Unfortunately I was alone and I couldn't be served. There are a lot of groups here and I didn't have the right to eat something for lunch. I was right when I felt discriminated against.

I ask if we can pay by card or if they prefer... not even time to finish the question, I am told that I can leave without paying in an angry tone because the card is from 10 balls. I had the cash, but they almost kicked me out for asking... Appalling. As a result, the little express at 4.50 paid in cash stuck in my throat for the rest of the morning. We can get up on the wrong foot, I'm not saying, but for the family meal next time, it's done.

Beautiful restaurant located at the top of the gorges and next to the Frinvillier / Taubenloch station. We went there at the end of our Taubenloch Gorge hike. Homemade iced tea is excellent and even more enjoyable at the end of the hike. We weren't able to stay and eat there but we'd be happy to do so next time.

A very nice destination in Biel. The hike through the gorge is very impressive. The restaurant has a beautiful garden, unfortunately after half a beer it started to rain. But the restaurant is also beautiful and well-kept inside. The service was extremely friendly and delivered the delicious food quickly. Thank you very much.

Simple hotel. Shower and running water in the hallway. Ideal for hiking, located directly on the Taubenlochschlucht.

Was very pleasant. You think it's closed, but at the back of the garden there's a nice place under the trees.

We celebrated our summer wedding at Des Gorges. It was simply wonderful - even better than we had imagined. Juri responded to all of our wishes and implemented everything the way we wanted it. The terrace with the garden is very beautiful and extremely comfortable. You can have a good time under the beautiful trees. The staff were very warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. Even after it rained briefly, they immediately replaced and polished everything. The food was great and everyone praised it. We also used the disco room to dance. We were free to decorate everything however we wanted. All in all a perfect celebration! Many thanks to the entire staff!

We give 5 stars all by ourselves for the super nice service called "Chrige". We received a very friendly welcome from her and were allowed to sit at a small table in the shade by the stable. Chrige... you're great... stay like you are🤘🥳🙏 But when we left, there was another server standing there at the exit with short gray hair and dressed in black... she stood there like a captain in the military, stretched out her arm and pointed us to the exit... without saying goodbye or thanking you ... it's a shame that you have to work so unmotivated. But we'll be back... Chrige🤘🤗

I can't judge the rooms, but it's always a pleasure to "stop" there. Especially outside, everything is kept simple and natural. The planting seems a bit wild and random. And that's exactly what has a calming effect. It's wonderfully refreshing up there, especially in hot weather, The culinary offerings are top notch and the service is also warm, funny and friendly. Thanks :-)

We were served very warmly in the garden restaurant and we really enjoyed the food. There was a big bowl of water for our three dogs...we'll be back😊

Unwelcome upon our arrival, the staff clearly kicked us out after having been seated for barely 10 minutes, without forgetting of course to cash us out first. A first round from one of the waitresses to tell us that the toilets were closing soon because I quote "I will clean them soon" was only the first part of a moment which promised to be pleasant but spoiled by unacceptable service. We won't come back again. We left with the impression of having been in a bad highway bui-bui, A JOKE.

We were there on Saturday, May 3rd, 23 at around 2 p.m. unfortunately they didn't think it was necessary to serve us. The older woman with her federal carnival costume had us in visual contact several times but didn't feel like serving or even greeting us. We left and won't be there go more

Very arrogant boss who completely escalated a simple request. They don't seem to need guests, so they give this restaurant a wide berth. I don't know what the boss has, but it's certainly difficult to pronounce.

Yes, don't call! I've never been treated like that before... I only made a friendly, definitely short-term request... I wrote an email in advance... which apparently didn't arrive... A friendly rejection would be absolutely fine if I had been understanding. But not like that!

We are almost shocked by the unfriendly service. What are such condescending and snippy staff doing in such an idyllic place??? It's a shame... and expensive too. 4.-- for tap water even though we all consumed it?? Luckily there are other inns.

A delightful surprise to find out this restaurant on our hiking trail. A bit popular as it’s the only one there, looks like quite a few returning guests; to play safe make reservation. Authentic yummy dishes at reasonable price. Don’t have enough time for dessert, but both homemade icecream & cakes look super tempting by observing what’s been served on neighbour table

We were there again this week. Highly Recommended. Such a lovely service who also thought of our dogs. Great atmosphere, inside and outside. Great selection of food. We will be back.

We came in a group of 10 people plus (small) children, which wasn't a problem at all. Very friendly service, quick and the food was honest and good. Just the thing after the hike through the Taubenlochschlucht! The garden is great when the weather is nice.

Unfortunately not nice condition! I wanted to sit in the sun and drink coffee. I was told that the table is big and I have to sit at the small table. Then I asked if I could sit at another table and the answer was yes but the other waiter told me that it wasn't possible! In addition, the cappuccino doesn't taste good. The café wasn't full, so I was able to drink coffee in the sun without any problem.

Very pretty corner of nature with a walk in the gorges, refreshing in this hot weather. Very good value for money, staff a little stressed in sunny weather, but stay cool and they will be very pleasant to you.

Super restaurant with large shaded terrace on the menu fish meat starters super desserts the waiter is excellent in his job despite the storm where the whole terrace took refuge inside he managed the situation impeccably apart from the meat and fish there are many other interesting things but there were 5 of us and a baby fortunately we had reserved well done to this restaurant

Idyllic location, large restaurant terrace with beautiful trees to sit outside. A wonderful place to stop after a hike over the Bözingenberg. The reward was a delicious chocolate cake with coffee with milk. Then down through the Tubeloch Gorge to round off the day.

Very nice place, you can hear the river flowing, at least one vegetarian and vegan choice. Reduced menu, but with at least one meat and one fish. Possibility of parking right in front if you don't want to walk too long.

Food was okay, but the service was very slow. The staffs were friendly nevertheless. Price-wise, a bit on the pricey side.
