Very good food and wonderful ambience with an open fireplace. We were surprised to find a restaurant in such a remote place at the end of October. Gladly again.

The visit for dinner for three on a beautiful autumn Sunday: We quickly got a table with a view of the waterfall and were tempted to eat thanks to the large selection; we were only planning on having a drink. The menu was extensively filled with specialties. The marmot with polenta was incredibly delicious! The polenta must have originally been made over an open fire, otherwise I can't explain its good taste. The meat was extremely tender. The service team spoke German, which we were grateful for. We received food and drinks quickly. The price-performance ratio was absolutely right. We will come here again to eat and enjoy the Ticino flair!

Very unique little restaurant with traditional food that I've never tasted before. The location is very beautiful as you can see a large waterfall from the terrace and after lunch you can explore the unique stone village behind the restaurant. The sausages are made in a traditional way which adds to a unique texture and flavour. Even though I respect the craftsmanship the taste of the sausages was not for me. The salami tasted very good and the cheese selection was interesting as well. We also tried the polenta which had an interesting smoke taste profile. The service and atmosphere was very nice and it was a great quick stop and a nice way of getting to know the traditions in Ticino a bit better!

I haven't had such good polenta with cheese in 35 years. Perfect salami and liver mortadella made according to the original method, a unique polenta with excellent cheeses, tagliata al cioccolato, Merlot Nostrano and finally the Corretto Grappa. From the super friendly service and warm welcome at the entrance to the grotto and great seating allocation, to the price-performance ratio, with this quality of the products processed, there was nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back!
