Unfortunately I have to report my lunch experience here. We went out to eat with 4 children and 3 adults. As adults, we decided on the lunch menu, which included soup and pork schnitzel in cream sauce with butter noodle, really tasty but not exactly outstanding. Since there was no lunch menu for children, we asked the service, who offered us a small schnitzel portion, which of course made the children happy. The portion was also small and suitable for children, but we would never have believed that this portion would cost more than the lunch menu with soup - because we communicated to the service what was small for the children, and so we understood that the portion was child-friendly and at a lower price than the lunch menu . Well, unfortunately it wasn't true, the reason was that it was an a la carte order. We didn't even look at the menu, but accepted an offer from the service with thanks. What can you say for me, this lunch leaves a sour aftertaste after being ripped off by a waiter's trick. I don't want to say that I'm not prepared to pay 24 francs for a portion of schnippo, but I expect at least 160g of meat for pork, which clearly wasn't the case. The main thing is that the children were happy and now I don't feel sorry for the little mess because we also counted for the cleaning. My conclusion based on the looks of the guests and the way we were welcomed is that children are not very welcome there, so dear parents who don't go to this restaurant with children in Bassersdorf should rather go to the pseudo Italian Baron who does it everything for the children.

See good restaurant. The map changes again and again, taking seasonality into account. So it never gets boring. The service was very good and the food was very tasty. The location looks like a normal village pub, although it is rather cramped inside. The terrace offers more space when the weather is nice. I can only recommend the Resti and we would be happy to come back. Reservations on weekends are recommended.

Spezialwochen (Südafrika, Bündnerland etc) immer wieder was neues Tolles einfallen. Auch die Klassiker wie Cordonbleu und Leberli begeistern uns immer aufs Neue! Wir könnens nicht lassen :-) So fein!Der Service ist ausgezeichnet & herzlich, mit Kurt im Service hat man immer die besten Weinempfehlungen und auch etwas zu lachen.
