Service employee was snippy and seemed stressed. A service company should train its employees. Otherwise guests could stay away. Croissants are only available to order until 10:30 a.m. What's that supposed to mean??? Do you want to get rid of customers?

Unfortunately, we no longer come to this restaurant because something goes wrong with the service! The highlight was the bill. The good gentleman who served us had no time to split the bill (we were traveling in a group of 5 people) and everyone wanted to pay separately.

Emmental with its countless hills

A restaurant with a nice terrace and view. The food is probably good but far too little. We had veal cordon bleu. So in short, I've never had such a small cordon bleu with side dishes/vegetables. The price is 38.50 CHF so I expect a good portion. The vegetables were so spaced apart that I thought something had gotten lost on the way to us. Just to be on the safe side, I asked the waitress if it was a good portion. But what came was disappointing. Therefore 2 stars, it was good but not adequate.

We have been going to Fritzeflueh several times a year for a few years now. The food is very good, the terrace is cozy, but there is potential when it comes to the friendliness of the staff. I would notice if I met guests more often in my restaurant, but the boss with the glasses walked past us three times today without saying anything, and even when we left we were breathless. Mind you, there were about 5 people present at the time. Has success gone to your head? It would be a shame for this location.

Is very nice. Maybe they didn't hit it the way it usually does. I ordered a fitness plate with a small side of fries. The plate with various salads would be reserved warm in front. I waited a long time for the small portion of fries. Then came a large portion of fries... unfortunately they had a strange aftertaste. I reported it and you should try it yourself. Since the fries were good where the others had them in the cellar. And finally, you paid full price for a large portion of fries and ordered them as a small side dish. And there was no response either. How she found the fries. I think otherwise it was always good. That's why I gave 3 stars for the food. And we also had to wait a very long time. Because I didn't think it was all correct. Was stressful. Otherwise you can continue to recommend it.

Were there for the first time today with 5 people, a couple and three adults. The ambience is ok, everyone's food is good too. Something that made us shake our heads was the fact that a total invoice came, which wasn't actually the problem because it's common practice in most cases today. But the service simply put the bill on the table with the comment that he didn't have time to calculate it individually, we should do it ourselves. Sorry, but none of us have experienced anything like this before. We then each calculated our consumption using a cell phone. After 10 minutes he came back and we each showed the calculated sum. He then accepted this without any control. I have a lot of understanding for staff shortages in the catering industry. I can also wait a little longer for food and drinks, that's absolutely no problem because it's the weekend / Pentecost. That's where you relax. But to pay his bill, the service employee should do it personally in front of the customer. That's why there are only 3 stars.

A very nice restaurant. Terrace with a beautiful panoramic view. The food is regional and seasonal. Friendly and attentive staff. Definitely always worth a trip. Unfortunately it's not that easy to reach by public transport. But no problem for hikers. Also popular with motorbike drivers.

We ate dessert but would like to dine there next time the food looks delicious.

Very friendly staff! Homely, warm atmosphere. More upscale cuisine, but not overdone! If you're looking for gold leaf on the menu here, you've probably come to the wrong place and are better off on the Gütsch. But the food isn't any better there, just more expensive! You can also decorate beautifully on the Fritzenfluh. Price-performance ratio absolutely justified! ...rather quite cheap for what you can expect! Enjoyment is guaranteed! The menu is clear and designed to suit every taste! Nice selection of wines, original appetizers... If you don't like it, no one can help you anyway! Great view over the hilly and wooded Emmental and Lucerne hinterland all the way to the Jura. Beautifully rural and somewhat remote. Ideal for those who need to get out of the ghetto and find peace. In summer there is a very large terrace, of course with a panoramic view! Children are welcome! There is a small recognition in the form of a lolly for their works of art on the placemats... Unfortunately, the play area in the restaurant is a bit small and the playground is a bit further away, which can be particularly problematic for the very young guests. Nonetheless, we love going to Fritzenfluh!

Beautiful restaurant with an overwhelming view of Oberaargau and the Emmental. Our visit fell during game season. I ordered a venison pepper with classic game side dishes, and beforehand I had a pumpkin cream soup. The soup was very tasty. The venison pepper tasted excellent and the side dishes were very generous - with spaetzli, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts and glazed chestnuts. You can't complain about the size of the portions - for us at least it was very good. The prices are fair and appropriate for the portion sizes. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. A visit to the Fritzenfluh is also worthwhile from further afield.

We recently celebrated our wedding here and were happy and satisfied from start to finish! Ursula was very friendly and took a lot of time to advise us on table size, aperitif, menu, schedule... The restaurant offers a very nice, homely hall, now also with a beautiful, large terrace. Perfect for our party! Ursula and the whole team were always there during the festival if anyone wanted something (beer, coffee, second helpings) without being intrusive. They helped put things away and even though it was later than expected, we didn't feel any stress or pressure from anyone. And the food was also very tasty and was praised by everyone. Thank you for everything! Our tip for in between: park at the restaurant, take a short hike and then finish off with a saignant chocolate cake with sour cream ice cream! Heavenly!

A recommended very nice place. Far away from civilization. With a magnificent view of the Mittelland and Jura. Modern yet homely atmosphere. Very good cuisine. Large garden terrace. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking spaces available. In short - fantastic and worth a trip!!

I visited the Chilbi Fritzenfluh with my father and a colleague and it was a great experience. Good service, food, good music with the Enzian Gümligen band and the Wyssachen yodeling choir! It doesn't have to be every day, but that's how you get to know other people and that leads to conversations.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Good cuisine with a good selection. Starting point for various hiking routes through the forest. The view from the restaurant terrace is worth the trip.

After 15 minutes there was no service, but at the next table there were new guests within 1 minute served. But the place was practically empty. Has it doesn't seem necessary. Keep it up, this arrogance has already made many a host angry. I will recommend you and of course avoid like Weed. It's a shame no minus stars, here about 20 would be due

The view is very nice if you get a spot on the terrace (lucky you) without a reservation. The fitness plate was very good until almost the end, if there hadn't been four hairs left on the fork. This can happen but it must not happen!
