Very friendly service and delicious pastry products, the wood-fired bread is also highly recommended!

I have to get used to what you spend on a sandwich and/or a slice of cake. But that's with everything in Switzerland. Otherwise good stuff.

Unfortunately, it's increasingly disappointing: prices are high, Büürli feel like they're getting smaller and friendly service is a matter of luck...it's a shame.

It has become very, very expensive, 4 wood-fired püürli for CHF 1.75 each, very fine, but only half as big as before. 1 cream roll and a strawberry tart, only base and strawberries without vanilla cream, for CHF 8.50 plus box for CHF 0.50.

The Bürli have become more expensive, but smaller. We bought 2 pieces today, hard and not edible. And that for 3.50 CHF. It didn't used to be cheap either, but it was good and big. Every gas station makes better bread. A pity.

The patisserie plus the wood-fired ovens are still a dream. I was a customer there as a child. But the coffee, very impersonal and cold (has a bit of a grubby touch and is also self-service) and the toilets (not clean, no paper towels for drying your hands) leave a lot to be desired. Due to self-service/collection, people queue all the way to Kafi. There was a saleswoman responsible for the bread etc. and also for dispensing drinks. She then really had to step on the gas, you almost felt sorry for her. Every time we visit this Kafi, it can be months in between since we're not from there...everything is in even worse condition. It's a shame!

The Bürli is fantastic. Even if the friendly service is criticized, one must not forget: Just as you call into the forest, it will come back. I'll definitely come back.

Top products! Very fine bread - Bürli bread highly recommended. Cake is great too! We shopped here for the first time today and will be happy to travel a few minutes more from Ermatingen in the future to shop there. Everything tastes much better to us than the products from the bakeries in the Ermatingen area.

One of the best bakeries between Zug, Zurich and Kreuzlingen. The wood-fired bread is simply great, the focaccia heavenly and the strudel cakes are simply great. There is no skimping on ingredients here, this Becker knows his craft.

Went to the Meier bakery today and bought the Bürli wood-burning oven. Was served very friendly. It had a large and beautiful selection of breads and cakes and sweets. The store is simply designed, you won't find anything like that in the city anymore. (Everything is being modernized to death) It's nice that something like this still exists. My motorcycle tour was well worth it. Let's hope that a business like this stays around for a long time. I'd love to come back.

It's a pity no condition, plastic and eco-friendly dishes (hope it's at least disposed of that way) I couldn't eat the strawberry tart with this plastic fork, it was way too hard. When asked by the waitress in the store there was only a flippant answer. Positively the cappuccino 😊unfortunately also in the paper cup to goo mentality

Bread and rolls are of excellent quality. There is also pure spelled bread. Unfortunately, no vegan cakes or sweet pastries are available. In my opinion, coffee still has potential to grow.

Best Beck on the lake! 1a Berliner, bread, Bürli...

For years I have been getting the Super Holzofenbürli whenever possible. Today I bought strawberry tarts that don't deserve the name. On the packaging it says fresh, specifically, that's what they were, the berries were tarnished and the bottom was completely soaked, simply anything but fresh I'm from the generation that doesn't throw everything away, but I think it would be appropriate to offer the goods at a reduced price. I'm happy to pay a little more, but I expect fresh products for the extra price.

Terrible! Unfriendly employees, I was there three times and three times there was no choice left at 12:30. You almost fall asleep watching the workers. Really disappointing...

Good bakery and of course also pastry shop, fine products and friendly service. What more could you want, the Bürli wood-fired ovens are definitely awesome and recommended and the same applies to the cream cake. Try it, it's worth it.

Salad and “meat kääsbrötli” as well as coffee were top notch. The focaccia bread was rubbery and the service was unfriendly. She also said that there was nothing warm to eat at 1:30 p.m., even though the menu said until 2 p.m.

Excellent baked goods. Very nice saleswoman. Definitely try the wood-fired bürli. There is also a cafe section for seating and from what I have seen a small selection of food for lunch.

Very friendly, own roastery, small breakfast consists of 3 rolls of your choice plus a large drink for 10 a.m. With the great selection of rolls, great value for money (spelt, nuts, lye and much more) as well as jam. The additional espresso and almond stick were also very good. Espresso with crema, nice and crunchy almond sticks.

The best Bürli but totally unmotivated service in the café. Unsatisfactory for the second time! A pity! They also live off the tourists and probably don't need it that much anymore!

The cappuccino was a very small cup, the carrot cake was pretty dry and the whole thing was pretty hefty for €9.00, I don't have to have that anymore.

The Meier bakery is a traditional company on the Untersee and in Thurgau. Absolutely top bakery with very good own creations. The converted guest part, simply very beautiful. Family run and with a friendly character. The own coffee roastery is gigantic. WEBSHOP!!!!!

Your products are very good. As already mentioned, the operation is not really satisfactory. The long-handled coffee spoon had a piece of paper stuck to the back. When we got a new one at the counter, we were initially looked at suspiciously. And when she walked past us and I showed her the dirty spoon, she just walked past us without saying a word with the same suspicious look. Something like using a spoon can happen, but I don't think it's professional to just leave the guests standing there. Wouldn't go there again.
