We celebrated our wedding at the Gasthof Frohberg on September 22nd, 2023. We were 33 adults and 8 children. Organization was uncomplicated and competent. The meal was excellent. The service was great! Would come again and again! Big compliments to the entire team!

Thought it was an exception first, but gets confirmed everytime now when we are there. This is a real pity as this is one of the cosiest places in and around Rapperswil.

The location itself is great. A beautiful view over the entire Lake Zurich and beautiful furnishings. But due to the poor service, one star is the highest sentiment. We waited almost 1.5 hours for our food. When we asked where our food was, we were told that unfortunately another waiter was responsible for us. The waiter in question only showed up when ordering and paying. He was rude and didn't really apologize for the unacceptable wait. The food was no longer warm and the prices were completely exorbitant for the service provided. All in all, I can only advise against visiting this restaurant.

The location of the inn with a view of Lake Zurich is very nice. Only the entrance from the main road is not well signposted. At the moment there is also a larger construction site at the entrance below. From the weekly menu selection I ate a cucumber gazpacho followed by fried salmon with lemon risotto. The food was good. At first glance I found the main portion to be rather small. So there was still room for dessert.

We enjoyed an evening meal here. The outdoor restaurant has a superb view and is pleasantly decorated. Our table was unfortunately near the entrance and also the central service station. Hectic and noisy. The food itself was good but overpriced, especially the salad.

Zum Fleisch auf heissem Stein mit 3 kleinen Töpfchen Sauce, zusätzlich ein paar Pommes oder Blattspinat je 7.-. Wir warteten 1 Stunde nach Apéro auf Essen. Bedienung super und sehr freundlich. Vorbestellen ist ratsam.
