Glattalphütte in Muotathal

Renovated hut with small rooms, child-friendly and delicious food (especially the tomato soup). We enjoyed it.

Very nicely renovated cabin. Women power. Wonderful dinner.

Great hut, very easy to get to, easy to do with small children. It also has lots of games and a trampoline outside. The food was super delicious. The food offering during the day is kept simple.

Great Place to visit ! The Real Swiss Alpine Down to Earth Resort !

We were surprised by the rain and were allowed to hang our clothes out to dry, even though we didn't spend the night. In the evening we were served a very fine menu consisting of soup, salad, main course and dessert.

It was great to get up there in the helicopter

The homemade Linzertörtli was awesome! Crispy, thin, tasty dough and fine jam. Bravo!

With celiac disease on the mountain. Carefree SAC hut stay in a beautiful, modern hut. The gluten-free catering worked really well. Very friendly and attentive hut team. The gluten-free dishes were prepared separately and everyone put a lot of effort into them. Thank you very much again!!

Great cabin. Wonderfully located, in the middle of a great setting. And all lazy people and non-hikers can reach it in 10 minutes from the cable car mountain station. I was also completely impressed by the culinary aspects. Congratulations to the whole team!

This autumn I visited the new Glattalphütte. The hut staff were extremely friendly, helpful and competent. Dinner consisted of a delicious 4-course menu and breakfast consisted of regional products. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the hut retained its homely charm even after the renovation. 10/10, would stay at the Glattalphütte again.

This SAC hut is very easy to reach by train and offers a high level of comfort. It is also located in a beautiful hiking area.

A place where you like to stay.

A place of peace, wonderful! And the food and the hut staff are great.

Nice, friendly team, good and hearty cuisine, For dinner we just received a "4 course meal" with soup, salad main course and dessert. Clean shared rooms with warm duvets. Silk sleeping bags are mandatory but can be rented.

Cozy, clean, comfortable mattresses and above all a team that takes great care of the guests. Thanks!

A nice place to relax and hike.

We were in this SAC hut with the trekking wheelchairs and were welcomed in a very open and friendly manner. The hut is rather small but everything is clean. We also got enough to eat.

Clean hut, but no showers. Friendly and very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity. A lot of places might just give you one entree but they provided an alternative at every course.

Not very modern but clean hut, friendly service and good food with the exception of cakes which appear to be all made using supermarket mixtures. Some fruit cakes would have been nice.

Cozy but brilliant hut, just what you need after a long days hike. Food is fixed menu but portions are generous. Great for groups between 6 to 12. Book in advance!

Cozy rustic hut and very friendly team. Child-friendly and family-friendly environment with Glattalpsee and various streams. Our half board (with overnight stay) was great - large portions and extremely tasty. Booking via the internet works perfectly. PS: On weekends/holidays when the weather is nice, the mountain railway is usually full with long waiting times (capacity 6-8 people).
