This hall with the various street food stalls is like immersing yourself in another world for a few hours. The hanging plants everywhere with the lights kind of give the whole thing a tropical feel. Each stand can be assigned to a country, so the place is quite multicultural and therefore everyone will find something they like.

One of my favorite places in Zug. It's also good that you switched to cash-free, you shouldn't let the traditional ones worry you. Maybe in the future there will be the possibility of paying with Bitcoin in open space and then no one can complain anymore, because only Bitcoin is real cash. The quality of the food varies a bit depending on the store, but that is of course normal for such a large hall.

We found Freiruum purely by luck and were positively suprised! It’s the place to be on a gloomy day and if you like lots of food options. There’s something to eat for all kinds of people, no matter their dietary choices, and there’s even a bouldering area, as well as trampolines and an indoor park for kids to play. Another big plus in my eyes is that there is a free water corner and that dogs are allowed. Highly recommend!!!

Cool spot. After work drinks, families, dogs welcome. Food stalls. Beer bar and wine. Some music. We really do like this place as it has a good vibe. Mixed food options. But have also had (mild) food poisoning.... twice. We love the libanese place. I must have eaten there more than 10 times now. Have had food poisoning once from it so I guess hygiene could be improved. Often go to the little wine stall in the corner. Very generous wine servings :). If you fancy a pizza, you really can't go wrong with a Woody's. There is also a water station in the corner which is awesome.

Freiruum is located in a large old factory hall in which there are many small restaurants and stands that offer a large selection of international dishes. The hall is large and flooded with light, beautifully decorated and you have a lot of space to enjoy your meal in peace. Here you can order pizza, tacos, burgers, mezze plates, crepes and everything possible - there is definitely something for everyone. Toilets are large and clean, free water is available, WiFi connection is stable and as I saw there is also a climbing hall. All in all, for me it is a great place where you can enjoy eating something and spending time.

We love Zug and looked for an indoor kid playground on a Monday for my 4 year old girl. Freirum was a great choice, though parking was a challenge (not surprise around midday). Kuds area costed 12,- for 90 minutes, and it was clean, polite and friendly customer service. Then there are loads of different places and choices to get food. A pulled burger and a portion of pommes costed 27,- a handwash area and toilets for free. We liked it, we will be back. Next to the indoor playground there is a trampoline area, we want to try.

Were there today with kids. Halle from the trampoline park is “big” and flooded with light. But I think, and so do my kids, that with 80 children it becomes extremely tight and dangerous. Above all, none of the children look from left to right. You just jump, regardless of whether there is another one on the ground or not. You would have to give up a bit of sales and give up more on the safety of the kids. Then just let less in. Which is a real shame. Topic Entrance to the trampoline hall. I've never seen anything so horrible, or not. Why don't you write the entrance correctly? We had a coffee in the meantime and noticed that the staff showed us where the entrance was at least 5 times. You better write that down. Price performance is 👍🏼

Recently there has been Securitas in the open air, which I find a little scary. My question: Why is Securitas needed there? Couldn't normal Freiraum employees also check on the guests? I've also heard from various friends that the Securitas there are very unfriendly and experienced it myself... In the end, I fully understand that Securitas is needed, but in the open space? The location is so perfect. The demand matches the supply. The city of Zug needs a meeting place like this, which is equally important for young and old. Whether as a couple, as a family or as a group, it is a welcome place to spend a few hours. The only disadvantage I have to mention is that children up to the age of 6 stay in the small play area and the older ones only have to be in the trampoline area. A common area would be very nice so that smaller siblings can also play. Otherwise, all visitors will probably get their money's worth.

Today I was really disappointed with the Freiruum for the first time. I've been coming back since it opened and have always been completely satisfied with the food etc. This time, however, we were just annoyed. We ate all evening and also consumed drinks from Freiruum. The Securitas then stood at our table and reprimanded a colleague because of a PET water bottle and said it was forbidden and they didn't want to see it anymore. (It had tap water in it.) Well, later they came back to our table and condescendingly said to me "What is that? Again? (hypophorically meant) and pointed to my water thermos bottle (which had been there all evening I used it because I didn't want to get one of the small glasses from the tap and I always have the bottle with me anyway). .. Conclusion: Because of the Securitas, the rest of our evening had a strange aftertaste and the way they pointed it out to us was just condescending and didactic. They could have pointed it out to us in a more objective and simply nicer way. I think it's a shame that it's no longer like " "Encounter zone" and only consumption is in the foreground, at the expense of the joy of visitors. Unfortunately, I don't feel like coming to the Freiruum next time either, which is a shame...

This is absolutely outrageous! At our colleague's birthday party, we all treated ourselves to drinks (approx. 15 p.). When we asked for cutlery for a cake we had brought with us, we were brazenly charged a fee of CHF 55.00 - more expensive than the damn cake itself! A fee of CHF 10.00 for cutlery would have been understandable, but CHF 55.00 without any comprehensible justification is simply an outrage. This is ridiculous and I expect an explanation as to why we are being ripped off so much for something so trivial!

Really a great international food court type place, which reminds me of the Markthalle in Basel but more versatile, with also coworking spaces, commercial/office premises and a large annex with climbing walls and trampolines. The place is not necessarily easy to find, in the middle of an industrial zone and anonymous offices. There are sufficient parking possibilities nearby (paid parking). The atmosphere outside peak hours (lunch and weekends) is super pleasant. The space is bright and well organized. The choice of food there is not bad at all for a small town like Zug and the food is prepared on site, which is a change from standard restaurants. I haven't yet tried the climbing/trampoline area, but I'm looking forward to being able to come back here with my family!

The food on offer is very good, the prices are a little higher but the quality is generally good. => 4/5 stars The other leisure activities (trampoline, play area, etc.) are less positive. We wanted to go to the trampoline course with the children. But this is only for ages 6 and up. But it hasn't really been declared. When I booked the time slot, I was surprised that I couldn't buy the corresponding ticket. When we got there, the lady explained the age restrictions to us. But one look at the trampoline was enough to see that not all of the children were 6 years old. After a lot of back and forth, we were able to redeem the 18 CHF entrance fee for adults for entry to the Spielruum and a drink voucher. It all seems very disorganized and the prices are after all intended for the clientele in Zug. => 0/5 stars

Trampoline park is generally great, but the rules (one person per trampoline, no running around/fangis) are very poorly enforced. It often happens that children run uncontrollably across the trampolines where jumps such as somersaults are practiced. This makes it more of a play area than a jumping hall and not without danger. If the management really doesn't want to enforce these rules, it would be more logical to abolish them and declare the hall a arcade.
