Great place, exceptional location on Lake Maggiore. The manager Claudio is an affable person who coordinates the staff and manages to satisfy every customer request, offering not only kindness but also friendliness. The raclette enjoyed during the fireworks on January 1st is excellent

My recent visit to this enoteca was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance, and the experience only got better from there. The wine selection was truly outstanding, showcasing a diverse array of options to suit every palate. What made my Friday evening exceptional was the live music performance. The band was absolutely fantastic, delivering an unforgettable show that had everyone in the place swaying to the rhythm. It added a whole new dimension to an already wonderful dining experience. The food was equally impressive. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was evident that the chefs here take great pride in their craft, and it truly showed in every bite. Overall, this enoteca is a gem for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The combination of a stellar wine list, delectable cuisine, and that unforgettable live music performance on Friday night made for an extraordinary evening. Wonderful fondue chinoise & excellent service provided by Dario. Was a great pleasure to enjoy a splendid Sunday evening in this location.

During a visit we spontaneously decided to eat a fondue chinoise (4 people cost an additional CHF 200 - without drinks). This will definitely NEVER happen again. The service and what is on offer never makes up for the rather high price. It's a shame...nice restaurant, good location and that's it. The rest still needs to be worked on...

Open until 1:00 a.m. on Fridays with live music and a good atmosphere, including among the staff. We had a lot of fun and found good drinks with and without alcohol on the long drinks menu. Definitely going back here.

Excellent venue. Elegant and refined. Wide choice of wines. The dining room staff is friendly and helpful. The only flaw was the bill, a little too salty. But we will definitely be back!

My favourite place to have a nice evening out and watch people strolling around. Nice music and the service personal is never pushy, rather inviting I'd say. Come here and have a beer, or two or more and get lost in the night...

Very cute location, renovated very carefully and the ambience was great! The staff is totally lovely and are multilingual. Always in a good mood and good for surprises! Recommendations and rare items are on the menu. The waitress really took her time with us. The digestif, recommended by the owners, is recommended! I'll be back!

I have been a regular customer for some time, for me it is always a real pleasure to spend time in the company of my friends in this location, the credit goes to Mr Klaudio and his guys, every time they recommend fabulous wines accompanied by pinse or tagliatelle cheeses and cured meats make you feel at home! Best place to relax after work or for an aperitif, thanks to all the staff you are great!

A very nice and beautiful place, the waiter and waitress were super friendly, the music was very loud, we asked them to turn it down a little and they did so for now. They were very nice.

A different and homely place with a special charm. The Chinese fondue is especially delicious, along with its wines. The treatment of their employees and especially our waitress Yurena made everything very pleasant. Without a doubt a place to repeat.

Very good selection of international wines. The food is also very good, we had an incredible chinoise fondue repeating what we wanted. Very professional treatment, our waitress Yurena recommended a wine that paired perfectly with dinner. 100% recommendable. We will repeat for sure.

Dined with a Fondue chinoise The worst chinoise I've ever eaten, quality of the meat is tough and tasteless, the broth is a little salty and the sauces are nothing special!! Never again!!!

I spent an unforgettable evening with my family, for an important anniversary. I found a nice environment and met some nice people. The cocktails are spectacular and very good. Andrea and Matteo, as always, very professional and attentive to our needs.

To me the best bar in Ascona…the whole team of the bar is super nice, always friendly and trying their best to make every stay unique. They remember your name, what you like to drink and just give their best that you as a guest feel more than welcome and feel as much comfortable as possible! There were 11 of us and unfortunately we weren't served. After half an hour from ordering we left thirsty.

Ambiance is cozy and cozy. Ticino wines are in short supply. Expect more regional wines, too bad.

Unfortunately very unfriendly, unmotivated staff. We weren't given much attention and weren't given a drink menu. We arrived at 5:15 p.m. After 15 minutes we were told it would open at 5:30 p.m. Nobody said a word beforehand. The stated opening times are 5 p.m. It's a shame, but there are still some nice little bars in Ascona with more motivated staff.

Thank you dears for a great evening on October 12th, 2019 Saturday at Oktoberfest at this company! Unfortunately, to date we have not received the fee from this company for the overtime!! We'll report back to you about this incident in more detail next week! Of course, you can also write to us if the same thing has happened to this company as a guest or employee. Something like that shouldn't happen if you make an agreement with those in charge to do whatever you want afterwards!

The Fondue Chinoise was fantastic and very rich. The service was also extremely courteous, friendly and funny.

I celebrated my birthday in August at Cambüsa...in addition to our reserved space we had princess treatment!!! The manager sang just for us sitting at the table... I have never felt so important!!! We'll see each other soon even if there are many kilometers to go for us! Thanks Cambüsa!!!

Nice place, shame having to pay for a small dish that accompanies the aperitif. ... When ordering a bottle of Franciacorta you are sometimes served something more than just some snacks, in the end I had to pay for a mini dish that accompanied the bottle, which it wasn't even clear was payment for,

This evening, Thursday 24 October 2019, a stone's throw from home we had dinner with the exquisite all-you-can-eat fondue with beef, turkey, deer and pork (39.-). The service, quality and quantity were impeccable. Dante and his team pampered us. An evening to remember between location, environment, service and price. If I think that we are in one of the most beautiful and evocative places in Switzerland, tonight's is simply a gift. Thank you, see you soon. Igor Nastic

The shame of catering!!! One evening I went to have a beer but, after 45 minutes of waiting, while the manager (half tipsy!) was calmly doing public relations, no one bothered to come to me to order!!! So I decided to go down to the Lounge... 15 customers seated, a bartender and two waiters (1 boy and 1 girl). Two minutes after my arrival, the male waiter took the order while the girl and the bartender had fun.... My beer arrived after 20 (!) minutes of waiting, when I pointed it out to the guy who had taken the order who as response told me that that was NOT his problem! Very calmly, he told me that he had done his duty (taking charge) and that it wasn't his problem if the bartender continued to play rather than prepare the beer... Congratulations on your choice of staff! This happens when you follow the savings policy....

The place looks very good not sure if its the place or just the lady who was working on the Bar just make sure to see what she is serving we asked for monkey gin and she gave us some cheap unknown and once we told here she was angry and said that she didn’t understand properly , i was clear she cheated with the drink !!!

After a very good dinner we stopped off for a glass of wine. The staff are friendly and helpful and wine list is very good.

Super great ambience and the ideal place in Ascona to enjoy the evening with a good cocktail and a light meal... On the balcony or the forecourt you can experience the goings-on around you and you are right in the middle of it instead of just there... At any time gladly again...

Expensive. My cocktail was served with lots of ice and almost no alchohol. Very slow waitress.

Nice ambience, good location. Bad, unfriendly and inattentive service. The Moskow Moule tasted like water and is served here with crushed ice, the gin and tonic in a water glass. In general, alcohol is saved here, it's almost borderline. We won't be coming back here... at most for a beer...

For a good glass of wine in complete calm, the galley is definitely the right place! Then on the weekend, starting from Thursday evening the atmosphere heats up... beautiful music, even live, nice aperitif and lots of fun😍🎊

Good wine, but I recommend offering some appetizers together. Out of the 5 times we went only once did they provide any appetizers

Nice enoteca (wine bar) in front of the lake. Good selection of open wines. The red merlot of Ticino is recommendable. The wine list is outstanding. The bar keepers showed to have wine competences.

Since they opened up La Enoteca as an actual wine bar I wouldn't know any better place to have my aperitif. A glass of wine fitted to my taste and mood, thanks to the super friendly sommelier. As the hunger came by we ordered tartar and prawns from the oven which where both really good. Tuna Tartar with sesame oil! Funtastic! See you soon!
