Gasthaus Waldheim in Bremgarten (AG)

It was with great anticipation that we went to the restaurant to eat today. have been there again and again in recent years. Actually, the food and service were always top. Today the food was excellent Unfortunately the service was a disaster. We made a reservation, the table wasn't set when we arrived, and people often walked past us after dinner. But none of the service people had the idea to ask us about cafe or dessert, which is a shame. After 30 minutes of waiting we paid and were disappointed and went somewhere else for dessert. a pity, a pity, a pity.

Very nice atmosphere, attentive service. After the meal there is a good kind of grappa and the Baar is really beautiful... We'll be back DOGS welcome ❤️😍🙏.

The food is always delicious. Great service and friendly. Prices are OK. Wishes are fulfilled even though there were many guests there. We would like to come again. THANKS

2024 Unfortunately no longer satisfied. Everything is far too hectic, guests are turned off. Employees are constantly having private conversations at tables, even though the restaurant is completely full, while the long-time employee is doing her best to make the guests happy. This comes across as very unprofessional. The plate decoration is careless and the food is nothing special anymore and the prices are too high for that. The children's portions are much too big. 2021 5 stars Always very tasty and super nice service. The chef comes to each table in the evening and asks whether the food was okay. And yes, it is always delicious and prepared with joy. I can recommend it to everyone =)

The Cordon Bleu used to be awesome! Something special that didn't exist otherwise. Today it is also tasty but nothing special anymore. Otherwise the staff and everything was great!

Romantic atmosphere, very finely balanced dishes. Plenty of choice, including the wine list. Hosts and service very accommodating, prompt and friendly.

We only ate, no overnight stay. Therefore I cannot comment on the hotel.

Unfortunately, the service is quickly overwhelmed with a full table. No wonder the service arrives 15 minutes after opening. After the table was found we were quickly given something to drink. And then there was a break. After the children had finished with the monstrous portions, we got something to eat... after 45 minutes. The food was very tasty and the portions were decent, which unfortunately doesn't make up for the service. 1700 entry into the restaurant 1920 the dessert menu was requested upon request. I think the ice cream needs to be cooled first. It's a shame, just a shame. I'm looking forward to the coffee... Hopefully warm. Ps: Typographical errors can be noted

With a short-term reservation we got a very nice table despite the full house. The service is very courteous, friendly and prompt. The food is very fine and the price/performance ratio is 100%. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much.

Yesterday we were 9 people. 1.Chairs: Very comfortable. 2. Service: Very accommodating! 3. Food: Good to very good, the portions and quality were above average. I haven't been to Waldheim in ages, but that's about to change! Congratulations to the owner and his staff! 👍🏼✨

Last Monday we were with you for the first time since the change of ownership to eat game. Nice rooms, very well staffed for Monday. Luckily we signed up. Pumpkin soup delicate. Our venison fillet with porcini mushroom sauce is simply fantastic, the meat is extremely tender, and the red cabbage is also specially prepared... Compliment! The only mini-criticism: the plates weren't hot enough, so the spaetzli weren't either. Why didn't we give 5 points anyway? The reason was the wine selection on the menu and the message twice that our chosen wine had not yet arrived. It's nice that you have local wine companies on the menu too. But as in other restaurants in Aargau, Nauer's wines never convinced us. It is also not possible for wines to have a fantasy name and nowhere to say where these vines grew. Please also include more wines from Valais, Graubünden and Ticino in the range. Our final conclusion: an extremely great game menu needs a matching wine. And not a fantasy wine from Bremgarten, which then turned out to be Tegerfelder.

Food is great! Service very friendly and hardworking. We often go there for lunch. Price-performance is very good!!! Keep it up!!!!

I ate here on my birthday yesterday. Very good food, my Appenzeller Cordonbleu was awesome. My nut salad is also great. Very friendly service. Portions great. My free chocolate mousse with sparkler and serenade from the boss and waitress was very nice. The menu is large and varied, the pizzas also looked great, I'll try them sometime. Gladly again :))

Friendly and competent, very prompt service. There were 9 of us and the table reserved for us was ideal. We were able to order individually, and individual requests were also taken into account, such as fries instead of spaghetti as a side dish). Compliments also to the kitchen: the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and we received the simple but beautifully presented plates at the same time, which is certainly not easy with 9 people. Thanks also for the coffee offered, we'll be happy to come back.

We always come here spontaneously without a reservation. The food has always been great so far. Price is a bit to high in my opinion but still ok. There is also a free parking situation and good reachable. Only downside is the construction on the street outside yet and a little bit difficult to drive in. Also the presentation of the restaurant is in a little bit older version.

We reserved a table by phone and first had an aperitif downstairs in the bar. When we asked at the restaurant on time for our reserved table in the winter garden, the waiter said everything was fully booked. Only in the large hall in the middle of the people and it was very loud would there be another table. No apologies, nothing...Thanks, that was the first and last time

At lunchtime, completely booked, it's worth making a reservation. Despite everything, TOP service, friendly and 1A food. Be it beef fillet, sirloin steak or chop, everything is on point and the meat is of very good quality.

Ambiance in the red room was great. Unfortunately, reservations are not always honored and you are accommodated in another room. Which I personally don't like. Food and service always top. Customers often park all over the place, do not stick to the parking spaces and park in front of others and themselves. Still a good restaurant 😁

We celebrated a birthday and were absolutely satisfied. We were warmly welcomed, the birthday child was celebrated and we had an excellent meal. And here everyone will find something on the menu and at fair prices. This is still gastronomy that knows what is important. Again any time.

Great restaurant, child -friendly, hearty children's card. We didn't have to wait long, even though there was really a lot going on. Nice staff, Pizzaiolo Benito, with his warmth, clearly stands out, a real philanthropist with a lot of sympathy for children. For us, the hot stone is the hit - on Mondays and Thursdays in special offers. The meat quality is really great! We'd love to come back.

Food and drinks were excellent as usual! Unfortunately, the waitress seemed very unmotivated and hardly paid any attention to us. Unfortunately, a lot of things were mixed up and billed incorrectly during billing. (Prices were correct, but some drinks were charged to the wrong people) The music that was played in the chalet (bar) that evening didn't fit this restaurant/ambience at all. This would be more suitable for a shisha bar. We would be happy to come back if this bar is served as usual.

Used to be great, today it's a flop! If you can't handle cooking for so many people, I would accept less! Waiting over 1 1/2 hours for a main course is an absolute no-go! The Waldheim in Waldhäuser near Bremgarten was newly taken over. The food offer At lunchtime there are three menus and an a la carte menu with a top wine selection, also by the glass! The food was fine, the service was nice, there was even a free espresso. The restaurant is divided into a restaurant and various large rooms for parties, banquets or other events. In warm, sunny weather, a terrace invites you to linger. As a starter it also has a bar for aperitifs. Gladly again!

The food there is really great, I've eaten here several times. The staff is really friendly except for a slightly older woman with glasses who, in my opinion, behaves arrogantly, impatiently and disrespectfully, and I've noticed that several times. I think it's a real shame because the atmosphere and the food are really great.

Best vegetable plate! As a vegetarian it's not always easy and here for me it's gourmet food! But the hot stone for “meat eaters” is also highly recommended! We have been good customers here for years and every time we have had good and very friendly service!
