Fantastic place outside Lugano to have a very special dinner experience. So far my highlight in 2024. The vegis are in the centre of the dinner menu and they are fantastically prepared with an unbelievable creativity!

An excellent restaurant… Intimate, the internal room and the external part are simple and with few tables. The staff is knowledgeable and kind, the chef is excellent and attentive to all guests. During the evening he makes sure that everything is proceeding as best as possible. There is always a fixed menu with multiple courses, you can pair them with glasses of wine selected by them, or choose directly from the wine list. The dishes are really good and carefully prepared, the flavors are refined, the waiters explain the ingredients of each course in detail. If there are needs, like me who am vegetarian, intolerances, allergies or other... they will adapt the menu without problems. It's definitely not the cheapest, but the experience is worth it, also perfect for special occasions.

I have never eaten so much vegetables in a single meal in my life but I assure you that the compositions, with the refined flavours, make you forget your normal habits. I was definitely positively impressed. Colorful and well presented dishes, the service was excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant. The quality/price ratio is good for this type of restaurant. It will already be the fourth time we go. And I'm surprised I've never reviewed this restaurant. What can I say… top of the top. Mercedes and Piero are really kind and friendly. The service is friendly and cheerful. The food is excellent and always cared for both in appearance and taste, but also attentive to seasonality and kilometres. Prices are certainly high, but they are absolutely worth what you eat. It's not just good food, but a fantastic experience to live.

Refined 5-course evening menu, very good and well presented. Maximum flexibility even in case of allergies, intolerances and preferences for some ingredients. The kindness is genuine and total. A place to return to with your eyes closed.

Pietro and Mercedes are young, creative, all about quality, freshness (possibly local), a real breath of fresh air in the quite traditional gastronomic landscape of Ticino. One runs the kitchen, the other the dalle. The restaurant sits less than 20 guests, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation. So here we go with a tasting menu that focus on seasonal products that is predominantly vegetarian, looking to preserve freshness and quality. Started with a creamy and crunchy cauliflower variation, marinated truffle egg yolk. It was simply delicious! The cauliflower was so silky, pitch perfect and well balanced with the egg yolk. Next followed a pumpkin confit, with goosefoot and nettle cream and a goat fresh cheese. I was surprised by how wonderfully tasty the pumpkin was, an ideal compagnon for the delicate goat cheese. Followed by a lake Ceresio pikeperch bamboo steamed with leek and poplar mushrooms. Another great dish, I particularly appreciate the use of poplar mushrooms, which are not very popular in most restaurants, and the local fish. Then we had a wonderful purple eggplant with a juicy rumpsteak beef. I truly enjoy the ingredients and the simplicity of it. We finished with a great dessert, a infused apple with white chocolate and matcha tea, unexpected and yet I could found a lovely balance between the sweetness, bitterness and acidity. The red wire follows through also with their wine selection, leaning to the natural ones. We loved the experience and we will be back for sure!
