Very good ice cream, Chocolate and nut ice cream is unsurpassably good. You can really taste the fruit, fresh and very aromatic. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere. Big compliments to the whole team!

Really very tasty Italian gelato at a fair price by Swiss standards! Friendly staff. I love the pistachio ice cream and this is not artificially colored bright green, the pistachio flavor comes across wonderfully.

Simply very, very good ice cream. Really homemade, even the espresso like in Italy. Sure, the prices in Switzerland are a little high, but it's still worth a visit. Any time.

Updating my review, as it doesn't do justice to Gabriella's anymore... Any other icecream/gelato around has become completely disappointing after getting used to Gabriella's rich, creamy and delicious products - pretty much across all flavors! My recommendation? Go for it! But beware that other icecreams will become deeply uninteresting. And this feeling gets worse with time, to the point I'm about start reviewing other places with one star and "It's not Gabriella...".

As always, really good ice cream. However, the staff was unable to avoid contamination of the ice cream. My children's instructions were not understood by the staff. This is how my children received my ice cream. The cornet was said to be really good and the ice cream too. A pity! According to the declaration, the ice cream varieties are all gluten-free and some are also lactose-free.

Clean ambience. This is a gelateria. Not all types of gelato are available here. Here you can only taste gelato. The gelateria is small. There are few seats inside. Even outside. The gelato is fantastic.

Best ice cream in the Basel region

Very soft gelato, sweet level good, many different taste and it's not watery. More intense taste than the one I had in Ticino. Portion is just right, choose the grande one, they certainly give more on that. They have great service (quick and they have a lot of people behind the counter ready to serve you, also they are friendly). When we were there on Sunday, there is a bit of a queue but it didn't take that long. Definitely recommended!

Apart from the fact that the ice cream tastes phenomenal - despite the queue (no surprise!) it goes quickly until you can enjoy it, thanks to the very friendly staff

Always fresh homemade ice cream. The varieties vary depending on what is in season and what can be produced fresh. On nice summer days it can happen that you have to queue for 15 minutes.

I've only heard good things about Gabriella Gelato from many quarters and finally tested it myself today. Great! Forget any ice cream that you usually get presented or buy in the store. THAT is ice cream! Five * PLUS from me for the product, the friendly service and the little holiday feeling in the middle of Oberwil!

Tastes great and fresh. If you ask, there are also some without lactose. The only thing that can be seen as a defect is that there is no parking space for the car on the house. But honestly, with the portions you can also accept a bit of walking. (Would be good for some)

Easily my favorite place in Oberwil and their gelato can’t be beat. Plenty has already been said.

In the heart of Oberwil, you will definitely find one of the best gelato in the entire Basel region. The hostess makes the gelato herself from well-selected minerals and organic milk from Bruderholz. She also looks at the resources from her own garden, currently the fig sorbet fresh from the figs from her own garden. The gelato has a perfect taste, full-bodied and varied. A dream of heavenly sweetness and yet not too sweet. No artificial sweeteners or preservatives are used. The offer changes depending on available materials. There is also very creative gelato. We are thrilled and will visit again and again. I tried all the flavors in 3 days and none of them disappointed me, really very good gelato. Thank you for the lovingly made gelato. ;)

Followed by the sweet embrace of the best Gelato I've had in Switzerland. Great smooth and creamy flavours to choose from (yes, you can taste before you buy), all made fresh with local milk. The difficulty is not selecting more than a few to try! 😉 I went with a scoop of the fig and a scoop of decadent chocolate fudge. The fig was delicate and not overstated. No fake flavoring, additives here! Delicious! The chocolate should be eaten last as it's decadently overpowering to the subtle fig. Once done with my 2-scoop cone, I had to try another or my visit would feel incomplete! Pistachio was the next flavour to make it out of the shop before closing. Fantastic! Glad I made a glutton of myself. If you're in the neighborhood, it is The Place for dessert! If you're not in Oberwil, go there soon. It is worth the trip. Tram and bike accessible. Be prepared to wait a little, be patient and you will be rewarded! (Keep your distance, please). It has been a month and I'm still thinking about it! See you next weekend! Looking forward to more seasonal flavours!

Simply said: heaven in mouth! It was very difficult to choose which flavours to go for but in the end I opted for cinnamon and almond. Especially the cinnamon was perfect. And now I can't wait to try out more from Gabriella's pallet (I might start to plan more trips in the vicinity just to have a good excuse why I have to stop by 😇).

The ice cream was delicious, the nut flavor is recommended. All varieties were made primarily from regional products.

Since we looked for the best ice cream for our wedding two years ago and found it at Gabriella's, we have been happy to come here again and again. At that time we were able to choose the ice cream we wanted, the cooling containers did their job and we received sensational, reliable service. During our visit today, we also received the most delicious ice cream! The changing traditional and unusual flavors always make the choice difficult (lavender, coconut, hazelnut nougat, melon, white chocolate, etc.). The guests enjoy their ice cream and free up the few, charming seats in front of the house for the next guests. The team is well-coordinated, the security concept is clear and not a bit of the friendliness and passion has been lost. We look forward to your next visit, Grieder family

Fabulous! The gelato is so fresh & rich. They use high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Some of the best gelato I have had, & they are warm, friendly, & welcoming. They also do a mix of traditional flavors along with more unique flavors like lavender & marsala wine. Definitely try them if you are in the area!!
