The Owners and Staff welcome us with a smile in their excellent Bakery and Pastry Shop! Every Tuesday morning, Michel Dubey has his stall with his good still warm breads, his milk rolls, his croissants and other treats which attract gourmets of which I am one because it is the market on Place St-Jacques de Romont ( FR ). After my appointment on March 31, 2023, with a practitioner on the Grand-Rue and as I had parked a stone's throw from Michel Dubey's, it was obvious that I stopped by his bakery. When you enter, what a nice surprise to see its exhibition of sweets and chocolates for the Easter holidays! With a small vanilla tart, I went down a few steps to go to the "Escale Café" which is part of the good bakery to enjoy a good coffee and read the "20 minutes"! Thank you Michel! On Monday, 11/13/2023, after my medical appointment and the Post Office, my desire for a good coffee and a treat fell through because "L'Escale" is his day off! On the other hand, the bakery window caught my full attention! The chocolate and confectionery works of David Grandjean, artisan baker, pastry chef and confectioner on display are magnificent! This talented artist collects first prizes and awards during competitions in Switzerland, Europe and even worldwide! Bravo and thank you with all my heart for your appreciated and recognized talent!

A real pastry, last week galettes des rois with excellent frangipane, and this week an iced Vacherin for Antoine's birthday, as the person concerned said so well, "a killing". I love this place and their products. I enjoy it. Chocolates are too good is perfect for a gourmet gift that will always be a success. The flutes are delicious and accompany all aperitifs. Just a shame they don't try lactose-free or gluten-free. I'm sure they would do wonders, because they have a passion for a job well done.

A large black forest without alcohol ordered for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday... This cake was a delight of flavor and lightness... it was unanimously appreciated by the guests.
