We only had one beer. I find it expensive. Service was friendly.

Good cafe. Good selection and very nice people. Unfortunately the entrance is not wheelchair accessible… therefore 1 point deducted.

In terms of the label, it's actually totally my thing. Be mindful of many of the things offered here. Heavenly fine coffee and delicious pastries. Unfortunately, the impression is greatly diminished by two points/stars: Firstly, by the terminator who served us and showed little care (host blood was absolutely non-existent, at least on this day). And on the other hand, the children's syrup shines with a surprisingly high price.

A café like this was exactly what was missing! Simple, cozy, you feel comfortable and don't have to support a chain, as we already have enough in Baar or Zug. Still open on Sundays and very friendly. Keep it up!

Today, the first Sunday in the month of November 2022, after a beautiful autumnal walk, warmed up inside with a hearty chili sin carne (chilli without meat) with a kind of pita, refined with a touch of black cumin. Plus a refreshing, freshly tapped carbonated water... Prrrricklingly invigorating. Sitting at the large window, with a view of the listed building of the Baar town hall, right next to the modern architecture of the Raiffeisen Bank. The Elefant is the greatest news of this summer! Considering the offer of nice spots we have in Baar, It can make a difference. The Elefant stands out from the crowd. The drinks and food are done with love, which is the most precious ingredient. The staff is friendly, kind and they speak good English. This combo is sporadic in the Zug area. Here's the experience in short: Atmosphere & Place 8: The location is perfect! I love the minimalistic style and the presence of light-coloured wood. The table sizes are perfectly fitting the whole place room. The kids' area is small but very well organised, and parents can have a drink in relaxation while keeping an eye on their kids. The outdoor part has room for improvement. Menu 7 1/2: Most of Elefant's food is done with local ingredients and according to seasonality. I tried the croissant and the lemon cake, which were both yummy. A wise choice and, at the same time, a considerable challenge in terms of business. Service 8: The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. They are happy to speak in English and High German and don't complain if you don't speak their dialect. This is awesome! As I wrote, it is not something you can give for granted in this part of Switzerland. Bill 7: Reasonable compared to the Zug prices. The value for money is 100% fine because of the lovely staff and the great offer of food and beverages.

My personal impression of Kaffi Elfant in Baar was excellent... The ambience and concept convinced me straight away What is particularly noteworthy for me is that we use regional food here - (most of the dishes, meals and drinks are homemade) 🙏😊

Just fantastic. With a lot of passion, a wonderful place was created that not only invites you to linger, but children are also welcome. The attention to detail, from the regional and seasonal offerings to the different events for young and old, proves the uniqueness of this location. Congratulations to the team. A restaurant that Baar has been missing so far: Thanks to Scandinavian flair and an original menu, the Elefant is an oasis of comfort and at the same time a casual meeting place for young and old.

Local, genuine, beautiful, friendly, fine, tasty and cozy. Definitely worth more than just a visit. The team at Elephant was super friendly and the drinks in the cozy atmosphere were great! I'd love to come by again. A little extra for everyone who doesn't like changing their children's diapers in the women's toilet. There is a changing table for the men.

This elephant can do something! Cozy meeting point in the village center of Baar. The drinks and food are delicious and local. It's my favorite place for a cozy game night.

The restaurant elefant.ch offers a feel-good atmosphere for young and old. Friendly and courteous service. Parents and grandparents can finish eating in a relaxed manner while the children occupy themselves in the play area. Tip: Sunday brunch; Reserve a table.

I was a guest at ELEFANT for the first time last Saturday and I was completely thrilled! The decor absolutely 😎 and a very appealing atmosphere. The food and drink menu is small but very special and well thought out (regional, seasonal and the topic of “food wasting” is very important). The team is relaxed and VERY friendly and accommodating. A restaurant with a very big “feel-good” character. The guests were well mixed and the atmosphere was uncomplicated and relaxed. If you want to meet friends casually for a coffee, a good glass of wine or a small delicacy from the menu, then you are absolutely in the right place at ELEFANT. For me, the “children’s corner” is absolutely worth mentioning, so that even little guests can feel comfortable. A BRAVO from me for this well thought out concept. I wish the whole team continued success and look forward to being pampered by you next time.
