Very good pizzas, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of limited opening times for lunch (11:30-14:00). If they would have been open longer (after 14:00), I would give them 5 stars.

Terrible serivice and the take away food was disgusting

Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. The restaurant was full and that was probably the reason that we had to wait a little longer for further service. The food was really great, highly recommended.

Great restaurant, great service, good menu, everything is very good - but the fact that you can't make a reservation online is extremely tedious. Only manned by telephone and only during lunchtime and at 5 p.m. It's a shame - we're in the year 2024 and that requires an internet reservation, sorry.

We went for the lunch menu and were positively surprised about the quality of the food, the nice atmosphere and the attentive service. We will definitely come back to also try the evening à la carte offers. UPDATE: Have visited a couple of times on evenings now and must say this is by far the best Italian restaurant in the region. Food, service and atmosphere are simply amazing.

For me the best restaurant, very large selection of dishes. Very modern and beautifully furnished, just fantastic. The staff very friendly and well-positioned. The managing directors also work every day and do their best in an exemplary manner.

Although I was invited and therefore can't say anything about the price, my assessment of DoppioGusto remains unchanged. The food is solid, the service is fine and the atmosphere is modern and appealing. Despite the hype, the restaurant doesn't seem outstanding to me personally. But the taste is still good and individual dishes are highly recommended.

Overall everything is ok, maybe some forgetfulness about the tuna seasoning (a little salt) and the potatoes (no rosemary). But the present service and the very welcoming environment made up for these small problems! Limoncelli offered! :)

We visited this restaurant for the first time and were absolutely positively surprised. The restaurant has its own free parking spaces in front of the house and additional parking spaces can be found in the parking garage. When you enter you are greeted warmly and escorted to the table. The ambience and furnishings are absolutely beautiful and pleasant. The service was extremely friendly and prompt. The selection of dishes is top and the taste is absolutely authentic. The price is on the higher end, but absolutely okay for the quality.

The greeting was quite friendly, it took a while before we were served. Starter was quite okay. The quality of the meat was okay, but it arrived cold and had little taste. Service asked again to make it warm-hot (no excuse, etc.) Service was generally miserable. Didn't ask once if everything was okay or if the food tasted good. It took 15 minutes until we could pay... In the end we paid 130 for 1 person. Not recommended.

It's not loud, very pleasant and you feel very comfortable and welcome from the first moment. The children can have fun in the playroom, which is very well insulated. Service is 1a. This is the second time I have experienced poor service and poor quality food here in short intervals. The service is disorganized and very nervous. The German language is foreign to the service staff - practically no one understands German. The red wine we ordered (not a bargain price) came after the main course. The Irish fillet was completely cooked through and was very dry. The Italian Salsicca was very bland in taste and did not correspond to traditional Italian cuisine in terms of consistency. It's a shame that nothing works here anymore. This used to be a favorite restaurant of mine.

Already the fourth time I've been there. A name, a guarantee. I consider this restaurant truly Italian compared to all the others in the area that claim to be "Italian". The staff is professional, attentive to the consumer, pleasant and well organised. The food is fabulous, I've tried from starters, first courses, second courses to pizzas. None of this has ever disappointed me. Truly quality ingredients! However, since it is very popular, I advise those who intend to go to book well in advance! I can't wait to go back! 💯

We arrived on foot but Bus 188 leaves from the station and stops under the restaurant It was a wonderful experience to taste Salento and Italian products without much contamination as often happens. The meatballs looked like the ones my mother makes on Sundays! In fact, I felt at home sitting at the dining table with the whole family A special thanks to all the staff for their kindness and helpfulness

Very tasty food, perfect atmosphere for every occasion and the service team is always top notch, from presenting the daily fresh fish to serving the dessert. There are options available for every 'special request'. We have already had some unforgettable evenings at Doppio Gusto, thank you very much!

We had each a pizza. The quality was good, but not outrageous (for my taste a bit too oily). The primitivo was very good and the same counts for the tiramisu. The price was normal for Switzerland. The service overall was fine, but the guy taking our order was a bit bored. The other staff was better. The modern interior caused a great atmosphere. In total 4*.

Wonderful restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. A lot of time was clearly invested in the interior design, because you immediately feel like you are in a magical place. Starters and main courses can't be beat - there's really nothing missing. The dessert is even more disappointing. I have rarely had such a bad chocolate cream. It was simply a Stalder cream mixed with a lot of gelatine. Unfortunately a very disappointing ending. Otherwise great! So it's better to invest in a starter and a good main course.

Was there on 10/25/23 7:30 p.m. Positive: The service staff is warmly friendly and competent. The room is not crowded with tables. Negative: My piccata millanesa and porcini mushroom risotto were nowhere near lukewarm instead of hot. Why my food sat around for so long until I got it is a mystery to me. I will never visit this restaurant again.

Really liked it!!! Amazing food the meat reaalllyyy good we took the Tomahawk for two and it was one of the best that I had. And to finish this delicious dinner we took the Tiramisu absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back.

Food is a matter of taste. The pizza is the worst I've ever eaten. An acid that disturbs. The pizza dough is not convincing. Didn't see anyone throwing and kneading the dough either. Makes you wonder where the acid comes from? The tomato sauce and mozzarella are not convincing either. The worst dessert was a chocolate mousse from a jar that tasted like it was “out of date”. It was a greasy cream and not a mousse.

Everything is perfect, was done many times and birthday party, and also family party, is very very good, organizational and the food and the restourant Moder… Very good, I will always recommend… Thank you Michele and the whole team

I went out to eat with great expectations. I find the ambience very nice and elegant. The food was really good, except for the dessert. What is a disaster for me is the service. Nothing to feel of Italian hospitality. Completely disinterested and extremely unfriendly. Unfortunately we had the impression that we weren't welcome at all, so we won't be coming anymore. There are much better Italian restaurants...

The food was very fine. The seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared. We ordered the beef medium. It was raw on the inside and tough on the outside, which was a shame. Unfortunately the whole evening was overshadowed by the really bad service. It took 30 minutes before we could order and the main course arrived after 1.5 hours. We were never refilled with drinks and the empty bottles remained on the table until the end. There were so many staff walking past us, but we always had to call to reorder. They felt like they were ignoring us. It's a shame for the good cuisine. I got the wrong food twice and again had to wait a long time for my real food. We would have liked to have tipped for the food.

Instead, at Doppio Gusto it is authentic cuisine, everything is prepared as it should, everything is good, the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, the presentation is impeccable. The service is friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The large environment, tastefully furnished. In short, total satisfaction. The price is adequate for what you have: you eat well and it is right to pay well. But those who live here know very well that you often pay too much for nothing, so it's better to pay to eat properly! We went for a birthday and had to suddenly change the date due to an unexpected event, the staff was really courteous and professional in accommodating us. The only flaw is the place where you have to go by car (covered parking in the same building) and not by public transport. Even if it is located in a not too favorable position and is always full, it is better to book well in advance. Highly recommended

Doppio Gusto has been my favorite restaurant since I lived in Galgenen. I really like eating a 300g beef fillet there. The only disadvantage is that you usually have to make a reservation, otherwise you have no chance. I'd love to come back!

Very friendly and professional service. The food was hit and miss unfortunately. My Tuna Tartare was unseasoned, had no pistachios in sight (the menu specifically mentioned this) and was swimming in olive oil. The braised octopus starter was very tender but lacked seasoning. The handmade pasta and the fish were very good. The pizzas were also perfectly fine. The tiramisu was excellent.

Large selection of delicious food, especially black angus beef was very good, but also pizzas, pizza pane, pasta, starter platters and desserts. Reservation required early. Parking garage, entrance is narrow and difficult for larger cars, free at lunchtime, reduced price in the evening. The service was friendly, some only spoke Italian.

Fantastic restaurant, very well decorated and all the dishes we tried were great, they have a brasserie and a visible pizza oven, the wine list is extensive and the price, well, Swiss, yes. A little excessive waiting between courses, but it is a small drawback compared to the overall satisfaction.

Nice place, very well looked after. Friendly staff. The appetizers were decent, I absolutely did not like the first courses, made with a ready sauce, without letting it stretch, overcooked pasta and the flavor of shellfish absent. Probably frozen but certainly not cooked with skill and love. Too bad the expectations were high.
