Engelstock in Schwyz

Ordered 6 pizzas, received 6 burnt ready-made pizzas. Top service. Thank you for your answer "Let me know next time" - Serving something like that at all is questionable! It wouldn't have been possible for us to wait another 1.5 hours for the pizzas. If these are fresh pizzas, I would look for a new recipe. Thanks anyway

Well, what can you say? There's a place called a "bistro" and on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. there's nothing to eat at all! You make people line up and wait, only to be told a long time later that it's only drinks. I'm speechless.

The owners from this bistro are very friendly and helpful. The service is very good and the food was very tasty. I’ll be back 😀

I don't usually dine at restaurants but this place is very idyllic. The food was great and arrived nice an warm. The staff is really nice and funny aswell. Definitely coming back here to fill the stomach back up ater a nice hike!

Reserved for 8 people, only got the drink after 30 minutes, got the salad after 1 1/2 hours, had to go shopping first, ready-made salad from the bag, cordon bleu was an industrial product, fries were good, hamburger was black, hash browns were burnt, not to recommend

Very tasty crispy schnitzel bread. Before we could even properly order, the waiter came to our table with a complimentary glass of water as it was quite hot. Very idyllic and super friendly staff. Gladly again

We were very disappointed, the fries were hard, the hamburger was cold, the bread on the hamburger was black and the salad came out of a plastic bag, the salad dressing was inedible, typical English food, never again..

The food was very good, I can only recommend it to you. The staff are hospitable and humorous.

Directly at the drag lift. We went snowshoeing and ate here. Schümli Pflümli is excellent!!

Very good price/performance ratio for simple and very good dishes. Warm host couple. Rustic, simple and cozy atmosphere. Recommendation for a stop is certain.

Small but beautyful family skiing area. In the current covid situation be prepared to queue to get up as well as getting down with the gondolas. Unfortunately they have only one mashine for the parking tickets so you might queue again.

Not only open in high season, which we really appreciate. Small and simple, but good menu - there's definitely something for everyone. I chose bratwurst with fries. Both were very good! Friendly service, good price/performance ratio

Das Essen war gut, nicht Weltklasse aber ganz okay. Eine ältere Dame hat uns bedient. Um Ehrlich zu sein, mir ist glaub ich noch nie solch eine unfreundliche Person begegnet. Man merkte ihr an, dass sie gar keine Lust auf Gäste hatte, obwohl das Restaurant nur zur Hälfte befüllt war.

Best value for money in the ski resort. Their "Schnitzelbrot" is absolutely fantastic for a quick bite to eat or if you have more time give the very generous "Tagesteller" a try... My favourite is their "Kafi Lauitobel" ... A bowl of coffee, cream and a mix of spirits which is sure to warm you up on a cold day! It's location at the foot of the beginner's lift allows parents to relax and watch their children come down the slopes...

Wir sind mit unserem Familientreff hier im Engelstock (das neuerdings offensichtlich Ski Haus heisst) eingekehrt. Wir hatten vom Salatteller, Fischknusperli, Schnitzel und verschiedenen Desserts alles probiert. Das Essen war währschaft, insbesondere gefiel dass man oft auch kleinere Portionen bestellen kann (die waren immer noch gross genug), was auf einer Wanderung noch ganz praktisch ist. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Food mediocre. Staff friendly, but overwhelmed by many guests

When you are hungry after a day full of ski, what you eat is not so important :) Hier you can find some variety of food that goes well when hungry, yet one wouldn’t choose when in normal circumstances. You can find hamburgers, spagetti, schnitzel on the menu. The taste is good, but they are overpriced. The staff is, however, great, quick and always smiling.

Cramped when it's full but delicious food

Great place, not bad prices for Switzerland, perfect spot, tasty food, good staff. Only downside is it's too small during lunch. I would extend it if the finances allow, would really make it more comfortable. But a great place at a fantastic skiing resort.

Great to have something warm to eat with the children aged 3 and 5 while having fun in the snow. The meal was tasty and a good portion 👍

Good workers' menu at lunchtime

Very good price/performance ratio. For a family of four you can get by for 50 to 60 francs per lunch. Simple but good food. The gingerbread with cream for 6 francs is a hit.

Good burgers and nice staff. It's right off the kids slopes and easy to get to with little ones.

Gerne nehmen wir im Engelstock Platz, nicht das wir Engel sind, aber für uns hat dieses Restaurant einen besonderen Reiz.Das Essen ist sehr fein, die Portionen grosszügig und die Preise empfinden wir sehr fair, was für Familien mit Kindern sicher äusserst positiv ist.Die Bedienung ist stets aufmerksam, auch wenn das kleine Restaurant mal randvoll sein sollte, die Wartezeiten halten sich in Grenzen.

Dezember 2016 Wow, ich wurde von der Qualität der Speisen in diesem Restaurant auf der Skipiste sehr positiv überrascht.Schweins Cordon Bleu butterzart die Pommes frisch und knusprig, das Gemüse toll.Vielleicht ist meine Erwartungshaltung für ein Restaurant auf der Skipiste viel zu tief hier aber habe ich mich richtig gefreut.

Genau das Richtige für eine feine Bratwurst mit Pommes und Gemüse. Oder ein Schnitzel. Oder ein Cordon bleu. Oder einen Fitnessteller mit feinen Salaten. Ohne Schnickschnack. Dafür von sympathischen Gastgebern. Und dazu noch einen feinen Tropfen, z. B. der rote Schwyzer. Und als Abschluss einen tollen Café Schnaps.Was will man mehr? Wir kommen gerne wieder!
