Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere! The service and kitchen performance are excellent. We were a group of over 20 people, a real challenge that was mastered to our absolute satisfaction. Menu: Starter salmon tartare with toasted bread, then beef fillet with croquettes and vegetables. Extremely fine and beautifully presented. Great service and so friendly! Great cuisine, with fresh and seasonal dishes. The game menu in autumn is highly recommended, but the fillet steak is also a dream every time. Paired with exquisite wines, all in all perfect for a lovely evening. I'm already looking forward to the next time 😍

New opening: The white cross since the end of 2019, under new management! A young and friendly couple took over the “Gasthaus weisses Kreuz” at the end of 2019. There are two professionals at work here who not only know their craft, but also invest a lot of passion and heart and soul. The team is perfectly coordinated, with a clear division of tasks. While the boss is still in the kitchen pampering the guests with fresh culinary dishes, the boss takes care of the service competently and lovingly and surprises with her knowledge of wine and beer. The manageable menu impresses with additional, constantly changing, seasonal offers. Not only the à la carte dishes, but also the lunch menus are lovingly prepared and are a real culinary delight, with an excellent price/performance ratio. The white cross has been converted/furnished in a modern way and exudes a special ambience. The kitchen is openly integrated into the restaurant so that the customer can follow the preparation of their order live and see for themselves that not only is everything freshly prepared, but also very clean. Smokers meet in the separate "Smoking Room" and don't have to stand outside in the cold in winter, but can enjoy their cigar/cigarette indoors in the warmth. In summer, the small veranda invites you to linger, with a view of the old town and the hustle and bustle of comings and goings in the old alley. Truly, with the white cross, Mellingen once again has a small gourmet temple, a trendy restaurant that could become more than just an insider tip! If you would like to visit this little gem for culinary delights, we strongly recommend that you make a reservation by telephone. The word has already gotten around that something special has been created here.

We were each able to enjoy a 4-course menu on Saturday. The food was visually beautifully presented and the quality was right in every single course. I would especially like to mention the homemade salt and the great bread! The service was always friendly and attentive. A small, stylishly furnished restaurant with an open kitchen - I can only recommend it!

Very good restaurant. It's one of the smallest restaurants I've ever eaten at and there was only 1 person serving us and 1 in the kitchen but everything was fantastic. The waiter was nice, had a lot of patience and good knowledge. The food was very good, the portions were just right and the taste was very fine. The atmosphere was relaxed and modern and despite the noise from my children, I never had the feeling that it disturbed other guests.

We were at the Weissen-Kreuz in Mellingen last Saturday. It was our second visit, but definitely not our last! Everything was just right from the first to the last minute! We found the atmosphere to be cozy, modern and also creative. The service was very friendly! The meal was a unique delight! So folks, if you want to eat really well in the Baden, Bremgarten, Mellingen area, go to the Weisse-Kreuz in Mellingen! You can really tell how much passion and love was put into the individual menus. Even seemingly simple things, like a scoop of ice cream for dessert. A delight for the eyes and the palate. Don't let the prices put you off. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right and as I said, we will definitely be going back to the Weisse-Kreuz many more times! Simply wonderful - just as it should be!
