionally made. Particularly worth mentioning are croissants and butter braids. I like to travel a longer distance for the light and dark spelled bread. You can taste that it is made by hand and with love. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Very nice shop with outdoor space and indoor seating, with a clear selection of bread and rolls for every taste. If you have the choice, you will be spoiled for choosing one or more delicious pastries. My almond macaroon tasted excellent, fluffy and soft, which was testament to its freshness. Hearty, cleverly decorated dishes are also waiting in the display case to be sold to hungry customers by the friendly salespeople. All in all, highly recommended, especially the cappuccino was as it should be.

I enjoyed a latte and a Berliner in the restaurant last week - it was very tasty. I then bought a 500g braid. I think the price of CHF 9.10 is too high, even though the plait tasted good. I'd love to come back to Resti, but next time I'll skip the plait ;-)

Baked goods such as cinnamon rolls are sold here for a price per gram. In other words, every cinnamon roll is weighed before it is sold. I don't think it's good. There was another child behind the counter who was messing around. We then quickly left the restaurant. A quick search on Google revealed that the owner is a political extreme. As a big fan of Beck's daughter "Wood Oven" (5 stars), I am very disappointed: the pizza doesn't do justice to this good bakery: - she was almost cold, - super expensive, - fatty, cheap mozzarella, - dough like a frozen pizza, - 3 small pieces of salami on top. That's why, unfortunately, according to my scale 2 stars: the food was bad but I didn't feel sick afterwards.

As a bread lover, I couldn't resist when a round, darkly baked bread caught my eye in the shop window recently. The friendly salesman explained to me with great enthusiasm how this bread is baked. And really, the bread is amazing and a delight. You can tell that real craftsmanship is still practiced in this company.
