There is now more than just one kebab provider in Herisau, we still think the food from the Kebab House is by far the best. Very friendly service, they are always in a good mood.

Since living in Switzerland, I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant. Complete lack of respect, sneering and making faces like it was migration season in the suburbs. I have ordered from this restaurant twice and both times I was shocked by the way people talk to the customers, total disregard for the integrity of the customer who only comes for 1 hot meal. This vicious attitude is not what you would expect from a restaurateur especially in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. Really terrible.

I think you make the best kebab I've ever eaten, I even dream about it every night😆... everything always looks clean and the food tastes fresh. Top sauce. I think you might have to wait for something to eat when it's busy but it's worth it.

The new kebab skewer tastes very tasty and is real meat that is tender, juicy and fibrous. Not like other kebab shops, where the skewer can be anything but no meat. I'm happy to pay more if the quality is right (clean meat without additives, fresh salad, etc.). There is rarely a skewer like this in Switzerland.

Food is pretty average, I don't get much out of it, but it seems every time the prices for a kebab are a little higher. Currently at Fr. 13.50.

It's a shame there's no more chicken kebab on the weekend. That's exactly what made the shop a little more special than other kebab snack bars. I also accepted a slightly longer waiting time for this. I'll only come back when there's chicken again on the weekend. Another thing, I've also exceeded the pain threshold of 13.50 for a dürüm. Too bad. A step in the wrong direction.

The kebab used to be very tasty here, but since then the meat is no longer edible, sorry, the new meat is tough and very dry, as mentioned, it used to be the best kebap, and the prices are now at the limit.

Mega delicious Dürüm, I've been a customer for years but unfortunately the price is just too high for me. Fr. 13.50 is too much and unfortunately I won't be able to visit this store anymore. I understand that costs are high everywhere and everything is becoming more expensive, but as I said, the Kebab House has now reached a price range that is no longer possible. A pity :( :( :(

The food is good and fresh, but a wait of over 40 minutes for a kebab to take away?? That has nothing to do with snack bars and is a no go! Unfortunately I can't recommend it at all...

Top quality of the kebab. Also very large selection. Unfortunately, the price has steadily increased in recent years. Now he has reached my pain threshold. 13.50 for a standard kebab is too much. Good quality certainly has its price, but I know of a few other kebab shops in Switzerland that also deliver top quality but don't cost 12 francs.

Best kebab in Eastern Switzerland!

The food is very tasty and you can't fault it, especially with the new meat. I have been visiting the Kebeb House weekly for 4 1/2 years and have to say that I find it a shame that the prices have risen so enormously over the last few years. I am aware that the purchasing and maintenance costs for the Kebab House have also increased, but for a Dürüm with bacon and egg 15.50 CHF is really too much for my taste. As tasty as it is, I can unfortunately no longer recommend the Kebab House with a clear conscience.

Tasted good. Only the use of the gloves was a bit irritating. These should only come into contact with food and should not be worn constantly. Otherwise they will do the opposite and spread more bacteria than your hands.

For the first time in my life I was hungry for a kebab. No, very disappointed, normal kebab price is 12 francs, large kebab Pfeis is 14 or 15 francs. You will be forced to take the larger, more expensive kebab. I don't think it's fair

The food is very good, but several times I have ordered a mega kebab or mega dürum to take away and a normal one arrived at home. 1 cup of sauce for 3 kebabs that are packed without sauce is also not enough, but otherwise the food tastes very good

My favorite dish poutine with kebab meat - unique. And a very friendly host. Gradually you have the choice between eating outside, inside downstairs, or upstairs. The food is brought to the table after ordering at the counter and payment is made afterwards at the cash register.

Friendly staff and clean, attractive restaurant. Personally, I don't like it when the sauces don't come into the Dürüm when they're being prepared. It just doesn't taste the same if you add the sauces while eating.

I'm there at least twice a week and every time! simply the best food. No matter whether pide, soul, pizza, dürüm, kebab, salad, etc. everything is simply a taste explosion. The sauces (cocktail and yoghurt) are prepared fresh daily and even the iced tea is a house recipe. simply totally authentic and not comparable to other kebab shops. I will always come back and have never been disappointed. The staff is also really nice and warm, even when the house is stressful and full, they make sure you find a seat and are otherwise very warm and accommodating. I can only recommend the kebabhouse to everyone, please keep it up!!! Worth every franc you pay for the great food. ❤️ and it's always clean, whether it's the dining area or the toilet! 🙏🏼

Long waiting time. I ordered at 12 p.m. and the food didn't come until 12.40 p.m. and the meat wasn't well cooked either.

The team is very friendly and in a good mood. The pleasant atmosphere and the high standard of cleanliness make every visit a great experience. I feel very comfortable there and always enjoy coming.

Food was great but the wait was long. Everyone waited a long time and got a free drink. My friends and I even called ahead and ordered

WAY too long waiting times. Had to wait almost half an hour for a Dürüm. Prices are now 50% higher than before and salad saves money. Hygiene poor. Money is collected with gloves and then food is touched again. Unfortunately, the waiting time is too long almost every time, and not just when an employee is missing again. Prices have increased from 9.50 to 13.50, which is over 40%. You shouldn't touch money and then people's food. That has to be separate.

The atmosphere is chic and modern, everything is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The only thing I didn't like was the kebab. It was so salty that I could only eat half of it. I had to throw away the rest. A pity.

Best kebab in Herisau and the surrounding area. The flatbread is super delicious and is the main difference from the competition. The employees are very nice and quick to prepare, real professionals. In addition, the location is clean and pleasantly designed. Since the Kebab House opened in Herisau, I no longer go to Gossau for Oriental Kebab (was my previous favorite).

Best kebab/doner in the area! Kebab bread freshly baked and really delicious. Also available with lots of vegetables upon request. The sauces are also very tasty, 3 different ones, in addition to cocktail and hot, there is also a very refreshing one with dill. If you want to eat on site and indoors, you won't taste like a greasy kebab afterwards, thanks to the good steam vent in the house.

Compared to others, the bread and the whole kebab were too dry for me. Luckily there is dressing on the table and you can add more as you like.

Dürüm for 12.- is already a high price.

Fine kebab, but very expensive for herisau (11 fr. kebab) and relatively small. I was still hungry after one and I rarely have that kebab. There are others that are also good. Well, definitely not bad

A few days ago, I treated myself to another Dürüm. The ingredients seemed fresh and tasty. The meat was juicy and it had just the right amount of sauce in it. The only drawback is that you still can't pay with any other means of payment than cash. As a customer, I would be willing to pay the fees if in return I no longer have to handle the unhygienic cash.

The best kebab you can eat in the area. Our own bread and meat, prepared with love by the owners. Very clean and it doesn't smell inside. Really top quality and extremely friendly service. Other kebab shops can learn a lesson from this. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible. Nowadays there are inexpensive solutions and terminals.

We regularly eat our kebab here in Herisau during our lunch break. Service is quick and friendly, kebabs are the best in the area. One star deducted because you can ONLY pay with cash.
