Gasthof Ochsen in Münsingen

I visited Konolfingen and was guided here by the advisor I was visiting. It's a historic restaurant that my advisor's father has been frequenting since his father's time, and I received the best hospitality from my advisor. ✨The interior is made of wood and I was able to enjoy the local atmosphere of Switzerland. The first thing I ate was a green salad, and the main course was Zürcher Geschnetzeltes. When I looked into it later, it seemed to be a staple of local cuisine. The meat was very tender and delicious. My stomach felt just right at the 8th minute. When I told the advisor that it was very delicious, the same thing came out again. (✌) To finish off, I had ice cream 🍧. It was a very relaxing restaurant. The madam who took our orders was friendly, bright and nice. Thank you for the meal!(^o^)!

We are having lunch on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 with the group (25 people) from the TCS Schaffhausen section. Friendly, competent and prompt service. Food was excellent (Berner Platter) with second helpings. The Gasthof Ochsen and its team are highly recommended.

Great options and variety of food

Rarely have we seen such nice and attentive service ladies as in the Ochsen. Craziness. If we didn't live so far away, we would actually come every week because the food was also very good. Went there with 3 kids, the littlest one got pencils and something to draw with and the older ones were also treated very nicely. Every now and then we asked if everything was okay and was always very friendly and cheerful. By the way, it has a changing table for the little ones and even a toilet and toilet attachment for the little ones getting clean. Great praise.

Nice ambience. and good quality. However, the food was very expensive for the size of the portion. The tacos released a large amount of liquid that accumulated in the plate to form a soup. Although we had simple dishes, other guests who ordered after us received their dishes earlier.

The service was very friendly and good. Drinks were good. Starter, well, okay with effort. Green salad: Why aren't the lettuce leaves plucked a little as they should be? An egg, cherry tomato and radish would spice up the a la carte salad a little more and it doesn't seem like it was a simple menu salad. (Salanova lettuce would be 2 colored - as we know, the eye also eats.) Mixed salad Celery too much mayonnaise less is more. Cucumbers good Corn, well you could at least make a sauce to make it taste like something. Tomatoes okay Well-intentioned grated carrots would be more appropriate for a mixed one. It somehow seems like you need the a la carte vegetables. Here, too, you could pre-pluck the green lettuce and not put whole leaves on it. Salad dressing was very good. Perch with the tartare sauce was the best. A tip: chives instead of parsley and the sauce would be perfect but it's a matter of taste. Salt the chicken wings. Spice is also a matter of taste but try it in the kitchen without drinking anything afterwards. French fries were hot and crispy but there were a lot of fragments on the bottom of the plate that soaked up oil and were then dry. The dessert was a nice big portion and really exceeded the price. The set is top. 1-2 ice crystals were noticeable in the desserts while eating but it was okay. The restaurant can be recommended, but there are many little things that could be improved to take it from good to very good.

Tacos plentifully stocked, service top-notch - note to the senior boss: mistakes are human, including yours - the garden restaurant is spacious, unfortunately on the busy main road.

We were outside on the terrace. It was well attended, but the service staff had everything under control and coordinated well. Food was also delicious.

Home-style cooking, large selection. Salads can still be improved. Attentive service.

Meat (chicken) was not pink through the inside. We made the staff aware of this and returned the plate, but another employee (possibly the boss) took the plate from the service employee and brought it back to the table. Answer: this is delivered marinated meat and the chicken remains pink inside. Put the plate down and that’s it! According to inquiries and research, chicken is never eaten pink! If I want my meat completely cooked in a restaurant, I demand decent service and that my meat is fried again! 100.- paid for 2 people will no longer visit the restaurant. Customer is probably not king

Eat well and heartily. Ambiance and service staff are sometimes quite unfriendly. During our last visit, it was pointed out very rudely and rudely that our dog was not allowed to drink from the water dishes we had brought with us on the floor in the restaurant! A now go for me!!!! After we asked why, we were told very harshly that the floor would suffer if it got a little wet🤔 If guests have wet shoes, the floor probably won't bother us🤷 We will NOT enter this restaurant again!!

The Gasthof Ochsen has been in the hands of the spoon family for several generations and has always been worth a visit. Me and my family have valued the Ochsen, the Ochsen family for around 40 - 50 years!

Homely ambience and a classically set table. It's a shame that it took well over an hour before we could order the main course after the aperitif. We enjoyed the food, which was served without any decoration.

Top-class multi-generational inn. Warm, competent service, first-class food, simply a pleasure to come to the Ochsen with the spoon family. Everything is delicious and homemade, from the sausage salad to the beef fillet. My favorites: The excellent trout and char from the fish farm, the cordon bleu, the vegetables and the rösti. A dinner in an ox is a splendor.

There were three of us and we ordered Zürigeschnetzeltes with rösti, chicken suprême and asparagus with raw ham. The first two dishes corresponded roughly to what one could expect according to the demands of the house. The asparagus, on the other hand, was prepared too sparingly. As you can see, no problem. But the sauce: you could think that the cook had prepared the hollandaise for the first time in his life: tasteless and colorless, watery and not enough. I don't understand how something like that could be served. And then with a snobby serving style. (5+5+1)/3=generous 3.

Very nice location, great beer garden under 2 old, beautiful trees. Large selection of beer and very nice service. As a guest you feel very well looked after. The food is also fine, the fish crispy from Rubiger farming is recommended. Be sure to stop - there are parking spaces right on the street.

Sehr gut - wie immer. Freundliche und kompetente Bedienung .

Haben hier spontan angehalten, der Hunger hat uns getrieben. Wollten eigentlich nur ne Kleinigkeit essen, ist dann doch mehr geworden. Es hatte uns so gut gefallen. Tolle und freundliche Bedienung, Essen tip Top. Wir konnten draussen in der Sonne sitzen. Herrlich. Sind ganz bestimmt nicht das letzte mal hier hier gewesen. Am besten, selber ausprobieren.
