This evening March 22, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend for dinner. And what I'm commenting here now has the purpose of discouraging everyone from the restaurant. Please stay away, you won't get good food or good service. You don't feel comfortable when you're in there, just because of the pieces of paper that say you have to pay €5 if a plate isn't empty, what a threat. They are glued about 5 times to the front and back of each buffet table. At the ice cream stand it says “beware of children” so keep your children away from there. The food was COLD and rancid. The flesh felt like chewing gum. There was nothing fresh and they didn't refill it. Under no circumstances should you leave your money there. The service is arrogant and unfriendly. After eating we felt sick and had a stomach ache. Who wants to do that? Read the Google reviews, they speak for themselves.

Great Asian buffet, rather inexpensive. I like to go there again and again. Unfortunately, as is often seen in Asian restaurants, there are lots of signs banning this and that or threatening fines. Apparently this is necessary, but this aspect doesn't seem inviting to me.

The food was not at all tasty and mostly cold. The food was almost entirely not fresh (a lot of bag/canned food, a lot of it had been sitting for too long). The employees only have a very limited command of the German language. The comment that the food was cold was not addressed and only stated that everything was OK. Other guests nearby also expressed the same complaints. When paying, they asked for a price reduction, which was vehemently refused. Before I go out to eat here again, I'd rather shove a broken glass into my rectum and go swimming in Tabasco. I hope I was able to help you with the decision to find a suitable restaurant. I would rather recommend the nearby McDonald's branch.

You can't really complain about the food because of the large selection and there should be something that everyone enjoys. In my opinion, it even tastes better than the competition in the commercial area. Service is very inattentive and sometimes emotionless, unfriendly would be an exaggeration. Tables are cleaned after each guest, but everything still feels slightly greasy, not so great with smaller children. But the ambience is simply desolate. Unpleasant cold and too dark light, you have the feeling you are sitting in a train station hall. In January there were mosquitoes in the restaurant, very strange. The price for the buffet is just under €20 on Sunday evening, which is ok. Small children pay nothing.

When we read the notice at the entrance to Ginza that 15% of the buffet price would be added for each person who did not order drinks, we found it very special and strange. Now we arrived at Ginza, the owner was so unfriendly, cheeky and brash. We were stared at for no reason by this rude, cheeky and brash owner, so much so that we immediately lost interest!!! Something so underground has never happened to us in our entire lives!!! If the guests aren't even welcome, I wonder whether it has a bright future with such an unfriendly, cheeky and brash owner. Such a catastrophic owner scares away every guest, keep it up!!! Luckily, there are other great Asian restaurants in Konstanz where guests are warmly welcomed. My motto for this Ginza restaurant, under no circumstances go there while the rude, cheeky and brash owner is present. You can't support something so low-level!!! Never again and that's why the one star is rated far too well. We would prefer to award 1 million minus stars, that would be more than appropriate!!!

I can't understand the bad reviews that were there yesterday. We've known Ginza for a few years now. Unfortunately, many things have declined significantly. Staff is unmotivated and unfriendly. You're not even greeted anymore. When you sit down at the table, you wait forever to order a drink. When grilling, ingredients from other people are often mixed in that you didn't have on your own plate. This is a no-go.

The food wasn't good at all. The meat/fish tasted like rubber and some of it was still raw. At the buffet the beans smelled very bad. When we pointed it out, we weren't taken seriously and they took it away from there, no apology or anything was given. When we pointed out the food again because it was very cold and disgusting, all we got was a grin and the staff ran away. Service can't even speak 1 word of German. Unfriendly service, The buffet is not refilled after 7:30 p.m. No salmon and the lamb chops. I don't know if you can still call them cutlets. Nobody comes to clear the plates even though the plates are piled up. I can only recommend this restaurant to someone who just wants to eat and stuff themselves and has no sense of taste. The others who know something about food and are happy to leave a tip for nice staff should lower their expectations or look further afield. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We were there for lunch. Lunch, freely selectable at the counter: duck, chicken, beef pp with various vegetables and mushrooms. Everything that is on the Asian menu. I can't judge whether the food (lunch) from the containers was freshly prepared... only, it was, not as usual, i.e. Not warm enough for me in parts. The spontaneously chosen lunch menu was somewhat okay. The service was friendly, yes and you could pay with EC Carmen. I.e. if you need Asian food quickly. I'll happily eat again.

Have been to Ginza again for a long time. Staff makes a tortured impression. The dishes are broken in every corner and you have to dig a bit in the cutlery container before you find clean cutlery. The clips for the plates are dirty and sticky. The sauces at the warm buffet were very watery and didn't taste like anything. The ice was also underground. I've never left ice cream before but this time I couldn't eat it. It didn't taste like anything. At one point I even had the feeling that it wasn't good anymore. The taste was so strange. The boss asked me about it because I hadn't eaten. I then told her my opinion about it and that I had never come across it before. To be on the safe side, I left it there. We were very disappointed at how everything has changed. It remains to be seen how long Ginza will continue to exist under this not so expert management and this unmotivated team.

The food was okay, but I had to wait forever for a small plate on the grill and was spitefully complained that there should only be 2 not 3 clips on the plate. Hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, e.g. the clamps on the table with which you choose the sauce, among all... the ice cream scoop, which simply sits in some standing water that becomes unappetizing after 2 servings. Plates have e.g. Partly right injuries, and the seat cushion was so deep (worn) that I felt like I was a little child at the table. And the operation also leaves a lot to be desired. When it was pointed out that the clamps were dirty and needed cleaning again, all sorts of excuses came up: it wasn't dirty (see photo) and they would clean them again and again, that's just the way it was..... helllloooo

We were staying at the Hotel Aqua right next door, so we tried this restaurant more by chance after a long bike ride despite the bad rating on Google. And we were more than happy about the enormous selection and also the quality as well as the extremely good price-performance ratio!!! What surprised me most - given the low flat rate for the buffet of only €22.90 at the weekend - was the very good sushi selection!!! I don't understand the bad reviews, because one should remain fair: who would expect an "all you can eat" Chinese gourmet restaurant that would charge five times as much at the lower end! The service was always nice and friendly! CLEAR RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS PLACE! But it's probably best not to arrive much later than 8 p.m. to be sure you'll find a huge selection. The kitchen doesn't officially close until 10 p.m., but realistically not everything is freshly prepared and refilled after 9 p.m. We also thought it was great that you could choose from uncooked fresh fish and meat as well as a lot of different types of vegetables, so that Cook everything in the wok in front of you!

We (me and my children, 4 & 1,1) went here for lunch on a warm day. It was very humid in the restaurant, so we wanted to sit outside. “It’s not possible with children,” the restaurant manager said and showed us a table inside. I would have had enough to leave the restaurant, but my son really wanted to eat sushi, so we stayed. We were asked what we wanted to drink as we walked past as we stood at the sushi counter. (I have experience in gastronomy myself and I don't think it's ok). We weren't offered the high chair, so I had to get it myself. The food was ok, but I didn't expect much from it. I gave my little son some rice and tofu from my plate. Some things ended up on the floor, but I saved as much as I could. When I got the bill (by the way, you only get it on request), it said €2 extra service. The waitress took the liberty of charging us for having to sweep the floor. INSURANCE!!! She said *quote* "The baby got the floor dirty and she's not a babysitter so now she has to clean it up." You can give me the money back but I have to clean the floor myself! WHAAAAT??? Should I maybe wash the plates we used? By the way, I didn't get my €2 back. I have never experienced such SANCTUITY. Shame on you

The employees are unfriendly - almost unwilling. The items are removed quickly, re-ordering is rather difficult, I had the feeling throughout the whole visit that I wasn't really welcome, even at the beginning the query about payment methods sounds less like a question about how I would like it, but more like an announcement like it it is asked for. So it's best to put everything together, with a card, that's it! Visually, one suspects weaknesses in hygiene, which is then confirmed when the plates are handed out - dirty plates, and also a lot of dishes with cracks. I actually found seafood contaminated. The furniture is getting old, which wouldn't be tragic if the chairs on the terrace, for example, didn't stain. Overall, it's a shame, because at least the chef had one or two really creative ideas and the sushi looked really excellent. Conclusion: I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant, have never had such concerns about hygiene in a restaurant and will certainly not come back and cannot give any recommendations.

We have been here several times. The last experience was enough for all of us. NEVER AGAIN! We were 9 adults, 2 children 4 and 6, 2 children each 2.5 years old. For the children’s sake, the adults also ordered water bottles. When we were brought three glasses too few and we asked the service to bring us more glasses, the owner came to us and said that each person had to order drinks, otherwise 20% of the buffet price would be charged for each person who didn't order drinks person is offset. It would be outside. (It's 15% and not 20%!!) When we still ordered three glasses of drinks, the owner said that we had now ordered drinks for 9 people and that the extra charge would now be charged for four people. When I asked if this also applies to children, she said it applies to everyone. Incomprehensible to us!!! Teppanyaki usually comes with chilli and garlic. Wasn't available on the grill. When we asked her about it, she said there was only that. When I showed her the sambal oelek with the fly, she threw her hands in the air and said, 'Who didn't close the lid?' - What a disgrace! Absolutely hygienic. Starting with the clamps for the plates, the sticky floor, broken and dirty pepper and salt shakers on the tables...cleanliness is given little, if any, value. If you eat a buffet and don't order a drink, you get a 15% surcharge on the buffet price. Service staff unfriendly and unmotivated at work. The charisma says: we don't care whether they eat or not. Dishes are cleared away using a serving trolley that hasn't come into contact with cleaning products for ages. Abnormal. See photo. Food itself counted, partly dried and hard. Not all of the dishes offered are available. We didn't expect a high kitchen, but it's subpar.

We were in this restaurant for the first and last time. Overall, a rather dingy impression, the tables and chairs were greasy, the clamps on the table for the teppanyaki were extremely dirty and unhygienic. Some of the plates at the buffet were dirty and many had defects on the edges. The offer was ok - but everything was extremely greasy and not very varied in terms of taste. There were also a lot of flies on the buffet and on the plates that were on the counter for the teppanyaki. A lot of things at the buffet were also dirty. The service was extremely unmotivated and slow. We watched as a plate of pasta that was left at the next table was simply dumped back into the container at the buffet. We can't find words for it! We prefer to pay a little more, but can then be sure that food hygiene is maintained! Our children both vomited after visiting the restaurant and we also feel queasy - we couldn't recommend the restaurant at all.

Another drink did not correspond to the reality of expectation - reality. The staff is not friendly. The menu is dirty.

Food was out, rice was out, no one to great you. I tried to eat some of what was left. My daughter would not eat as there were flies buzzing around the food. Rice was gone. I ordered a water and in the final bill they charged me for mineral water at 6 euro. TOTAL BILL and I had to leave without finishing anything as 27 Euro. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Not recommended. I'll never come here again!! the staff was so unfriendly and rude. The buffet was not fresh and empty. I had to ask several times to refill the buffet. My plate was forgotten at the grill and I had to wait 50 minutes for a few shrimps that would actually be ready in 5 minutes. Even though the restaurant was almost empty. The staff was also very cheeky and said if I didn't like it I could go to another restaurant. From now on, Ginzaa will never go to St.Louis again. To the Wok restaurant.

Food still tastes good. Unfortunately the range and selection has become smaller and compared to 7 years ago it has deteriorated a bit. The service staff is friendly, but sometimes the bill takes a little longer to arrive. Price-performance is not as good as it used to be. Still worth a visit.

The food was ok for the cheap price. There is a canteen atmosphere without a particularly high level. Since I just wanted to drink something and only my friend ate something, I was basically thrown out of the store. In addition to the fact that it's a bit humanely wrong, the store seems run down and almost disgusting. The employees seem unhappy and nasty energy permeates the entire restaurant.
