I've been in Schütz for ages and it's the same as always. World class! I chose the Wienerschnitzel with fries and it was excellent 👍 The schnitzel was pounded very thin and deliciously breaded and so big that it overlapped the plate. I didn't need any mayo or ketchup. The fries were deliciously seasoned, crispy fried, flawless. The mixed, small salad 🥗 beforehand was also wonderful. A special praise for the service, really hospitable, well positioned and available for a Bernese German chat. Plenty of parking spaces in front of the house 🏡. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. It's a great place to spend some time and it's worth stopping by! 5 stars are definitely not enough here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

The Sempach family in Schütz Oppligen always makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. The employees are always extremely friendly and helpful. Price performance is very good. Plenty of parking spaces and a comfortably furnished restaurant. The Gordon Bleu is recommended. So incredibly nice with all that cheese! Other whips should take a role model here. The Schütz doesn't really cook like today's Schicki Miki restaurants. Every truck driver will be fed up here!

Very fine food, service very friendly

If you travel to Interlaken, be sure not to miss this local traditional restaurant. We ordered 5 dishes, all of which were very delicious. The beef was very tender, the fried steak was very fragrant, the cheese was soft and smooth, and the taste was delicious. The black tea is very delicious and the service is very good! highly recommended! Who says there is no delicious food in Switzerland? He must come here to try it, with its very beautiful gardens and warm and beautiful shops.

Simply a place to feel good. Starting with the super friendly and humane service, through the cozy atmosphere to the delicious food. The Schütz is the perfect place if you are very hungry, for example on a bike tour from Bern to Thun. The food tastes really good, is fresh and available at really good prices. The Schütz has good, old-school Swiss cuisine. You can tell that there is a lot of love in every dish. So the menu salad is not a boring, run-of-the-mill salad with ready-made sauce, but a beautifully arranged plate with different salads with crunch and a delicious sauce. The saddle of lamb fillet is very tasty and tender. But the highlight is clearly the Cordon Bleu! This is not only “simply awesome” because of its size, but also super tasty. The abundant cheese forms nice threads and runs out of the cordon bleu when sliced, the meat has a great consistency and the fries are also delicious and crispy. The overall concept of Schütz is simply brilliant: delicious Swiss dishes, large portions, second helpings and good prices. Highly Recommended! Also for tourists who are very hungry.

Sevice was ok. We arrived around 2 PM in the afternoon for a late lunch. The waitress (owner) offered us no menus but just came up to our table and asked us what we wanted. We did find a menu online but not in the restaurant. Our daughter who didn't order any food initially decided when we got our rösti and snitzel order that she would like to order a tomato soup. Unfortunately, this was not possible as the kitchen was closed. The food was alright - huge portions- but not special. Not the best experience ever but satisfactory.

Thank you for the great “Schütz-Cordonbleu”! You definitely don't have to starve in the Haus zum Schütz. Despite the full restaurant, no long waiting times and friendly staff! This is a top performance. Thanks!

Price/performance ratio is absolutely not right here and the fact that the trucks are parked in the middle of the access road is extremely annoying.
