Despite reservations on the internet, no one was there.

Had dinner there today. I have known the Egnacherhof for many years. Are here on vacation this week and as a final dinner, so to speak. The service seems uncertain and a bit slow. But the food is very tasty and honest, down-to-earth, not aloof, which leaves a good impression. It's definitely worth a second visit. Conclusion: it tastes good.

Good restaurant with friendly and quick service. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. A menu comes with a salad and a soup, with portions large enough to fill you up. The chef is personable and personally came to the table to ask if everything was okay.

I only had one coffee, but the service was very friendly and quick. I will for sure try the food there!

Very tasty food. Large selection and good service. There are 20 different cordon bleu to choose from with many delicious side dishes. The menu also offers something fine for almost every taste. The opportunity to sit outside when the weather is nice is fabulous. Although it's right on the main street, that doesn't bother you much. Location is easy to reach and there are plenty of parking spaces too. We'd love to come back to eat again.

Food as requested was very good. The service was friendly when we entered and we were informed that there would be an hour wait until the food arrived. I think that's great. And it's okay too. The information is important and we got it.

Very nice restaurant where there seems to be a huge selection of Gorden Bleus. Unfortunately it was already after 2 p.m. so there was nothing left to eat so we only had a coffee...

Very good food. The waiting time is a little longer, but it's worth it because everything is freshly prepared. The longer waiting time is also announced on the map.

Unfortunately very disappointing. The mineral was carbonated even though it was ordered without. The salad was heavy because it had a mayo sauce. Unfortunately, the vegetable plate had bechamel sauce on everything! Like in the eighties! We didn't like the food.

Great food, appealing ambience, price/performance is right across the board. The landlord is obviously not a service professional, but he tries hard and is very friendly and accommodating. That fits! We will be back!

We are absolutely thrilled with this great restaurant. We were greeted very friendly with a handshake. The service was just as friendly and accommodating. The food was super tasty. The starter was lamb's lettuce with French sauce. And for the main course we had a St.Galler and a traditional Cordon Bleu. The plate was very lovingly prepared and everything tasted delicious. The ambience speaks for itself. It was decorated for Christmas with a lot of attention to detail. We felt very comfortable and were definitely not there for the last time.

Cordonbleus taste very good but rather small. Without salad I wouldn't have had enough... The innkeeper is more of a dreamer, I mean something different by hospitality.

We wanted to have a coffee at the Egnacherhof on the way home. Very nice restaurant but very inhospitable reception! The landlord probably didn't want to sell us any more coffee at 9 p.m.! We're not a coffee shop at this time... was his greeting! It seems that only guests who eat something are welcome. We cannot recommend the Egnacherhof!

The food is very tasty. They specialize on Cordon-Bleu and have a big variety of them (more than 20 variations). And you will see why that is their speciality, they do really know how to make great Cordon-Bleu. Portion size and plate arrangement is also very appealing. The only downside is maybe that it is not the cheapest restaurant. But it is still affordable and really worth the price if you like some good piece of meat.
