Extremely friendly team, a real pleasure!

The best mix of a classic restaurant with a very stylish ambience. A wonderful view directly over the lake. The service was extremely friendly, very life-affirming with a very positive manner and really professional. You could already tell by the way the drinks were served. The menu is characterized by pleasant variety and versatility. My girlfriend couldn't really decide. The stuffed mushrooms she chose were a poem. I chose the cordon bleu here, that couldn't have been better.

There should be more places like this, stylish and beautiful views. The only thing was that the waiter asked me if I wanted a small portion of ice cream, I said yes, but they ordered a large one. How is that?🧐

Good restaurant with a beautiful of the castle in Buchs. Many had the daily soup (minestrone) and enjoyed it. The cordon bleu was very tasty. Overall solid restaurant

The food was excellent, I can especially recommend the raclette. The staff is very friendly and a special thanks goes to the waitress Janin, who is very attentive, friendly and humorous.

A very warm and relaxing set up with good music choices all through the evening. Sad as I could only go for a cup of tea and a dessert. But good thing I wasn't hungry either. Great place for family, friends, or colleagues meet up.

Restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. on a Friday evening, even though it says 10:30 p.m. on the homepage. The waitress (must have been the manager) asked us at 8:45 p.m. (!!) if we would like another dessert, otherwise she would send this item in the kitchen home. We hadn't even had the main course yet. An absolute NO-GO. If you close so early, then everything should be available until the end and not ask the customer more than an hour in advance whether they would like dessert. It's a shame, but we don't come here anymore!!!!

The food is good, the staff is nice and the location is fantastic. But unfortunately the price performance is not right. Price ok, but portions for a child? They served me 2 slightly larger tablespoons of rice. It's not okay for a man to still be hungry after eating!

We had ice cream. Absolutely ordinary ice cream, but very expensive. Throw away the banana altogether, because I clearly felt the citric acid that was added to the milk ice cream along with the dye and minor flavoring - it's not tasty. When the child wanted to go to the toilet, it turned out that he had to go to a public toilet far away. I asked to put our huge portions in the freezer while we went to the bathroom. But when we returned, we found that the ice cream had just been put on the shelf and it had melted. After all, there was a queue for the toilet. Everything is very unpleasant. A positive point - the tables are cleaned quickly and quite clean.

The picturesque surroundings of the restaurant tempted us to sit in the garden overlooking the lake and the castle. The food turned out to be equally good. The staff served us the drinks and dishes we ordered very quickly. We had a nice time here. There was pleasant music coming from the speakers. There is no other such interesting place to eat lunch or dinner in the area. The interior is pleasant, interestingly lit.

There is a rich brunch, lots of desserts but not actually a restaurant. The terrace would be nice and would have a nice view, but unfortunately it is next to a very busy road.

Ordered a Coupe Romanoff. There weren't even 3 strawberries in the glass. But it has apple slices. I always thought the classic Romanoff only consisted of strawberries. There is also a glut of strawberries at the moment, but unfortunately not in my sundae. And that for 13.50 CHF!!!! Not recommended to order.

Great location on a small lake. The food is definitely overpriced and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Right next to it is the Taucher restaurant with excellent cuisine

Completely exorbitant prices for what you get!

We were there twice, the restaurant is in a top location and is therefore always full. On our first visit we had to wait 45 minutes for a beer and a coupe, even though the waitress served the tables next to us and they came later, she didn't notice anything. When I asked twice, I received 2 different answers or apologies! On our next visit it was 12:30 p.m. We were given a great table and the waiter brought us the menu along with the supplement for the lunch menu. Unfortunately it took almost 20 minutes until the order for the food was taken. 3 of the 4 of us wanted the lunch menu, so we were just told, no, there is no lunch menu anymore. That was a bit disappointing, one gave us the lunch menu and also explained that the soup had changed, and the one who took the order 20 minutes later said that there was only that from the normal menu. A pity

Beautiful view over the lake and Werdenberg Castle, tartare was great and beautifully presented. The Werdenberger red and white wine was absolutely worth the price. The restaurant is highly recommended 👍

Nice restaurant by the lake, the view is certainly a plus. The menu has been the same for years. Price-performance doesn't quite match, you're certainly paying for the view. On nice days it is crowded and the staff can hardly keep up - it's okay for a drink, I wouldn't recommend food as such, it's definitely better and cheaper elsewhere, but without a view.

Very fine and good food, can only be recommended wholeheartedly ❤️, beautiful ambience outside and inside on Lake Werderberg like the castle, was chosen as the 2nd most beautiful place in Switzerland. Very quiet. Extremely friendly and accommodating service. Overall impression, food and service grade 6. I can only recommend everyone to come there for lunch, dinner or for a coffee with a coupe. Or for a special celebration, baptism, wedding or confirmation, a menu can be put together individually for every occasion. Staff respond to each guest's individual request.

Nice atmosphere, good service and food. Good approach is the Fitness teller approach, where the main comes with salad.

I ordered soup but had to wait 40 minutes for it. The table next door received the same soup before me, even though the guests had only recently placed an order. The soup tasted good. What I found strange was that they didn't take away a sticker on the plate. I hope these dishes were washed.

Beautiful ambience. Baguette Zack Zack is my personal favorite. Free parking next door. Walk around the lake possible right after coffee. Unfortunately, when it's very busy, some waiters become a bit "repellent", but otherwise very friendly. Update 10.22: new dishes, unfortunately the ZackZack is no longer available. But very, very tasty new dishes. Cordonblue highly recommended.

We had a drink on the terrace. The service was very attentive, there are also cozy lambskins to sit outside. The view of the castle, Städtle and the lake is simply beautiful and not only enjoyed by tourists!

Beautifully located directly on the lake. Service friendly and attentive. Da large tartare is HUGE and excellent. I will definitely come again. But then another ice cream sundae.

Service was good, about 5 employees were very friendly, our service then someone else came and didn't know exactly what was going where, view and food, great price, performance appropriate, fish crispy very good, very flexible staff when the menu was already out at 12.10

My wife and I had eaten here before for a company dinner, and the food was good. My wife went back today for lunch but had a bad experience. She and her sister ordered some drinks when first seated. After the drinks came, no one else came to take their order even though people around them whom were seated after them were served. Finally my wife had to go find a waitress to pay for the drinks as they were tired of waiting, she asked the waitress why no one waited on them. The reason given was no one was assigned to the tables. On average only 1 in 10 dissatisfied people complain, the other 9 don’t come back. I won’t be back.

Fairly well-known restaurant in the area. The dishes are good and varied. I was able to test almost the entire menu during my various trips and I was never disappointed. The setting and view is magnificent

Very nice location on the lake near Werdenberg Castle. Numerous parking spaces available. The staff was reasonably friendly, the question of whether you liked it, for example, was missing and is simply part of good service. The food is good and the menu is varied. The preparation is a little too tasteless for me. The food came quickly despite the restaurant being full.

The location, right on the "Werdenbergerseeli" was of course great, we were quite satisfied with the food, the service, despite the fact that the terrace was almost completely occupied, everyone was attentive, helped each other and was friendly. The prices are not without, especially drinks; Example, 0.33 cl. mineral with/without carbonation CHF 5.30 too expensive or appropriate? Everyone has to and can decide for themselves.😁

Location wonderful! A liter of mineral by the glass for 12.70 is very exorbitant!

One employee confirmed to me that payment with Twint was possible. When I ordered, the other employee said that it was not possible. And I had no other payment options. FIRST AND LAST TIME

Very pleasant on the terrace in the shade with a beautiful view of the small lake and Werdenberg Castle. Friendly staff serves good food. Walking paths, playground for children and plenty of parking nearby. Very friendly to recommend.

Good location, view of the lake from the dining table, evening sun. Service is sometimes good, sometimes not so good, café and summit are good, tiramisu was terrible 2 months ago, main courses from the current chef are delicious, but expensive.

I ordered a curry here a while ago. It wasn't as great as I thought, it was okay. I wouldn't go there again so quickly.
