We stopped for coffee with vermicelles, it was good, the apple cakes were also delicious, friendly chef, shady seats, plenty of parking space, gladly again.

Unfortunately we were 5 minutes late, the kitchen was only open until 5 p.m. It's a shame because we were often upstairs to eat, such as delicious grilled sausage with potato salad. Service very attentive, atmosphere really cool. Toilet available and really enough PP Also great for a short walk with your dog.

Super freshly prepared apple fritters with vanilla sauce. Very friendly and quick cook. The soft ice cream was also great. Whether by motorbike or after a hike, the Gantrischhütte is highly recommended. Since the Gantrisch Hut has a large canopy, there is plenty of shaded seating even in midsummer.

Was in the Gantrischhütte for the first time and was invited to brunch. There was enough food. Price/performance 👍. Is recommended and worth a trip.

It looked very welcoming at first but then the lady asked me why are we 4 people and only buying 1 drink so she made me buy another drink, she also said something about being closed and that they're doing us a favor letting us use the toilets and sit here.... So yeah not a nice experience, terrible service and the milk was really bad but we didn't feel comfortable to ask again... The guy we met at the entrance was nice though

Superb place after a great day of hiking

A wonderful, cozy restaurant in the Gantrisch region. The food is delicious and of high quality, the service is really friendly, and the views are great. A truly outstanding experience! Perfect for hikers, mountain bikers, or regular bikers, since the location near a very panoramic route invites people for a short pit stop.

I won't visit again, very unfriendly. We asked for breakfast before 10am... Are you a guest here? No. Then yes. The kitchen then asked with a little emphasis. Very meat-heavy breakfast, no substitute, a little more cheese or yoghurt. We felt very unwanted. We will remember!

The Gantrischhütte is an ideal place. To linger briefly, or even longer😊, to have a snack, to drink a coffee, (self-service) and despite the fact that there are an incredible number of people here, in the midst of these people, to feel an amazing peace and coziness within yourself . From here you have many different options for moving around, hiking, e.g. To enjoy the beautiful Gantrischseeli and the view, it is only about 15 minutes away from here. 😊🍀

We were able to celebrate our wedding here! The food was TOP! The service was very accommodating! We had the opportunity and the freedom to organize our celebration according to our taste. What more do you want. Uncomplicated, friendly and in a great location! We had to clarify room reservations again because a lot of wedding guests took advantage of this option. Very nice and new rooms!

Magnificent setting, ideal location for a short motorbike trip or exploring the Pre-Alps on foot. The service is good and the meals are good and plentiful.

Nice for a motorbike stop because there is enough space and a shaded terrace.

Were there on the motorbike last Sunday. Already on the way we decided that we would like to eat something at this hut. Due to Covid19 you couldn't eat inside, which of course wasn't a problem. But on a busy Sunday there were only two menu options, which not everyone really likes. Accordingly, only half of our group ate something. (You could have offered a sausage with bread, the grill was even there and you could certainly have served more people in total) But this does NOT mean that the food on offer would have been bad! The ambience and parking options were very good, and the staff was friendly. 3 stars because we wouldn't stop again at the risk of only being able to eat half of it.

Very hospitable team! The rooms are very clean and warmly/stylishly furnished. The beds are great! We really enjoyed the food: simple but extremely tasty cuisine. The hut is located in the middle of the spectacular Gantrisch. We would be happy to visit the Gantrischhütte again. The house is run with a lot of passion by Rölä Iseli. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Large space, easy access, beautiful view.

We were rudely informed on Sunday that we had to put our motorcycles somewhere else and not in a vacant parking space. We certainly won't be stopping there again to have something to eat. As the saying goes, the sound makes the music

Motorcyclists are whistled at by the staff as soon as they park....that's probably not always welcome.....I've decided not to leave a cent behind.

My favorite place for a stop in the Gantrisch. Nice people, nice rooms, good view. Always good from the grill.

Excellent place where you can park your vehicle for the day. Paid parking with day pass. Be careful, this is a place where there are a lot of people, so prefer public transport or come between seasons. Refreshment bar available outside the restaurant and restaurant with a nice menu. Superb place to start or return from a hike.

Just number good. There has been a new host in the Gantrischhütte since May 2019. The reviews that are older no longer have any meaning.

Our group received a very warm welcome. Despite the fact that the restaurant was closed, we were served a fantastic fondue. After the wonderful snow tour, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. We recommend.

Excursion Sunday December 29th, 2019 Lots of day trippers in pure sunshine and so you can ask drivers to pay. There is no visible sign that you have to pay for parking in the restaurant parking lot. During consumption in the self-service restaurant slow cashier 40 Fr. Parking buses everyone had one on the car! Was worth it. Bravo!
