The Röschti was disappointing: Stovetopfel was watery and tasteless, the bacon was raw, the cheese was gummy. Pans are probably prepared in advance Price performance is not right here. The coup was great and the service was top notch!

I'm sometimes there when I cruise over the Schwagalp on my motorbike and sometimes I go for a run up there with my dog. I actually always stop at this restaurant. You eat well and cheaply. The portions are well sized. A wonderful view. Large parking lot available. Also suitable for wheelchair users. Beautiful garden terrace. Unfortunately, the staff at the service leaves a lot to be desired and has been doing so for years; the service is very nasty...but maybe just overwhelmed! What a shame for such a well-visited place!

When I visit, the food is always delicious and the service is always friendly, even when the hut is full... highly recommended 👍👍👍

Among other things, a motorcycle meeting place, there are special parking spaces for it and are welcome👍🏼 Service is quite friendly, ambience is a matter of taste, is an old building, who likes it? I can't say anything about the food, I "just" needed the most important thing ☕☕☕😁

Were there with the motorbikes, very good parking, right in front of the terrace. The sausage salad was once again really great and the service was good and helpful. We'll definitely come back

It's just a shame that the restaurant closes at 6 p.m.

The young gentleman knows something about his job and this cannot be overlooked but . . . . The greeting “hey guys” surprised me because we are not colleagues or even 20 anymore :) The waiter expressed his opinion about my tattoo and my colleague's jewelry and that irritated me again This encounter was too collegial for my taste, because in Switzerland you should pay more attention to the level at which you can talk to people :) ;) With kind regards

Great food, perfect view and the service from the young Hungarian man was just so special and personal. A big compliment to him, he did everything to our complete satisfaction, with a smile on his face and a perfect assessment of people. We have rarely met such great service. Big praise for the kitchen and service😊😊😊

Typically Swiss mountain restaurant beautifully located at the foot of the Säntis. The food was very good. The price is fair and fits all dishes, no “mountain or sightseeing surcharge”. There are more than enough parking spaces available. Very friendly and competent service. Children are welcome, but there is no playground. Highly recommended, we would love to come back.

On the way through we took a quick break and drank a coke. The service was friendly and uncomplicated.

The food was below average. Meat fatty and yet dry. Rösti probably frozen product. Price too high for the quality of the food. It used to be better there. We will drive a few meters further in the future.

Mam realizes that you don't have to attract guests with fine cuisine, the Säntis takes care of that. The most tasteless cheese slice I have ever eaten. A pity!

We felt really comfortable here. Friendly service and authentic food. Rösti gratinated with bacon, cheese and fried egg, as well as the croissants, all very well prepared.

Friendly but unfortunately very long waiting times until you are spoken to. Then another 5 minutes until what you ordered arrives. But it was also full and busy on defense

Friendly, price is ok, but Goba Cola is not what I want to drink right now. Otherwise ok, typical tourist place, too many bums on the route, regardless of whether they are motorcyclists or other convertible drivers. The race management is doing rip-offs at its finest, has nothing to do with safety, is just about filling up the Appenzell cantons. But you know where the monkeys are. The route from Nesslau is boring, it's better to go up and down towards Urnäsch.

Unfortunately, we couldn't order food even after 20 minutes of waiting. The service staff ignored us and walked past us several times - deliberately ignoring us. We then switched to a restaurant in the valley with attentive service. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

A nice restaurant in the mountains ⛰️ with a beautiful view. We ate a coupe🍨 and had something to drink with it. The coupe was very good, just a little smaller than pictured. The service could be a little friendlier. Otherwise very nicely located.

We went on a tour with our motorbike and at the top of the Schwägalp pass we stopped at the inn, had something to eat/drink outside and then continued on our motorbikes. The food was ok, but the cheese slices are not recommended. Cheese tasteless and children's portion. I would have expected more from a cheese slice in the Appenzell region...but the winding drive there was great. When it comes to food, I only give it 3 stars, I gave it the fourth because of the beautiful view of the Säntis, which is almost within reach.

Despite the busy restaurant, service was friendly and quick. Plenty of parking space available.

Beautiful location with a view of the Säntis! We ordered Schnipo with vegetables and a housewife salad. Everything came very quickly! Unfortunately the housewife's salad wasn't fresh and we had to give it back. The vegetables were too firm and had no taste whatsoever. Guess frozen goods! We were not charged for the salad. We enjoyed the view and our drink.

As soon as we sat down, we were spoken to 5 times by the serving girls. When we then ordered and a tap water was ordered, the waiter's daughter's eyebrows quickly went up. Very rushed and disinterested staff. They come and go again.

With a convertible motorcycle or for hikers it is ideal, unfortunately it is not open when there are two clouds in the sky. The operator thinks that everyone goes to the Säntis cable car in the newer restaurant that doesn't really want motorcyclists. It is comfortable and different. Parking for motorcycles 200m away behind an avalanche barrier. Hotel prices are too high
