No idea about gluten!!! I wanted to order an iced coffee at Bären this afternoon. Since I have celiac disease, I had to ask if the iced coffee was gluten-free. “Iced coffee is always gluten-free” is the answer. Well, out of 10 classes only about 6 are gluten free!!! That's why I ordered a cappuccino. "Take a sorbet, it's vegan and therefore gluten-free." Well, out of 10 sorbets, 5 are gluten-free!! I didn't get involved in any extensive discussion and emphatically ordered a cappuccino. Since the bear in Ranflüh is also famous among my friends, I wanted to go eat there with my husband in the near future. But after this afternoon I definitely won't do that. Well, it only happens to me very, very rarely that people in a restaurant don't know what gluten is!

Christmas dinner with the family was great. We had the Säli to ourselves, were able to order à la carte and were completely satisfied. Delicious food, excellent wine and a cozy atmosphere. The gigantic Cordon Bleu is particularly recommended. The staff was very friendly. Enough parking spaces. 100% satisfied. We will be back.

After a bike tour, we spontaneously ended up at Gasthof Bären and very quickly noticed that hospitality, homemade food and regionality are very important in this house. We were very surprised by this quality with a very good price-performance ratio and wanted to get a more accurate picture of the recessions. Luckily, and as expected, we are not alone with our positive experiences. The very rare negative reviews were shocking 😳, and the few are incomprehensible and questionable with what expectations guests give reviews. We booked 2 nights in the cozy Gasthof Bären including 1 day of e-bike rental. Everything was perfect: very good food (seasonal and regional), modern and tastefully renovated rooms and an attentive and friendly team from morning to evening. We really enjoyed our stay away from the hustle and bustle and were able to drive down in peace. Absolutely recommended, we will definitely come back.

The tree house is in a parking lot right next to the restaurant. Has nothing to do with trees. The roof has holes and is very noisy... You have to share the shower and toilet with other guests, even though the price for overnight stays is quite high! You can hear restaurant guests driving away... Service very inflexible. The quality of the products is very good and attention is paid to regionality. We particularly recommend the tartar hat with great meat and delicious sauces. We didn't know the Tartar hat before. The hotel staff are very friendly and warm. You feel very welcome in the hotel and in the restaurant. Here you can simply sit back and relax.

It's a shame that some of the "homemade salads" are not prepared in the inn... I've also eaten better fried fish. The dessert, on the other hand, was very tasty.

We didn't have enough space in the breakfast room to have breakfast together after the wedding and after we were finished, eggs were offered upon request. This should happen beforehand. We also paid extra (written by hand on the bill) for the dog. Because there was hair in the bed. 3s there is no blanket or bowl in the room and our little pug is always at the end of the bed. Unfortunately, deduction here too. Dog lovers understand this. The tree house costs more than a room, but there is neither heating nor insulation and there is no water. I would personally give the room away for free to people who love adventure. Camping, on the other hand, is a luxury. As a bride and groom, we received a little attention and would like to thank you for that. We booked the entire hotel room and came to eat with a good 25 people. So we brought in good sales, but we could have had a discount or a promotion for the food or the guests or the bride and groom. Not a must, but an idea that makes the whole thing more human. Especially in the country. This is not a direct criticism, this is just my personal opinion that I express.

Wohnmobil-Dinner Sehr herzlicher Empfang, bei Schneefall mit einem lächeln serviert und sehr fein dinniert. Suchtgefahr! Nachdem wir unsere Menüs auf der Website des Bären Raufli ausgewählt bzw gemischt hatten, bestellten wir diese telefonisch bis 10.00 Uhr am Dinnertag. Auf den gelb markierten PKW-Parkplätzen hinter dem Bären konnte wir unser Wohnmobil eben platziern und haben in der Nacht sehr ruhig geschlafen. Bei der Anlieferung der vier Gedecke inkl Tischtuch wurden wir mit einem Lächeln hinter der Maske sehr freundlich und aufgestellt empfangen. Nach dem Apero wurden uns die bestellten Vorspeisen bei Schneefall serviert = drei sehr leckere, frische Salate und eine heisse Suppe. In gediegener Abfolge genossen wir die Hauptspeisen: Cordonbleu und Sure Mocke mit den passenden, frisch zubereiteten Beilagen, zusammen mit einer Flasche Maienfelder aus der gediegenen Weinkarte. Unsere beiden mitgebrachten Köche und die Frau des Wohnmobils waren sich einig: Hammer Cordonbleu! Eines der bessten der bisher verspeissten! Mit den Desserts aus den Menüs schlossen wir die Tafelrunde ab. Beim bezahlen mit Bargeld wurden wir ein weiteres, leider letztes Mal an diesem leckeren Abend, positiv Überrascht. Dem Bären Raufli und seinem tollen Team werden Wiederholungstaten angedroht.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenen Aufenthalt im Gasthof Bären. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön renoviert. Ebenfalls können wir das Restaurant nur empfehlen.
