The food is really great but not what we expected. We had specifically ordered a LARGE pizza including sauce to take away and had repeated this three times on the phone. So we thought it would be enough for two people. Unfortunately, it was not like that. Attached is a photo with the dimensions. Also, no sauce. Disappointing! And 20CHF for that!

The restaurant is centrally located in the middle of the village of Tafers. Free car parking spaces are available. Traveling by public transport is also practical. The bus station is right next to the inn. Beautiful, cozy and large terrace under the walnut trees at the Gasthof St. Martin. Wood-fired pizzeria with a large selection of pizzas. I can highly recommend the Prosciutto e Funghi Pizza. 😋 Friendly and quick service. 👍 Had a short wait for the fine and crispy wood-fired pizza 🍕, at around 1.30 p.m. See you soon again 👋

In St. Martin Tafers there are super fine pizzas, pasta, meat and all other ingredients are top. Friendly, attentive, prompt and nice staff. Very beautiful and Mediterranean garden restaurant with music, protected from the sun with plant trees and blinds. The host couple Toni and Linda are very attentive, friendly, uncomplicated and generous. Toni is always up for a chat or fun. We are regular guests, welcome and eat there regularly as a couple, family or with friends. Price and performance are right. 100% to recommend Dora and Peter

The pizzas are really delicious, as is the tomato soup. But the service is by far the worst I've ever experienced. The waitress hardly speaks German properly. Ordered 3 x tomato soup as a starter, received 2 x tomato soup and 1 x tomato-mozzarella salad. That would have already been typed was the answer, and ultimately he couldn't help it, the colleague had taken the order. The green stalk of the tomatoes was not cut out, although every restaurateur should know that the stalk contains the poison solanine. The plates were full of fingerprints and grease splatters. Maybe you should hold the plates with a cloth and serve them, especially in Corona time, and not touch them with your bare fingers. That should just be standard. Even at home I wipe the edges of the plates when I have guests and use a cloth to serve. The soups were served, but we had to ask for spoons. Why aren't spoons brought after ordering? As dessert, one of us wanted the house dessert Tiramisu once, and he received a scoop of Tiramisu ice cream. The waiter's daughter boldly claimed that we had ordered it that way. We're too stupid to know what we ordered. The panacotta was served in a small glass with a sticker on the lid with the date June 4th, 2021. Was that made then or was that even the best before date? Nobody knows for sure, but why the hell isn't it just removed? Then such questions would be unnecessary. Just zero professional pride and no attention to detail. It was the last time I was there, it's a shame because the food wasn't bad. Maybe you shouldn't just hire the cheapest staff who can barely speak German

Beautiful terrace with public viewing for the European Championships. Unfortunately there was hardly any veggie selection for the pizza. That's why I ordered a pizza Indiana (chicken, curry, pineapple, ...) without chicken. My brother ordered the regular Indiana pizza. I discovered that the curry was only on the chicken as a marinade and the Indiana pizza without chicken curry tasted like nothing. When I looked at the bill I found out that I had to pay the same amount for the veggie version as for the normal one. Our friends' other two pizzas were very tasty.
