GinGin in Horgen

Short family visit in Horgen and spontaneously had an aperitivo here. Friendly, accommodating, great ambience, nice selection of wines and a fine selection of small snacks. Gladly again…☺️

Surprise random find. Excellent music, great teas and lovely service. Let’s not forget the really impressive selection of Gins and Tonics from around the world.

The 4 of us were able to experience a magical evening outside in one of the “fondue barrels”. The service was attentive, the fondue 🔝, the bill amount was justified. I would like to repeat!!! Ingrid; you're the best! 😉

Great cappuccino, fantastic atmosphere, and the service was great. Really enjoyed this as a coffee spot.

Such a lovely venue ruined by zero star service and it wasn't a language issue as our host spoke perfect english.. When you are not made to feel welcome why would you want to spend money @15 chf+ a drink ? We were a table of 8 spending over 100chf a round ? Very disappointing.. Lots of other great places in Horgen.who understand the value of service

We really enjoy GinGin but it’s a crying shame it’s not open on Sunday to relieve tired parents who have kids having fun on the Dorfplatz. Can you please find a way to give it a trial? 🙏

Great service, great drinks and very nicely decorated. The snacks are very lovingly prepared and delicious. It's great to have something like this in Horgen. Certainly enlivens the village square.

Update October: everything is great, keep it up 😎👍🏻 ———— Super cool and new bar in Horgen. An absolute asset but the staff definitely needs to be trained on how to make the coffee/espresso/cappucino correctly. As soon as that is fixed I will be happy to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately the service (lady from Austria) is also very unfriendly and not accommodating..

I had the pleasure of visiting this bar recently and I absolutely love it! From start to finish it was an unforgettable experience. The ambience is simply fantastic. The furnishings are stylish and cozy at the same time, and the lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere. The bartenders are real professionals and know how to give excellent advice on a wide variety of gins, wines and rums. What impressed me most was the service. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They really took the time to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were met. It was a joy to be surrounded by such warm people. The music in the bar was perfectly chosen and made the atmosphere even better - matching the ambience, not too loud and not too quiet. It was a great place to relax with friends and enjoy the evening. The dot on the cake was the chocolate cake with a liquid center. I never expected to taste the best chocolate cake I've ever had in a bar. The warm, liquid core of the cake was a real treat and an absolute delight. It was the perfect end to a perfect evening. All in all, my visit to this bar was a real highlight. I highly recommend them and will definitely come back. A big compliment to the entire team!

Horgen has a new hotspot: GinGin bar at the Dorfplatz is teeming with life in the summer days when you can sit outside and watch the going -ons at the square. The wide selection of gins from across the world has not yet disappointed & the stylish interior is also inviting on rainy days. When it gets busy, be patient as service can be a bit slow

Today I was at GINGIN. To satisfy my hunger, I ordered an Alsatian tarte flambée, which I really enjoyed, and a fine glass of white wine. For me the whole thing was like a bit of a holiday in everyday life, of course with the potential to be repeated.

Finally a beautiful and comfortable terrace in the heart of Horgen. Certainly the right address for gin lovers, otherwise there is plenty of wine and other drinks. The service was very friendly and extremely competent when it came to the extensive menu.

Finally a real bar in Horgen again! It couldn't be more local. Interior is unparalleled on Lake Zurich. Unfortunately no open beer☹️

A gem in Horgen What Marco, Giovanna, Stefan and Nadia and their team have created here - in the middle of Horgen - is second to none. Excellent service, great and interesting drinks, a stunning gin selection and delicious snacks.
