Beautiful ambience. Nice service. Was just there for a coffee.

I ordered what was listed as a 'steak' and was surprised to receive pork instead of the expected beef. This was quite disappointing as, by default, a 'steak' should always refer to beef unless otherwise specified. Hopefully, the restaurant can clarify their menu items to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.

Loving greeting, you feel welcome. Food very good, large portions. We'll go there again.

Delicious! We ate chicken in a basket and mushroom patties! The hosts are very nice, the service staff unfortunately it's like that. They seemed rather annoyed and not cordial.

We spontaneously went there to eat while passing through because the reviews were so high. We weren't disappointed! The owner is very friendly and a born hostess! The children were given things to play with. We ordered Schnipo, a large salad and 2 children's menus. The food was very rich, delicious and the prices were very fair! Highly recommended! 😀

A family-friendly restaurant with excellent home-style cuisine. The portions are large, the food was very tasty. We had the wild pepper twice, a chicken and a children's schnitzel. Plus a bottle of water, a flat red Sauser and an espresso. All together for a good 150 CHF with tip. A very good price for Switzerland. The friendly, familiar service and the good parking facilities are particularly positive.

We went there hungry, lookin to eat smt like on the pictures. They didn't serve us. No food between 14:00 and 17:00. Then we ordered 2 lattes (they were mediocre) , 1 capuccino (terrible) and 1 americano (good). Keep in mind we paid 10fr. for each coffee, of which we had to remind them of our order since they forgot. All in all, personally I don't recommend this place.

I just saw that I accidentally only rated it with one star. Of course it's five stars, I'm always satisfied. Nice service, cozy restaurant and top cuisine. Gladly again

An insider tip! I came across this restaurant by chance and would go again in a heartbeat. It was a beautiful summer evening, the terrace was full, but we still received a very friendly welcome and were spontaneously given a place outside. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food is very tasty, fresh and regional. What I was most happy about was the huge, seasonal vegetable side dish. Finally a restaurant that understands "...and vegetables" as more than just carrots and tomatoes. :-)

Very friendly staff. Fast service considering we were a large group. Sausage and cheese salad: Nothing special, fries good. Chicken breast Caprese: Tough meat, probably old. There are better places!

Wonderful staff and great food. Vegi Bleu is a poem and the salads and fish crispies are also excellent. Brilliant gelati from the farm in the region and great cream and cakes. Ambience great.

Beautiful, cozy, very good acoustics. Very friendly and competent. I didn't know the restaurant. We were invited to the Alperösli and were very positively surprised.

A place to go, linger, have a tasty meal and all this after a walk from the covered wooden bridge near the Rudenz church. Along the Laui and over the long footbridge of the torrent, then through the forest up to the Kleinteiler chapel and then you EAT on the wonderful terrace at the Alpenrösli.

As always, very well eaten - price/performance formidable. Service courteous and warm. Gladly again!

Very nice, the three of us went to Edith'sAlpenrösli in Giswil for the first time. It had been a long time since I had eaten such a nice tartare. The price is very reasonable and the staff and landlady are attentive.

This is where the craft is understood. The service is very friendly and what comes out of the kitchen is simply fantastic.

Super friendly staff, the boss personally welcomes customers to the restaurant. There is always something on the menu for vegetarians too. My recommendation is the Vegi-Bleu. The portions are very nicely prepared and with a starter the small portion is usually enough. I can only recommend. :)

You have to visit Alpenrösli! From the outside, the building makes a rather unspectacular impression, but it is being renovated very quickly. Very nice furnishings with a feel-good atmosphere where the table decorations also stand out with their simple beauty. The menu is very varied and packed with many specials. Particularly worthy of mention is the extremely friendly service - you can simply feel at home here as a guest!

Here hospitality is lived in the best and most exemplary way, from the owner to every other person who is in contact with the guests. In addition, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very appealing, beautifully decorated in a contemporary manner without being intrusive. And then the food! Very, very fine and the meat from local suppliers is of the best quality. The entire concept of sourcing everything from the region is to be highly praised and promises the best products. Also worth mentioning is the great selection of different dishes. Anyone who also values ​​a great view will not be disappointed. We were very satisfied

Edith was very welcoming, she even tried her best to speak in English. She suggested the local dishes and her cooking did not disappoint. Our dog was also welcome on a leash. This place is located less than 5 minutes away from a camper van site.
