Super friendly and attentive service 😊 Freshly cooked and innovative vegan cuisine and vegetarian cuisine, very tasty, varied, good portions and colorful! A newly created 3-course menu every week. Great experience, second time going there for great concerts

Gasworks area - gas boiler Cool location. The Gaskessel Bern is one of the oldest youth and cultural centers in Europe. Created at the beginning of the youth unrest in Bern, it became an important platform for open space in Bern. Cultural events such as concerts, parties, theater performances, exhibitions, discussions and film nights have taken place here regularly since the early 1970s. Awarded the City of Bern's Social Prize in 2016! And this commitment is passed on from generation to generation. Brief historical information: Contrary to what the name suggests, the two domes of the gas boiler were never filled with gas, but rather with water. Gas has been produced for the city of Bern over the entire area since 1876. In 1967 gas production stopped. The two domes were converted into a youth center four years later.

The Flying Mystic/Strobo Very nice vibe, everything is relaxed, you feel comfortable. Good combination with outside/inside.

Quite nice, the system and acoustics are bad and some events are pretty terrible... e.g. Flying Mystic.... Simply letting 10% fewer people in so that everyone has some space would be decent, that's why the organizers and the gas boiler are certainly don't go hungry, you can make endless money with something like this, these things are limited one way or another. It was always so crowded that you didn't even have room to dance and you were constantly being jostled. That's why I don't go anymore. A pity.

I love this place. For me it's the only club in Bern where I could be every weekend. The people don't all look the same, the location is great and the staff was always nice. A must for every Bernese

Bad party for over 16 people and over 40 people, it's not worth it at all and there are better clubs. The staff is very rude

We got tickets for Sascha Braemer. Location top - dance floor delicious: enough space for individual dancing. DJs were also great! A NIGHT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER. hopefully we'll dance there again :*

Friendly but you shouldn't hope to find French speakers there. Don't go too early, it's not worth it.

Lots of young ravers with urban behavior, lots of positive energy, lots of communication, lots of dancing, lots of love. I like coming to this club for techno. 💚💚💚

2 hour queue security looks more stressful than the party goers

Very cool atmosphere and very interesting architecture. The dance floor is large and there was enough room to sit and watch people dance or just take a break.

The Gaskessel is a cult location in Bern. Very diverse cultural offerings. Personally, I have been to psytrance parties here a few times. The best psytrance parties are “The Flying Mystic”. People come from all over Switzerland, there's a great atmosphere and the sound is absolutely top notch. Techno parties aren't bad either. You can also eat. You should see it if you like electronic dance music.

Very crowded and wild at hip-hop parties, often minor arguments, but despite everything a cool location.

Ambience rather cryptic... I went to a "Techno/Techhouse" party once. In the winter it was cold and drafty (zero heating) and in the summer you sweat like hell. At that time, music was RATTERED from the PC by two guys and they were mooving like D. Guetta....but you can immediately see the "small difference" in the musical performances. Spoiled ears don't have to admit that (15.-Sfr entrance fee)

The "Kessel" is a well-equipped nightclub, run mainly by 18 - 25 year old young Bernese. There's always something going on in the Kessel, from metal to Goa to hip hop, all sorts of events take place. Also bookable for private parties.

Youth center managed by young people themselves. 2 attractive stages, excellent cuisine. Lots of opportunities to collaborate and initiate projects. Sensational concerts, innovative disco formats...

Almost every evening the same thing; standing in line for 2 hours in an uncontrolled crowd, only to be told exactly the same thing: "the club is full. Nobody is coming in anymore." Instead of analyzing it earlier and letting people announce the news earlier, they wait as long as possible to get as much money as possible before announcing it. He used to be really horny. But today it is a complete waste of time and money. Never again!
