Excellent cuisine with ingenious starter specialties, pleasant ambience and attentive service. I also rate the game we ordered as one of the top three in Upper Valais! For me it's definitely one of the best restaurants in the Brig area.

Not even an ice cream menu...etc What is particularly annoying are the residents above on the large terrace!!!...even after 10 p.m. (considered a disturbance of the peace) they have loud parties. And this happens often!!! No consideration for the guests present below!!! I found this very annoying. No, thank you never again.

The restaurant “Glishoru” in Glis – A warm recommendation Anyone who, like me, has chefs in their family roots, loves Valais cuisine, has visited the best restaurants all over the world and has also done a lot of mystery shopping in hotels and restaurants, knows what good taste actually is. And so it is my heartfelt desire to warmly recommend the restaurant “Glishoru” on the Gliser village square. After my visit a few days ago, I remember why I have always enjoyed eating here. The good experience begins with the extremely friendly and attentive reception, the allocation of (pre-reserved!!!) seats and the attention with which you are welcomed by the service staff. Despite the fact that the restaurant is actually always full, the guest is served quickly and with a lot of joy and is made truly happy. Keyword happiness: The extraordinary cuddly box in “Glishoru” was an experience for me and my wife that combined amazement, surprise and enthusiasm in the best way. This is complemented by the selected, high-quality, chicly prepared and perfectly served dishes, which are not only a real feast for the eyes, but also a real treat for the palate. As soon as you look at the fresh, warm rolls you can feel that attention is paid to detail. This is exactly how good gastronomy begins, right down to the last detail. By the way, the family-run restaurant is run by three sisters. I had a very warm conversation with two of them and was then able to leave a restaurant with my wife happy and full, which I will always enjoy visiting. My clear recommendation for everyone who is looking for a special restaurant in the Upper Valais: The restaurant “Glishoru” in Glis. Don't forget to make a reservation in advance, otherwise it could get a little crowded in the full restaurant.
